No hands were raised but noise grew while Long Bo cursed Rize.

The former empress dowager cleared her throat, the room fell silent immediately. She was a wise woman whose every word was considered great. "While I do not agree with the language Rize has used, I find that she is right. There is nothing simple about this affair, you must not forget murder."

Collective gasps were shared by nearly all of the people in the great hall of the palace.

The royal secretary played a video via hologram of the day Mei Mei was pushed down the stairs and what proceeded.

He gestured at his secretary and she played them an audio recording of the conversation between Mei Mei and Waning. The content left the members of the royal family flabbergasted.

"He poisoned her!" Long Rize jumped up. "We did not know this." She reached for her phone immediately, mumbling, "I am calling Chi-Chi right now. This scum will be lucky to make it to the day of his divorce and arrest alive."
