Legendary Shelter Survival Guide-Chapter 142: Fixing Sarah’s new skill problem (1)
’She told me before about such a skill, but damn that name.’ Lucas thought, the name of the skill almost felt ominous.
"Sarah, what is the skill’s description?"

"..." Sarah kept looking at Lucas with a concerned face as if they would judge her for owning a skill like that but after looking at Lucas’s kind gaze, she had a change of heart.
"... At times of heightened emotions, the skill activates on its own and gives me an increase of 100 mana points till I calm down."
Lucas listened intently to Sarah’s explanation, understanding the significance of the skill but also sensing her discomfort in sharing it.
He maintained his kind gaze, assuring her that he wouldn’t judge her based on her abilities.
"Thank you for sharing, Sarah," Lucas replied with a gentle smile. "It sounds like a good skill, though I can understand why it might feel a bit weird. But there’s no need to worry; having such a skill will always come in handy."
"But I have absolutely no control over the skill, if I get angry to some extent, the skill just passively activates and heightens my anger even further. The buff of mana feels natural if I pay with my sanity. I don’t even want to level up this skill..."
’I should let her keep talking, seems like her tension is decreasing.’ Lucas thought and kept listening to her and nodded showing that he was seriously listening to her.
"Alright, we will think of what to do after this meeting, Sarah. Meet me after your usual routine of training and we will work on these skills without having any kind of trouble I promise."
Sarah nodded in relief and Bill was told to continue further.
"For Ella- Lesser Healing at level 3 with 76%, Healing Ball at level 2 92%, Healing wave at level 2 with 51%, unarmed combat at level 2 with 88%, Basic spearmanship at level 2 with 54%"
"Good, your progress is alright Aunt Ella, just keep healing us and train your fighting skills to level up faster," Lucas remarked while smiling.
"That is good to hear." Ella said while giving glances to John who gave her thumbs up in appreciation.
"Alright, Bill. Next. Make it quick."
"Sean- Strength Buff at level 2 with 96%, Stab at level 1 with 10%, Runesmithing at level 2 with 56% proficiency."
"Barney- Telekenisis at level 3 with 2%, sprint at level 2 with 63%, Mystical restoration at level 2 with 81% proficiency."
"You two are doing great, but the fighting skills are lacking but Uncle John can make you both work on that. Moving on, who’s left."
Lucas asked and no one answered making him realize that everyone’s skills were being inspected by the group altogether.
Clearly, he was mistaken as Bill was not finsihed.
"Lastly Lucas- Shelter Generation at level 3 with 0%, punch at level 3 with 55%, unarmed combat at level 3 with 22%, Basic Spearmanship at level 2 with 10%, Herbalism at level 3 with 66%, Perceptive eyes at level 2 with 89%, Basic swordsmanship at level 3 with 1%. dual sword at level 2 with 21%."

"I had a gist that you had a lot of skills but it’s clearly above my expectations. Even your levels are high with only some lacking behind, good job." John said and patted Lucas’s shoulder in appreciation.
Barney looked at the interaction with a serious face yet one could feel the vibe he was giving off right now.
"Well, gotta work hard in order to survive this phase."
Lucas said and nodded in response to John’s words, appreciating the acknowledgment from his teammate.
Everyone talked for a bit more and that included some important but un-note worthy stuff.
Lucas and John gave pointers to nearly all leaving some frontliners of the shelter that had things already figured out.
Until the time came for them all to start practicing again. Everyone with unity had planned to look at the river later as training came first.
Lucas went on and jabbed in the air in the name of training when Sarah came to him after he was done with his first training of the day.
"Oh, are you done already?" Lucas asked with curiosity as it had not been much time since everyone had gone on their own routines.
"Yeah, the fireball and accuracy is done for the first batch."
Lucas didn’t ask further about the batches she talked about and took than as the sets she did again and again showing in the high proficiency she had at level 3.
"Alright, we will talk about your conjuring skill late but first comes the passive anger skill."
"How do I proceed with it?"
"How have you been doing things lately?" Lucas asked in return to which Sarah told him the bad news.
"... I haven’t done anything for it... or rather I don’t know how to even activate it."

Seeing the tension she was starting to get in again, Lucas quickly thought of a way to help her. He was not omnipotent or an everything-knower so it took time.
"We’ll take this step by step, Sarah," Lucas said reassuringly. "The first thing we need to do is understand the triggers that cause the skill to activate. Can you think of any specific emotions or situations that consistently trigger the skill?"
Sarah paused for a moment, reflecting on her past experiences. "It usually happens when I’m feeling intense anger or fear, the last big one was when you got injured but after that I am just getting some big mood swings here and there only," she admitted.
Lucas nodded understandingly. "That makes sense. Emotions can be difficult to manage, especially in intense situations. But we’ll work on finding ways to help you remain calm and centered even during those moments."
Sarah nodded in agreement after listening to Lucas talk so maturely. She liked Lucas unconditionally but observing him like this was just a cherry o the top for her.
"BUt we also need to level it up so the only option is to make you angry on purpose right now."
"... HUh?"
