The two women walked to Olivia's room making small talk along the way. After they entered the room, Brione felt a heavy feeling inside her chest. Olivia seemed to be a nice woman and she could feel that she was treating her genuinely. Those smiles of hers towards Brione were not at all fake.

She felt that it was better to have an opponent like those crazy bitches they show in dramas than a calm and understanding person like Olivia. Olivia was more complicated to deal with than them because she was the type of woman you would have to think twice before treating her unfairly.

"I am sorry," Brione whispered as soon as she sat on the couch. She did not know why but she was compelled to apologize. Maybe because she felt guilty after seeing the sincere eyes of Olivia. She could feel how much she loved Cedric even though she was hiding it behind her smiles. It was a woman's instinct. She had good eyes in deciphering a woman.

Olivia, who was not expecting that, was caught off guard. She was about to say something when the doorbell rang. It was the room service staff who arrived with the bottles of vodka she requested.

She immediately dismissed the staff, opened a bottle, and handed it to Brione before sitting on the couch opposite Brione.

"You don't have to apologize when you did nothing wrong. Cedric chose you and I respect that. What matters is if you are someone deserving of his love. And I can say that you are after spending a short time knowing you." Olivia said with a reassuring smile.

Brione looked at her and asked, "How are you so sure?"

Olivia smiled and said, "Eyes don't lie Brione. And your eyes tell me that you? love Cedric so I am relieved."

'I love Cedric? No! It's Gavin that I love!' Brione thought in shock. She drank the vodka in her hand before asking, "Did you notice it too?"

"Notice what?" Olivia asked while taking a sip of vodka. She was trying her best to feel normal but there was an undeniable tension between her and Brione. It was not the bad kind of tension though.

"How different he is…" Brione opened up before gulping her vodka. Olivia stayed silent and watched her. She had noticed the difference in him since she was with Cedric for a long time but Brione… She had only spent a few days with Cedric, not even a week so how could she say that?

Brione wanted to let go of that heavy feeling inside her chest. She was not someone who would hurt a person intentionally but how could she explain things to Olivia without making things complicated?

"You've known Cedric since childhood right?" Brione asked.

"Yes," Olivia answered.

Brione stared at her without blinking for a few seconds. "Do you know if he has birthmarks on his butt?"

Olivia spat the vodka she was drinking, hearing that question.

"I'm sorry if that was too much. I was embarrassed to ask Will about it so I thought I could… Oh, it's so embarrassing I'm sorry," Brione whispered with a red face.

Olivia laughed, finding Brione cute as Brione scolded herself for what she said with a flushed face.

"Well, Cedric doesn't have birthmarks in any part of his body. Nothing that I remember." Olivia answered as her curiosity piqued on why Brione would ask her such a question.

'So if he has birthmarks now then it would mean that he is not Cedric,' Brione concluded. 𝑓𝓇𝑒𝑒𝚠e𝘣𝓷𝘰ѵe𝑙.com

She just wanted to make sure that Cedric did not share the same birthmarks as Gavin. Well, it was something impossible but since their faces had great similarities so, what if their birthmarks did too? But now she knew that Cedric didn't have any birthmark.

It was in her hands now to find out if there were birthmarks as Cedric was not cooperative enough to look at it himself.

"You can practically ask me anything because I know him inside out," Olivia unintentionally boasted but she was simply stating the fact.

Brione knew Olivia didn't mean to boast about it but she still felt a pang of pain in her heart. She maintained her smile and said, "Hmm, I will take my time getting to know him more then."

There was a stagnant pause as both women focussed on drinking and getting more vodka. Brione honestly wanted to ask more about Cedric to help her differentiate between him and Gavin but she decided not to continue anymore because she was scared of getting hurt once Olivia talked more about how well she knew Cedric.

"Tell me something Brione. I heard that the first time you saw or met Cedric was when you arrived here. I mean it's a really short period of time since the both of you have known each other so what made you accept him?" Olivia asked, her eyes staring at the ring Brione wore on her finger. It was magnificent and looked good on her.

She had already heard everything from Will and Cedric himself that it was Cedric who was pursuing Brione. She also knew that everything was Cedric's plan and he was the reason why Brione was at Perdu Island.

No woman would reject someone like Cedric but she wanted to hear Brione's answer.

Brione had a beautiful smile on her face as she subconsciously looked at the ring Cedric gave her.

"He's different from others you know. He's bold and aggressive but not in a bad way. He's not afraid to speak his mind and doesn't hesitate to do what he feels is right. I didn't accept him because he has power or belongs to the Royal family but because I could feel his sincerity towards me. I feel secure, comforted, and warm when I'm with him. It's like I've known him for a long time and not just for the days that I've stayed here with him.

I feel this strong and intense connection with him that I myself cannot explain. Sometimes I even question the rationality of the decisions I make when it involves him but my heart always overrides that rationality and tells me to go ahead and accept him."

Olivia bit her inner cheeks as she looked at Brione. She poured another shot of vodka and drank it one go. She shook her head and sighed.

"I know you love him. I can feel it too so I'm really sorry if I suddenly came in between you guys," Brione whispered.

"Don't be sorry. There's nothing to be sorry about for loving someone. I'm glad that Cedric's feeling towards you is reciprocated. It's more than enough for me that your feelings for each other are mutual." Olivia whispered.
