Chapter 118: Empty Dominance

Nathan was too shocked. He couldn’t think of anything at that moment. Or afterward.

Even when he returned to the mansion, the only thing working was his heart, which was beating very fast, giving him a strange sensation throughout his body.

"Sorry for loving you."

Those words...

Nathan was dazed in the car. Even when Louis opened the door for him, he didn’t notice.

Louis looked inside at Nathan, who seemed confused. He immediately became worried. He didn’t want to make another mistake by missing something about his master.

"Nathan, are you okay?" asked Louis.

Louis’ question finally broke Nathan’s reverie, bringing him back to reality. He immediately turned his head, realizing they had stopped and were in front of the mansion.

"Oh," he said softly, grabbing his bag. "No, I’m okay, Louis. I’m just... tired."

Nathan convinced himself that he was so exhausted that this strange sensation had appeared. His body was numb, but his chest was pounding with a happiness he couldn’t explain.

Louis continued to watch him. Now the young man was smiling to himself.

What’s wrong with the boy?

"Sure, are you okay?" Louis asked again.

Nathan cleared his throat immediately. "Yeah! I’m fine!"

But despite his happiness, Nathan felt something was bothering him. Did Zane like him because he was a rich kid? What would happen after he left the mansion and Zane lost interest in him?

Was he ready to have his heart broken?

Nathan wasn’t sure if he was actually falling in love or if it was just a momentary feeling of euphoria.

Zane... that boy was very strange, unique, but always made him feel comfortable in an unusual way. Was this love? It seemed too fast, he hadn’t thought about it that way.

Now, what should he do? He hadn’t said anything since Zane confessed his feelings. He was still too shocked.

Nathan took a deep breath, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Well, he was happy. But he also felt strange, and something was bothering him, making him uncomfortable.

"Damn! What is it?!" Nathan lay down. Why did his heart feel strange?

Then he wondered, if they were dating, what should they do?

Eat ice cream, go for a walk, then... kiss?

Nathan felt his cheeks flush. What was he thinking?!

But anyway, how would they make love?

He felt perverted, but it seemed like he needed to think about it.

Now he was seriously thinking about Vale and Gerry. What did they do when they were dating? All he knew was that one of them had to be the top or the bottom.

Nathan imagined Zane on top of him, trying to kiss him.

"Aarrghhh!" Nathan immediately jumped up. "Why am I so perverted?!" He rubbed his face repeatedly, trying to clear his head.

What is top, anyway? Nathan was sure it was the position of who had to kiss and who had to be kissed.

"I would like to be top. I will give him a lot of kisses," thought Nathan, before burying his head under the pillow.

Meanwhile, Alexander was busy with his own feelings. He saw Huan getting further and further away, and he tried to think about what was wrong.

But he could only come to the conclusion that Huan was bored and didn’t want to continue the relationship anymore.

He always knew how to solve problems. Now it was his heart that was the problem. And he knew he had to solve it quickly, because it was really interfering with his work.

If Huan couldn’t be with him anymore, he would find someone else. He was sure that was the only way to settle his feelings again.

Huan just sighed every time Alexander pulled a man from the nightclub to serve him. It wasn’t that he no longer had feelings for the man, but he tried to believe this was for the best.

The sooner Alexander found a replacement, the sooner he would move on.

At least, that was his hope.

Huan had just escorted a handsome, "inexperienced" young man, as Alexander had requested, into the room.

The young man was trembling slightly, as evident from his hands. His eyes were covered with a black cloth. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Huan bowed respectfully before turning away.

"No, Huan. Stay here," Alexander ordered.

Alexander’s voice made the young man, who had overheard, tremble even more.

Huan looked down before looking at Alexander. The man was a real jerk. But he would not lose. He finally stood at the glass balcony door, his gaze challenging.

Alexander smirked slightly. He just wanted to play tonight. He wanted to know if Huan truly no longer had feelings for him.

But Huan really showed that he no longer had feelings, at least, that’s what Alexander saw.

Alexander seemed annoyed. In the center of the room, the young man Huan had brought was pinned on the cold glass table. He was beautiful in a generic way, trembling under the weight of Alexander’s overwhelming presence, open, exposed.

"Don’t move," Alexander commanded, his voice a low, dangerous growl. He didn’t look at the young man. He looked toward the shadow standing by the heavy velvet curtains.

Huan stood perfectly still, his silhouette framed by the moonlight. He didn’t protest. He didn’t move to leave. He simply lowered his head, his gaze fixed firmly on the polished floorboards. He looked like a man resigned to his fate, waiting for a storm to pass.

Damn! Alexander cursed silently.

"I said watch, Huan," Alexander said, reminding him.

Huan finally turned his head. His eyes were cold, meeting Alexander’s gaze with a silent, defiant challenge. Do your worst, his eyes said. I feel nothing.

Alexander turned his attention back to the young man on the table, his movements harsh and devoid of any warmth. He wanted noise. He didn’t want to train the young man. He never rushed things.

He gripped the young man’s hair, pulling his head back to expose his throat, forcing a sharp, jagged cry of surprise and pain from his lips.

"Ahhnn, h-hurt..." The young man’s whimper turned into a scream as Alexander dominated him with cold, calculated ferocity.

"I don’t give you permission to talk, bitch!"

The young man immediately fell silent, gritting his teeth, holding his breath. He couldn’t see anything, which made it even more frightening for him.

Huan watched as the young man’s bound hands clenched. His stomach wasn’t as tight as his own, but it was tempting—the way his breath rose and fell with anxiety.

Did he look like that? So frustrated and weak. Did Alexander like him in that position?

His stomach tightened, as if he were the one tied up there. Memories of his time with Alexander—how that man had dominated his body—made him tremble now.

The memory alone was enough to make his manhood stiffen.

Damn it, he thought.

He tried to hold back his feelings. But he held his breath every time the young man groaned and Alexander silenced him. He felt like he wanted to kneel right then and there.

The young man’s voice, why was it so strong and powerful?

His own body was betraying him. His breath caught in his throat. He felt the phantom pressure of Alexander’s hands on his own skin. The sight of the young man’s bound hands clenching and unclenching made Huan’s palms sweat. He wanted to look away, but he couldn’t.

Alexander saw the subtle change in Huan, the way his pupils dilated, the way his chest began to rise and fall faster. A dark, twisted satisfaction surged through him. He reached down, his large hand moving over the young man’s crotch, feeling the frantic heat there.

The young man let out a broken moan, his head tossing from side to side. "Please... hurt! Master..."

Alexander’s eyes never left Huan’s. He saw Huan’s hand clenched so hard his knuckles turned white. He saw the telltale tension in Huan’s trousers. Huan was reacting. He was still his.

Alexander leaned down, his lips brushing the young man’s ear, but his words were meant for the man across the room. "I haven’t even started yet," he whispered, his voice a low vibration of pure dominance.

He began to move, his touch harsh and demanding, forcing the young man into a state of whimpering, mindless submission. Every sound the young man made was a strike against Huan’s resolve. Alexander pushed harder, faster, wanting to hear the young man break, wanting to see the moment Huan finally fell to him even more than he wanted the man beneath him.

But as the young man’s cries grew louder, as the friction and heat reached a fever pitch, Alexander looked at the young man’s face, the blindfolded, generic face of a stranger. He realized he didn’t care about the noise. He didn’t care about the submission.

He looked at Huan.

Huan was trembling now, his face flushed, his eyes filled with a mixture of agony and desire he could no longer hide. He looked like he wanted to scream. He looked like he wanted to run across the room and shove the young man off the table so he could take his place.

And in that moment, Alexander’s desire died.

The surrogate was a bitch. A nothing. Alexander’s hand slowed. A wave of profound emptiness washed over him. He could have the world’s most beautiful men in his bed, make them all scream for mercy, but they weren’t Huan. They didn’t have Huan’s soul, Huan’s history, or Huan’s quiet, devastating power over him.

He pulled away from the young man, his chest heaving. The young man lay on the table, a shivering mess of unspent tension and confusion.

"Get dressed, and get out," Alexander breathed, his voice cracking with sudden, sharp vulnerability. He untied the young man.

"M-master?" the young man whispered, confused by the sudden coldness.

"I said get out!" Alexander roared.

The young man scrambled off the table, put on his clothes, and fled the room in blind panic.

The door slammed shut. The silence that followed was louder than any scream. Alexander stood by the glass table, his back to Huan, his shoulders slumped. He felt pathetic. He had tried to prove his power, and all he had proven was his own dependency.

"Shit!" he cursed. "Get out!" he ordered Huan.

Huan was surprised he saw unusual anger in Alexander’s eyes, a look of frustration and something else.

He wanted to stay.

But... no.

He bowed his head and walked out.

He felt something heavy weighing on his heart.
