Sure enough, after Raining on Aoni's parade and bringing him back to reality, the Lad found the truth in Nyria's words and the error in his over-excitement, a trait that Glacia had unknowingly gotten from him through the LoS.

---

Over an hour after concluding his second and potentially final multi-summon of the year, or at least in the case of Foliage Nodes, Aoni and his summons returned to the cavern and stumbled upon a few wolf-like monsters that had wandered into the area at some point during the raid.

Of course, what was a pack of wolves to the beast-mode furry missile, and upon making short work of the pack of seven monsters, cleaning them up and having a snack for a job well done, Glacia trotted along beside her Lord happily munching away on some jerky, while the other two were in the midst of a conversation.

{'Brother, how exactly are we supposed to get the mossy stuff stuck to the ceiling? Aren't plants meant to be in dirt or something?'} Nyria innocently asked.

"Well, that's a bit hard to explain…"

'Considering I haven't really put much thought into that lil topic, any ideas? Oh great, wise chat box of knowledge?'

…

Break it up into 1/8ths, hold it against the rock, and apply ground Energia Crystal dust to the Moss

'See, I knew you had it in you, look at that, simple and easy to follow instructions…except for oneee little problem, HOW DO I GET THE DUST!' Gritting his teeth and fighting back an eye twitch, Aoni exhaled sharply through his nose in a snort of sorts.

Bang shiny rock with harder rock, repeat the process till dust

'Okay, now I know you're just fucking with me because that is WAY too simple to work.' Rolling his eyes, Aoni stopped on what would eventually be a plot for a house and sat down before pulling out all four crates of moss and pushing one in front of Nyria as she landed beside him on the ground.

"Nyria, I need you to separate this into eight equal piles. Can you do that for me?" Keeping a careful eye on Glacia as she happily pranced and plopped down next to him while staring at the moss curiously, Aoni resisted the urge to shoo her away because there was ZERO chance he would afford miss-dagger-claws, an opportunity at destroying his beloved and hard-earned moss.

{'Sure thing, brother, eight piles. Do they have to be exactly the same?'}

"Nah, they can be a little different, but please try to keep them as equal as possible," Aoni said while pulling out his trusty stone bowl and a shiny 3-Star Monster Bone pestle he'd bought from Caster's.

---

For several minutes, while Nyria set about separating the moss using a combination of her feet and beak, Aoni went to work smashing up Energia Crystals. This task took a substantial amount of effort, considering the damn things were harder than expected.

'Oh yeahh just hit the shiny rock with a harder rock; you said that soooo casually as if these damn things aren't freaking made of metal or something,' Practically punching the Crystals given how hard he was slamming the bone pestle into the bowl, Aoni complained.

Given the tools at the Host's disposal, along with their Attack stat, this task is relatively easy given they use the correct technique

'Che, imagine giving a guy a half-assed set of instructions that don't include a proper method to execute the required task. COULDN'T BE ME.'

…

…

*Blink Blink*

Turn the Energia Crystal on its side, with the most protruding edge skyward, then strike it at an exact 37-degree angle with a forward sweeping motion

'Huh…' As Aoni read the Attribute Notice's response, He was about to speak, but a second message appeared before he could.

Then, using your free hand, begin turning the Crystal counterclockwise while continuing the sweeping strikes; doing this will cause the edge to rapidly erode while breaking down its basic structure, allowing for a smooth transition into dust

'What the hell, why so much? I liked it better when I was supposed to hit the shiny rock with a different rock…' Placing the pestle into the bowl, Aoni pinched the brim of his nose and felt a headache setting in; however, before he allowed it to, the Lad simply did as he was advised and sure enough, it proved to be WAY more effective than the caveman style he was using before.

---

Thankfully, while Aoni was smashing Energia Crystals to dust, Nyria took it upon herself to move onto the second and then third crate of moss, separating it all into roughly equal portions, and by the time her Lord finished up crushing 10 Energia Crystals, she had completed separating all four crates.

Around 15 minutes later, Aoni found himself hanging by a stalactite, with Nyria hovering right beside him.

"Alright, that's great; just hold it right there so I can sprinkle some of this dust on the moss." He said with a bit of strain in his voice.

Honestly, securing the moss to the ceiling may not have been his brightest idea, considering he was now hundreds of feet in the air, directly above the center of the lake, clutching a stone finger from the sky and stretching as far as possible to throw dust like it was pocket sand at the moss his birb was pressing against the stone ceiling.

It took some time to figure out a suitable method, but eventually, the two worked together to paint the ceiling light blue.

Mind you, with only enough to cover a little over an 8x8 square foot space, it didn't seem like much, but when Aoni placed his hand against the ceiling moss carpet, he was amazed to find it was now counted as a singular object, versus four.

Not only that but its size was now listed in the description.

1: Tundrum Schistostega Pennata Sapling

Size: 8x8 Feet

Durability: UnRanked (→)

Grade: Gradeless (→)

Effect: N/A

"Great work, Nyria, you can head back down and take a break; I've got to…" pausing before saying the forbidden phrase, Aoni's eyes darted to the lake below, where he noticed Glacia splashing around in the water without a care in the world, then leaned closer and whispered…

"I've got to add points to it."

"GAO GAO!"

{'ADD PWOINTS!'}

"The Hell? Since when does she have Super hearing!" nearly falling from the stalactite he was clinging to, Aoni glared down below and found his cheeky floof beaming up at him happily.
