Leave Me Alone, Big Brothers! [BL]-Chapter 105: I Want Louis Back!
That Sunday, Alexander cleared his schedule again. He wanted to accompany Nathan. But the boy seemed to be doing everything he could to drive him away.
Seeing that he was still weak, Alexander let it be but monitored his every move and everything he was given. He also had to postpone taking the boy for a walk.
"We’ll go for a walk next Sunday. I hope you’ll be better tomorrow. If not, you’d better stay home. I’ll send a note to the school for you," said Alexander.
Nathan sat with a pillow behind his back. "I’m fine, thanks. I’m not going anywhere without Louis."
Alexander sighed again. "Listen to me, Nathan. Louis is not here anymore, and you have to accept whoever replaces him. Or do you want someone else? You want Jack? Steven?"
Nathan still looked annoyed. "I don’t want anyone else! If you want me to have a bodyguard, it’s only Louis."
"Nathan, please. Don’t be difficult."
Nathan glared at Alexander. "You’re the one being difficult."
Alexander stared intently at Nathan. "Do you know what mistake you’ve made? I tolerated it. You made me and everyone else worry! And I will never let that happen again."
Nathan cringed at Alexander’s harsh tone. He was very upset, but the man’s expression was frightening. Plus, he also felt guilty.
"Replace him with me then. Keep him. If I’m not here, he won’t have this kind of trouble. He should still be working normally."
Hearing Nathan’s words, instead of softening, Alexander became even angrier, though it was clear he was holding back. And Nathan realized it.
His eyes widened when he saw his brother’s hand raised. He closed his eyes and turned his face away, anticipating a slap.
But the pain he imagined did not come. Instead, there was a gentle stroke on his cheek.
Alexander leaned forward and spoke in a low, deep voice. "Never ever say that again. I will never let my brothers, my family, disappear from my sight. But every action has consequences. I hope you understand that. You are not only responsible for yourself, but also for the people around you."
Nathan swallowed hard, staring into his brother’s calm but serious eyes. He felt that those blue eyes were like a cold ocean.
Alexander straightened. "Never talk about this again. If you don’t choose my men, I will arrange Lorenzo for you. That’s my decision."
Nathan clenched his fists, still unable to accept Louis’s loss. His guilt grew even heavier.
But if Alexander insisted on making him accept his decision, he was wrong. Nathan would bring Louis back, no matter what it took.

The next day.
Alexander entered the kitchen, his robe billowing slightly. He looked rested. He made sure Serene prepared a special breakfast for Nathan and arranged a special lunch.
"I have prepared food and fruit for Master Nathan’s lunch, and I made porridge again for his breakfast. But since yesterday, he has been complaining. He said he wants a normal food," said Serene.
Alexander nodded. "I know. Don’t worry, he will eat the porridge. Once he gets better, he will have normal food again. Just stick to what I told you."
Serene nodded. "Yes, Master."
Alexander was about to leave the kitchen when he noticed a shadow behind him.
He saw Huan heading for the coffee machine, ignoring him.
"Good morning, Mr. Holster," Alexander greeted.
Huan seemed ready for a final battle with the man. He smiled faintly and put down his coffee cup as the sound of the machine grinding beans filled the room.
"Well?" Alexander waited.
Huan grabbed his full cup and immediately walked out, but stopped in front of Alexander.
"Good morning, Mr. Salazar. I hope you slept well last night," he replied, then continued on his way.
Alexander narrowed his eyes. Huan was still dressed casually, not in the formal suit he usually wore.
"Stop there," Alexander called.
Huan stopped at the doorway and turned around, the cup still in his hand. His gaze was calm, and for a moment it made Alexander uneasy.
That gaze was so cold, as if forming a thick wall.
"What is it?" Alexander asked. "You ignored me?"
Huan smiled slightly, only with his lips, his eyes still cold and defiant.
"Who would be brave enough to ignore you, Mr. Salazar?"
Alexander stood before him, his dominant posture usually enough to make Huan submit. This time it still worked, but Huan refrained from reacting as he normally would, maintaining his cold demeanor, even though his heart was pounding.
Alexander smirked slightly. "Don’t hold your breath."
Huan looked away, feeling his blood rush. Unconsciously, he had been holding his breath.
"What is it? You don’t usually act like this."
Huan took a deep breath, regaining the courage he’d had minutes earlier.
"What do you expect from a future farmer? Don’t pay attention to me," Huan said, walking away.
But Alexander was not satisfied. He grabbed Huan’s arm.
"You’re holding a grudge against me?"
Huan sighed. "I don’t want to talk about it because I’ll lose my temper, and I’m afraid I’ll disrespect you."
"Try it."
"It’s still morning, Alex."
"You started that attitude."
"Forget it. I need to enjoy my coffee. Please enjoy your breakfast." Huan tried to leave, but Alexander’s grip tightened.
Alexander wanted to say more, but saw Huan growing irritated.
"Well... how are you?" Alexander asked. He just wanted to keep the man near him a little longer. He really missed Huan, though he would never admit how much the man was driving him insane.
Huan didn’t look at him. He stared at his cup, steam curling around his face. "I don’t know if you really want to know after you almost shot me yesterday."
"Is that why you’re angry with me?"
Huan sighed. There were many reasons, but even if he explained them, Alexander would never understand.
"Just look at me as a corpse now." In truth, he had died after that night.
Alexander’s lips curved into a ghost of a smirk, though his eyes stayed serious. "I didn’t do it, did I? I knew you’d come back with me. I knew you weren’t foolish enough to choose those animals over me. Stop being an asshole, Huan."
Huan finally turned, meeting Alexander’s gaze. His smile was thin, brittle, completely devoid of warmth. "Oh, Alex... if you’re looking for an asshole, I suggest you find a mirror."
Serene and the servants near the pantry froze, eyes fixed on their tasks while their ears strained. The kitchen atmosphere shifted from domestic to a battlefield.
Alexander laughed dryly. "My little Huan is quite brave now."
Huan’s eyes sharpened. "I’m not your Huan anymore."
Alexander watched him walk away, then followed alongside him.
"Your attitude makes me wonder if you gave that old man my schedule. Why does he want me to meet Athena Argonne?" Alexander asked.
"I think that’s no longer my problem. I don’t have time to get involved in your relationship."
"So it was you. How do you know it’s about my relationship? What did you tell that old man?"
Huan stiffened. He had fallen into a trap, but he smiled calmly. "I don’t know what you’re talking about. You know Sir Antonio’s abilities. He knows you better than you think."
"What did he offer you?"
Alexander’s accusation came without warning. Huan’s heart raced as the arrogance he had tried to maintain slowly crumbled.
For some reason, he felt afraid.
"Sorry. I have no interest in talking about it."
"Neither do I. But I know you’re the one who dragged me into this mess. So you have to pull me out," Alexander said, blocking Huan’s path.
"Once again, what did he offer you?" His voice was soft, but heavy with pressure.
Huan swallowed hard. Alexander immediately recognized the hesitation.
Huan turned his face away and tried to step aside.
"Don’t run away." Alexander grabbed his hand roughly.
Huan gasped in surprise, spilling half his coffee. He groaned as the hot liquid splashed onto his hand.
"Shit." Alexander quickly took the cup and placed it on a nearby table beside a vase. He grabbed Huan’s hand and rubbed it gently.
For a moment, he forgot Huan was a bodyguard accustomed to holding weapons. He treated him like a child who had been splashed with hot water.
Huan pulled his hand back, his chest tightening dangerously. He had tried to shut his heart, but even such a small gesture threatened to ruin everything.
"I won’t die from it," Huan said, withdrawing his hand.
Alexander sighed. "Tell that old man I won’t go. Whatever you’re both planning, I will never go."
Huan looked down. "Why don’t you try? It’s not only about you. It’s for your family too."
Alexander stared at him, grinning. "I’m not interested. And you’re not in a position to advise me."
Huan nodded. "I know. I was never really part of you. Never will be."
Alexander froze, stunned by the raw venom in Huan’s voice. Huan was usually the buffer, the calm sea to Alexander’s storm. Now, the sea was crashing against the cliffs.
Huan didn’t wait for a response. He picked up his cup and walked away.
Alexander was about to follow when a voice echoed from the terrace.
"I will go myself!!" Nathan shouted.
"What is it now?" Alexander sighed before heading toward the terrace.
