"Wow, this knowledge is incredible," Roy exclaimed with amazement. "I never imagined that alchemy could be so simplified if certain conditions are met."

The profound and extensive knowledge that had flooded Roy's mind was revealed the greatest secrets of alchemy to him.

He had learned the art of crafting powerful pills without the need for a cauldron, a feat that was considered impossible in the world of alchemy!

One crucial element that Roy needed to perform Divine Alchemy was the Magic Fire. That wasn't a problem as he could easily create and manipulate nine different types of magic fire without breaking a sweat, thanks to his exceptional fire control skill. However, Divine Alchemy was not just about creating that; it also demanded the cultivation of mental energy and the ability to master it. Only those with an open sea of consciousness could accomplish such feats.

Roy pondered the boundless possibilities that lay ahead of him, narrowing his eyes with determination. He believed that learning Divine Alchemy and becoming a Divine Alchemist was his best course of action. This way, he could easily refine alchemy pills and fulfill the promise he made to Delilah.

Despite the elusive path of Divine Alchemy being a feat that only a select few had ever achieved in the Thousand Great Worlds, Roy was determined to embark on this journey. Not to mention, it was not an impossible feat for Roy. After all, the payment that the Oblivion Overlord had made as a sign of his sincerity back in the Ashen Lands would provide him with the necessary resources to unlock his sea of consciousness and cultivate and control his mental energy.

'To unlock my sea of consciousness, I need to use the Pill of Profundity, which the Oblivion Overlord had graciously provided to me back in the ashen land when we established a partnership. However, I cannot take this process lightly, as it would leave me vulnerable. I need to be in a secure location before I can even dare to attempt it.:

Without a moment's hesitation, Roy vanished into the shadows, leaving the bystanders in a state of confusion and bewilderment.

"Undead hiding among us?! Seriously?!" someone from the crowd exclaimed in shock, their voice filled with disbelief.

"How could we have missed them all this time? And for how long have they been lurking in our county? Is it even safe to be in the streets?" another person chimed in, echoing the crowd's sentiments.

"I'm scared, even though the Divine Executioner killed many of them. Who knows how many more could be out there? What do we do now?" A beautiful woman asked in a panicked tone, her voice quivering with fear and uncertainty.

The murmurs of the crowd grew louder and more frantic with each passing moment until Count Constantine arrived on the scene, taking charge of the situation.

"Greetings, my dear citizens. I understand your concerns and fears, but I assure you that the situation is under control. The Divine Executioner, the third childe of the Baldwin Clan, has already taken care of all the undead creatures hiding among us. They have been completely eradicated, and there is no need to worry any longer." He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in before continuing, "I know this is a scary experience for all of us, but please rest assured that my guards and I will remain vigilant to ensure the safety of our county. If you see anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, please do not hesitate to inform us immediately. We will do everything in our power to protect our citizens and prevent any similar incidents from happening again."

The Count's reassuring tone and confident words had a calming effect on the crowd

"Count Constantine knows what he's doing, guys. Let's believe in him as we've always done." a voice from the crowd spoke up, nodding in agreement with the Count's words.

"I feel much better now that Our Lord and Saviour have reassured us," another person chimed in, their worry visibly dissipating.

"I trust the Count to keep us safe," someone else added, their tone filled with conviction. "He has never let us down before, and I believe he won't let us be harmed even in these times of hardship and uncertainty!"

The people of Constantine County revered their leader with a deep sense of reverence and devotion. Count Constantine's unwavering dedication to the welfare of the poor had earned him their unwavering loyalty and admiration. He was more than just a leader to them; he was a symbol of hope, a shining example of what a true leader should be. It was not uncommon to hear the people refer to him as their "Lord and Savior," for they truly believed that he had been sent by the gods to help them in their time of need. In the eyes of the people, Constantine County was not just a place to live; it was a sanctuary, a haven of peace and prosperity created by their beloved leader.

To the outside world, the people of Constantine County might have seemed like a bunch of fanatics who believed in their leader with blind faith. But to them, it was more than that. Count Constantine was not just a leader; he was a father figure, a friend, a confidante. He had earned their trust and loyalty through his actions, not just his words. When he spoke, they listened with rapt attention, knowing that his words carried weight and meaning. To the people of Constantine County, there was no doubt that their leader was the embodiment of all that was good and just in the world. And they were willing to follow him to the ends of the earth, no matter the cost.

"My dear citizens, please return to your homes. The evacuation alarm was used to lure the enemies out into the open. It had no other purpose."

"We understand, sire!"

Following the command of Count Constantine, the crowd slowly began to disperse, feeling a sense of relief that their leader had everything under control.

Arlo turned to Count Constantine and said, "I have to say, your leadership skills have vastly improved since the war."

The Count's reputation during the war was infamous for his harsh and unforgiving nature towards his soldiers, causing many to fear him and make more mistakes. But now, Arlo noticed a distinct lack of fear in the eyes of the people around them.

Count Constantine looked at Arlo, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "The war changed me, Arlo. I was a heartless man back then. But now, all that is left of me is an old man who wants to make the world a better place."

Arlo acknowledged Count Constantine's response with a nod of his head, impressed by the Count's ability to change and grow. Indeed, the difference between the man he had known during the war and the leader he saw before him now was like night and day. It was clear that Count Constantine had learned from his past mistakes and had become a kinder, more compassionate person in the process.

He watched as the people gathered in the square dispersed and said, "Your efforts to make the world a better place had not gone to waste. See. You've become the Lord and Savior of Constantine County."

"I have indeed."

They both chuckled lightly afterwards.
