Lucas made his way toward the other Kobolds, his face solemn yet the irritation he was exuding could be felt by many.

He passed by Jerry, their eyes didn’t meet as he moved toward the Kobold.

Lucas was inches away from the Kobold that was crouching on the ground, its tail frozen straight as if it had clenched it midair.

"ATTACK" Lucas said to the Kobold with a threatening voice making the Kobold even more uneasy, it didn’t have the ability to move, no matter how much it tried.

Lucas dashed to one after nodding at Bill, his speed unlike the one anybody had seen before.

In a matter of a few steps, Lucas was very close to the creature while it increased its speed’s output.

The other was already dead by Bill and now only one of them was left who was getting chased by Lucas.

The Kobold looked back various times which made its heart skip many beats at once. There was something about how the human traveled that the Kobold didn’t want to get caught.

Memories flashed through its eyes of its brethren’s death. All by yet three humans who didn’t look much at the start.

"Who told you to not come here?" Lucas asked with calm trying to keep the darkness at bay. He had already lost himself once, doing it right now where no one could control him would be a big mistake.

The Kobold didn’t speak.

Lucas clicked his tongue in annoyance and moved both his swords vertically piercing the creature’s thigh too. The leg didn’t come out yet it was still pretty damaged.

"TELL ME" Lucas said in an even more dominating voice making the Kobold shriek more.

*"I-I will tell you!!"* The Kobold said while trying to get the swords out of its thighs.

Lucas clicked his tongue one more time and moved the swords to the left with strength making the skin tear even more.

The Kobold for some reason was delighted that the human and it could talk, the Kobold felt that it could reason with the human.

A small smile formed on his face while Lucas stared at the Kobold.

The two swords got out of the thigh while the Kobold made some distance to some tree.

"Leave and bring those bitches to me… See how I slaughter them all in front of you. Always remember, I know where you are." Lucas said while leaving back to the group that was a bit far now.

The Kobold looked at the situation of its body and couldn’t help but get the support of the tree trunk.

It saw the human leave without looking back a single time.

The predators that had thought nothing could be above them until now due to their strengths, speed, and numbers were now sitting near a tree with a battered body and dead brothers.

Soon, even the human could not be seen anymore and the Kobold willed its body to move, it did not have the strength yet it took its hand in its mouth and started dragging its body toward the place.

A man was just a few meters behind it staring yet the Kobold could not feel it as the man was not in the real world per se.

Bill had conflicted feelings, while he wanted to kill the creature to not bring more danger to the territory. Lucas had already noticed him near him and had said nothing.

Bill did not want to get on his bad side so killing the Kobold was a bad idea.

But following it back to its base was a rather good idea.
