POV Knight:

The tall canopies of the trees swayed in the warm summer draft, and the sunlight passed through the gaps between the leaves.

The soldiers in Mongol-styled armor surrounded multiple decorated chairs. Old men dressed in long velvet tunics playing with colors sat there, their wrinkly faces covered with droplets of sweat.

The smoke crawled close to the ground, sprawling and moving between the trees.

"You are illegally on this soil! This land belongs to our kingdom!" One of them banged his fist against the armrest as if he was trying to be intimidating.

However, the being in the black full-plate armor, with a glossy red tint and glowing runes, didn't even flinch, his eyes flashing with ridicule under his horned helmet shaped to look like a head of a dragon. ƒ𝐫𝗲𝒆𝑤𝚎𝐛𝙣𝐨𝙫𝙚𝚕. 𝒄o𝓂

'Do they really think we will leave just because they said so?'

"Hahahaha!" The man sitting on the throne of black volcanic stone with still glowing red trails of magma as if it was just formed from freshly cooled down lava burst into laughter.

"Mortals! We serve the dragon, his Majesty Vesuvius. Dragons are masters of nature. We are not infringing upon your artificially marked territory. It is you who is trespassing on the land belonging to the dragons!" The domineering aura of fire and lightning spread out, making the old man and the muscular warlords shrink back.

Even the sunlight dimmed, and the trees swayed under the overwhelming magic energy radiating out.

He enjoyed every minute of the show, 'Who would want to be a hero? Being a villain is a much better job.'

He couldn't help but feel ridiculed at how silly his dream was when he originally appeared in this world. He wanted to be a hero and have his harem. Yet, he instead became a henchman of an evil empire.

Finally, the last group, in the mismatched armor, joined the fray. A blonde boy with a stupid ponytail and ugly green coat stood up from his chair.

"We want access to the dungeon! You can't hoard it for yourself! We, the great Agamemnon guild, requ..."

Everyone turned at him, the kobold guard's eyes glowing with fury and the human guards' faces looking like they wanted him to shut up.

'Another bunch of weaklings just loudly shouting.' He still remembered his shock when he realized that he didn't just get issekaied, but instead, he got sent into some weird videogame as an NPC.

He felt the eyes of the players on him, making him bask in the feeling of reverence and fear he got from them. He loved how they tried to get on his good by happily fulfilling any ridiculous tasks he threw on them.

"This was my last word, mortals. If you want to access this land, speak with your swords, not your words!"

'I hope it sounded good.' He always tried to imitate the intimidating style of his master.

"So be it! We will bring an army of his divinity, the lord of the wind!"

"Hahaha, you are just an arrogant NPC, just way until our immortal armies stump you to the ground!"

POV Vesuvius:

The dragon leaned over the vast phosphorescent lake that almost went from one wall to another, filling the wide space of the cavern, the glowing white crystals on the ceiling reflecting in it.

His claw slowly descended, and its tip passed through the water's surface without resistance. It didn't feel like he dipped it into something, nor did it create ripples on its perfectly clean surface. It was as if the weird liquid wasn't even there.

Then slight tingling and itching sensation seeped into his claw and from it into his finger. He could feel his blood flow change as if the liquid somehow affected him.

'Is it doing something? At least it doesn't feel harmful.'

Vesuvius slowly moved his claw and stirred, but there was no reaction nor resistance from the liquid, as if his claw didn't touch it.

'But it got affected during my fight with that knight... but that wasn't likely even real.'

A thought briefly passed through his mind, but then he just shook his head, 'No, fully dipping myself into some unknown liquid is a bad idea. I will rather let my players try it as even if they die or get crippled, they can just respawn.'

The dragon brought back his clawed hand and spread his wide wings. He bent his legs, his muscles tensing as he prepared to take off.

The stone ground cracked under his feet, and small rocks rolled into the lake.

His eyes immediately widened, and his two hearts pounded in excitement.

The moment the rocks submerged into it, they crumbled and turned into dust, and then even the dust dissipated.

'Huh, so it can disintegrate stone into nothingness, but it doesn't even affect me.'

He was sure of it. If his claw was simply too resistant to damage, he would at least get alerted to it by his nerves. But there was no such reaction.

The dragon looked at the lake again, and a terrifying idea formed within his mind. His horns lit up, and his domain expanded out, slithering under the lake like a tentacle of an octopus.

The rocks on the lakebed shook, compressed, and shifted, creating a small depression. However, the lake remained perfectly calm, the mysterious liquid not even moving to fill up the empty space beneath it as if it wasn't even a liquid.

'Just as I thought... It looks like the rivers in the dungeon are not flowing as they are due to the terrain, but instead, the terrain was carved by the rivers disintegrating every obstacle in their path.'

The dragon finally flapped his wings and rose from the ground. The lightning crackled, with blue and gold arcs dancing in the whirling clouds of ash and snow.

The next moment he shot forwards, the shockwave blasting through the dungeon. Everything around him blended into a blur of darkness and flashes of light from the glowing crystals.

'I should return to the base camp to see how my minions advanced.'
