By joining the Logistics Department, Ethen was no longer considered an outsider. Angah Suit adjusted his glasses and said in a lowered voice, "I don't know if you've heard of the **Extraterrestrial Forces**?"
External forces?
Ethen was taken aback. This term was completely unfamiliar to him and beyond his realm of understanding. Despite being well read, Ethen had never come across this term in any book. External? It should mean beyond the domain, but what exactly does it refer to? Ethen was baffled.
Seeing Ethen's confusion, Angah Suit nodded. "This is information known only to those who have reached a certain level or are involved in specific tasks within the Alliance. It's normal that you haven't heard of it."
"External refers to regions outside the world of battle pets. The reason why a large number of high level monsters suddenly appeared in the Grand Horizon Coliseum is due to the involvement of external forces."
What? Forces from beyond the battle pet world were involved in the Grand Horizon Coliseum incident? Angah Suit's explanation left Ethen utterly shocked. He had never imagined that the situation could be so complex.
"Assistant Angah, are you saying that there are forces beyond the world of battle pets?" Ethen, his curiosity piqued, swallowed hard and continued to ask.
"Of course. Did you really think the world of battle pets is the only one in this universe?" Angah Suit replied.
"In truth, the size of this universe is unknown even to me, and likely to the high ranking officials of our Alliance as well. But what we can be certain of is that outside the world of battle pets, there are vast expanses of space, each forming bizarre and colorful worlds."
"In some of these worlds, there is no life, or only lower forms of life exist. Other worlds are entirely different, with not only a large number of advanced life forms but also highly developed exotic civilizations. The methods of these exotic civilizations are astonishing, almost miraculous!"

Angah Suit sighed as he spoke, acknowledging the limited nature of his understanding of external civilizations. Yet even with the scant information he possessed, he could envision the vastness and grandeur of what lies beyond.
At this moment, a look of longing appeared in Angah Suit's eyes. His words caused Ethen's heart to tremble violently. Ethen suddenly realized his own insignificance. It was the first time he had heard that there were other worlds beyond this one.
"Assistant Angah, the Grand Horizon Coliseum is located within our battle pet world. How are other worlds able to manipulate this beast tide? Could it be that they have become so powerful that they possess the ability to intervene in the battle pet world across countless spaces and times?" Ethen's mouth felt dry, and his voice was somewhat hoarse.
With just a bit of thought, he felt an overwhelming sense of terror. This time, however, Angah Suit did not answer him, as he also didn't know how the external forces had orchestrated this beast tide.
"At my current level, I don't have access to more information on this matter, so I can't provide you with a specific explanation. But you need to understand that the universe is larger than you imagine, and external forces are always ambitious, eyeing our battle pet world," Angah Suit said.
Ethen nodded in understanding. He then noticed Angah Suit's wording
the extraterrestrial world has always been ambitious, eyeing the battle pet world.
Always?
Does this mean that this isn't the first contact between the battle pet world and the extraterrestrial forces? Ethen keenly caught this doubt.
Seeming to sense Ethen's confusion, Angah Suit said, "After the recovery of spiritual energy, our battle pet world has actually faced invasions from the extraterrestrial world from time to time, but ordinary people remain unaware. Have you heard of **Gold level Battle Pet Master Ling San**?"
"Ling San? I've heard of him..." Ethen nodded.
Ling San was a great hero who emerged after the resurgence of spiritual energy. He was exceptionally talented and spent his life battling ferocious monsters, earning significant achievements for humanity. Unfortunately, after the age of 27, he disappeared without a trace. It's said that he went missing while exploring a secret realm, and it is generally assumed that he perished, which is a great regret.
"Do you know where Ling San was last seen?" Angah Suit asked, noticing Ethen's familiarity with Ling San.
"I recall reading in a book that Ling San was last seen near a secret coral reef realm close to the Solomon Islands. The danger level of that coral reef realm is classified as B level," Ethen replied, relying on his memory.
"Alright, no problem. I am willing to serve, for the Alliance and for myself," Ethen agreed.
On the spot, Ethen and Angah Suit signed a confidentiality agreement. Once the paperwork was completed, Angah Suit stood up and extended his hand to Ethen.
"Hmm, it seems you've studied well and remember things clearly," Angah Suit said, a hint of appreciation flashing across his face as he looked at Ethen. But then, he shifted the conversation.
"Then do you know why someone as strong as Ling San, a gold level battle pet master, couldn't escape from a B level secret realm? Doesn't that seem unreasonable to you?"
Indeed, it does seem unreasonable!
Humans have a strict classification system for the secret realms in the battle pet world. The most dangerous secret realms are S level, containing enormous threats even to gold level battle pet masters. Next are A level secret realms, which pose a significant threat to silver level battle pet masters, while gold level masters can enter and exit freely without much danger. Then there are B level secret realms, which pose little to no danger to silver level battle pet masters, let alone to someone like Ling San, a gold level nine battle pet master.
Ethen had felt there was something amiss while reading this part of history. Now, with Angah Suit's prompting, he immediately agreed.
