Legacy Of Fire: Chronicles Of The F-ranked Anomaly-Chapter 88: Fire Vs Gold, He Makes His Entrance!
Nathan was looking at the knight; he could feel the powerful energy coming from one being, and it almost didn’t feel human.
He then turned his attention to Theo and Raya lying there unconscious, he couldn’t even care less.
’Sad that it didn’t take their life, could have saved me enough time.’
He turned back to the knight, he couldn’t see the reason for such a being to let two humans live. Another thing that caught his eye was that there was no sign of Darius anywhere.
’I knew that it was a fluke, there is no way that no good for nothing was an SS-ranked.’ He turned to look at the Transponder, he then slowly turned to the warrior and the knight in front of him.
’If I want to live here and take everything to be mine, then I would need to make sure that all of them die, but first I need to know what happened to my team.’
"Mr. Cruz, I need to find out what happened to those two," The Transponder pointed to Raya and Theo. "Please, can you cover me?"
The Transponder spoke up, snapping Nathan back to reality. The warrior turned to look at the man.
He had such killing intent towards him, but he was not going to risk anything until he knew that nothing was going to be a problem for him.
"Are you sure that it’s going to be a good idea for you to do that? I mean..."
He looked up to see Michael charging up an attack, it was like they were about to have a gladiator match.
"Those two are about to clash. Is it a good idea for you to even go close to them?"
The Transponder turned to see what Nathan meant, and he could see Michael. He knew it was about to be an explosive fight, but then he had a sense of worry.
"I pray nothing happens to them. This isn’t looking good." He held his hand to his chest, looking at the fight that was about to unfold.
"C’mon, knight! You think I am scared of you?" Michael charged his entire body up, his eyes glowed with their signature golden colour.
"I will take you down like every other monster!"
Pryion took a deep breath, and he walked forward, looking at the warrior in front of him.
"I want you to know the difference between us and understand that no matter what you do." Pryion dropped Isakador on the floor, and the very ground where the blade touched turned to lava.
"You will not win this fight, even though I can feel traces of a greater power within you. So I beseech you, child, stop this."
Michael laughed hard. He was looking at Pryion, and he didn’t know what the knight was trying to say.
"Cut me all the chivalry and die!"
"Golden Rush! Gatling Round- Power Launch!"
Michael blitzed for Pyrion at a greater and stronger speed, the blow was devastating enough to level a building. The waves caused the trees to shake, and the ground around them trembled. If it wasn’t for the protective barrier Pryion had put on Theo and Raya, they would have been blown away.
When the waves from the punch cleared out, it could be seen that Pryion was again holding Michael’s hand.
Not bruised, his armour not even dented, he stood there looking at the warrior.
"You chose to strike me, how foolishly bold." Pyrion used the back of his hand to smack Michael a few feet away.
Nathan and the Transponder were shocked to see Michael being thrown back like a doll.
"How is this possible? That was a powerful blow. How did that creature not fall?" The Transponder was shocked, he couldn’t believe his eyes.
Nathan swallowed hard. He was looking at the knight, and he couldn’t shake off that eerie feeling he had.
"If that is the boss of this dungeon, there is no way we are going to be able to win easily."
Meanwhile, Michael got up from the rubble he had caused with his body. His entire body was covered with injuries, blood dripping from different angles.
He was filled with rage; he looked at the knight, and his anger could be felt leaking.
"You bastard!" He gritted his teeth as his body began glowing; he was healing his wounds.
Pryion, still standing in the same position, turned to the warrior.
"I thought that would work for a stubborn child like you, but it seems I miscalculated." The knight mocked the warrior, he was not about to waste his time there.
Michael looked at the knight, and his rage couldn’t be bottled. He looked at Pryion, overflowing with anger.
He took a stance, charging up his right hand with power. He gritted his teeth, looking at the knight.
"I am going to turn you into a tincan!" He took a stance, looking at the knight, the power he was charging up seemed to be sending little ripples around the forest, and Pryion noticed it.
"So you want to take me down with one blow?" The knight spoke with so much authority in his voice. "Very well then, I will respond kindly."
Pryion charged up his right hand with firepower, it shone bright red hot burning flame that seemed to distort reality.
"I hope this won’t kill you, I would kindly advise you to dodge this attack."
Michael grunted. He looked at the knight as he was about to launch himself.
"Go to hell!" He yelled as he dashed for the knight.
"Suit yourself." Pryion dashed for Michael, both of them were at top speed, charging for each other.
"Golden Death!" Michael roared as his fists shone like pure gold.
"Ashen verdict." The knight whispered as his fist burned brighter. "If you choose to take this attack head-on. I pray your next life isn’t filled with ignorance." Pryion charged for the warrior.
Boommmm!
Their fists collided midair—the very wave shattered the earth around them, causing miniature earthquakes, uprooting the trees close to them, and even clearing the clouds above them.
But their fists didn’t collide, a silhouette could be seen in the middle, a third person standing between the two gladiators.
Nathan Cruz and the Transponder were shocked; those attacks were capable of disintegrating a man, but there was someone who could tank it.
"It can’t be..." Nathan mumbled in disbelief, he was seeing something that he would call impossible.
The Transponder was instantly filled with joy.
"It’s him... The third SS-ranked. Darius Winters!"
Darius opened his eyes to look at the two, he was a bit pissed off.
"Would both of you knock it out?!" His voice was so calm, yet so terrifying.
