The entire camp of the Creator Faction was void of life. There was only one person in the Creator Faction who was still believed to be alive, and Elias stood outside the tent of that person.

He moved the curtain aside, and stepped inside the rent, only to be greeted with the extreme temperatures that felt cold, and hot at the same time.

There was a large sphere of blue flames that had covered most of the space inside the large tent.

The flames belonged to Elias, who could easily make them disappear with a single thought. But instead, he made the flames become even more fierce when he stepped closer to them.

"Hmm?" He looked stunned at the fierceness of the flames, and took a step back subconsciously.

"Are you the Inheritor of the Ice Phoenix Flames?" he asked. Even though he knew that there was no one inside the flaming sphere, he still put on a show for the Professors that were watching him.

He received no response to his question, as his voice failed to pass through the flaming barrier.

"It doesn't matter." Elias brought out a few landmines from his storage, while ensuring that they weren't strong enough to actually blow away the flaming barrier.

He placed the mines around the flaming barrier, surrounding that place completely.

After he was done, he stepped out of the tent. He aimed his gun at one of the mines after getting far enough. He could blow the mine with a single wave of his hand with Creation Control, but once again, he didn't want to reveal his abilities

He pulled the trigger, and his bullet flew like lightning, striking at the heart of the mine. The mine blew up, causing a great explosion that made the ground tremble.

The flames of the explosion struck other mines as well, and they also exploded. With each passing second, the explosion kept getting bigger. The entire tent blew away with the explosion, along with the rest of the camp.

The entire place was surrounded by flames, and a cloud of smoke rose up into the sky. The strength of the explosion management to unnerve Helen as well, who hadn't expected this level of strength.

She grew worried, unsure if Kaelen would actually survive this attack. Unfortunately, it was too late. Even if she went down now, she couldn't save him if he was caught by that explosion. And if he had survived that, then there was no need for her to go down.

She clenched her fists, and waited for the flames to die down.

"Hah?" The flames of the explosion didn't die, but they still disappeared, revealing the sphere of ice phoenix flames that was left completely intact.

The barrier wasn't just intact, but it had grown even stronger, as if it had absorbed the minor flames into it.

"No wonder these flames are ranked so high. They can actually absorb weaker flames." The corner of Helen's lips crept up.

She was worried about Kaelen's safety, but the barrier that he had cast was truly incredible. Even she hadn't expected the barrier to be so stable to the point that she wasn't even sure if Kaelen actually felt that explosion outside.

If Kaelen had heard the explosion, why would he still be sleeping peacefully inside? Wouldn't he have come out to check the commotion?

"To think that he is still sleeping. It looks like I was worried for no reason." She glanced at Elten with smugness. "Your little brother can't even disturb Kaelen's sleep, let alone hurt him."

Elten didn't react to her taunts. Was the barrier really so stable that Kaelen couldn't feel the disturbance outside? He found it a little suspicious, but it was indeed the fact that the barrier was extremely stable.

If Kaelen didn't come out to fight Elias, then how could he get a reason to interfere? Things were going off the track, and he didn't like it.

"If Elias's Soul Beast had completed her evolution, then he would have been much stronger. But he is alone, and his class abilities are sealed. No matter how strong a treasure is, at the end of the day, it's only an external object that has limitations."

Just as he thought, Elias tried to shoot at the barrier, but the bullets that came from his gun were melted by the flames before they could even pass through the barrier.

He failed to even call Kaelen out, no matter what he tried. And just like that, thirty minutes passed, and the trial officially ended.

The last two survivors of the test didn't even get to face each other in the end. Elias looked frustrated, and didn't even try to hide it.

He looked at the sky, his gaze piercing through the clouds as if he could see his brother and Helen.

Elten and Helen stood up from their thrones, and materialized before Elias. With the rest officially over, they could finally intervene.

"The test has ended," Elten said. There was no pride or happiness in his eyes about Elias's performance, as he was still a little distracted by the flames of the phoenix.

"How long will it take for your Soul Beast to complete her evolution?" he asked, as he couldn't return with Elias until his soul beast completed the evolution.

"It would take longer. Maybe a few days," Elias answered. "Before it's finished, it can't return to the Academy."

He knew that Elten wouldn't like the answer. He was someone who was lazy by personality, and didn't like to do unnecessary things. He could easily return to the Academy and enjoy his lifestyle, but now he was stuck with him as a Professor.

"Kaelen, the test is over. Wake up." Helen went directly for the flaming barrier, and called out to Kaelen.

"Kaelen?!" After receiving no response, she grew even louder. Despite that, there was only absolute silence.

Seeing her growing impatient, Elias also started to worry. Unlike him, Helen could actually break the barrier as the flames hadn't reached their full potential in his hands yet.
