And Chen Yi knew that she was already in the clutches of that man. She had never thought about backing off. If heavens were throwing a golden opportunity at her, she would not be ungrateful to reject it. Chen Yi could already think about the ugly faces of all those of her family, especially Chen Ying, upon hearing the news that she was marrying Li Luxian.

Her lips curved up into a smile as she imagined them going purple with shock once they learned that the daughter they abandoned was going to become the legal wife of the Li Luxian.
