Rick smiled as he felt a rush of power he had never felt before. "Let me show you what a real emperor looks like that doesn’t cheat but stays loyal to his one and only, the most beautiful empress in the entire ocean...!!!"

He pointed the Trident of New Tides at the water below them and yelled, "With this holy treasure of a trident...!"

"I summon you, New Leviathan!" in a voice that made reality bend. Hope’s Guardian! "RISEEEEEE UP...! And answer your Emperor’s call!"

The ocean floor shook, and a golden light burst out of the depths. A form began to rise, huge and snake-like, but instead of corruption, it gave off purity.

The New Leviathan came out in all its glory. Two hundred meters long, with scales that shone like polished gold mixed with ocean blue.

It didn’t have twenty corrupted heads, but it had seven pure ones, each one representing one of the Seven Major Powers that were united. Its eyes shone with intelligence and purpose instead of mindless hunger.

Seris was horrified to see the New Leviathan risen up next to Rick and Nerissa. "That’s not possible...!"

"You can’t just create a Guardian! It takes hundreds of years of magical research and the strength of two rulers working together!"

Rick said, "Well, no shit, congratulations," in a sarcastic voice.

"You just saw it happen anyway."

Nerissa’s voice joined his, and their power worked together perfectly. "Typhon and I made the first Guardians when we still loved each other and had the same goals for our kingdom’s future, but now..."

"Rick and I have made something better!"

"A Guardian who didn’t come from duty or a political alliance, but from real trust and respect for each other!"

"A Guardian that stands for hope instead of fear and domination!"

"FUCK ALL OF THAT! LEVIATHAN! ATTACK!!!" Seris screamed while pointing at the new Leviathan.

The corrupted Leviathan roared and charged at the New Leviathan, with all twenty of its heads attacking at once. Seris pushed more power through the Tidecaller Trident, trying to knock out the new guy with brute force.

But the New Leviathan fought back with skill and grace. The seven heads worked together perfectly, with each one fighting off more than one corrupted head at a time.

The corrupted Guardian relied on brute strength and numbers, while the New Leviathan used intelligence and strategy to win.

Golden energy and purple corruption fought, causing waves to ripple around the ocean for miles. The two Guardians engaged in a fierce battle, their massive bodies contorting and thrashing as if the world were on the verge of collapse.

"Carmilla, Natasha, Liora, Zara, and Myrissa!" Rick shouted to his partners. "Help the New Leviathan keep the corrupted one in check!"

"Don’t let it get in the way of what’s next!"

His four bonded partners and Myrissa moved right away, their bodies healed and their powers returned. They worked together perfectly with the New Leviathan, leaving no openings for the corrupted Guardian to take advantage of.

Carmilla aimed her sword strikes at the places where the corrupted heads and the main body met. Natasha’s ice magic froze each head in place, which gave the New Leviathan time to rip them off.

Liora’s divine purification burned away evil wherever it tried to come back to life. Zara’s demonic power tore through armor plating, weakening it.

Myrissa’s Kraken helped out more by using its tentacles to work with the heads of the New Leviathan.

The corrupted Leviathan was losing ground against forces it couldn’t match.

And that meant Rick and Nerissa could take care of Typhon and Seris.

Rick let go of Nerissa’s waist and got ready to fight, holding the Trident of New Tides in both hands. "Nerissa, which asshole do you want to kick its ass?"

"Seris," Nerissa said right away, her voice cold with rage. "That bitch seduced my husband, had seventeen kids in secret, and helped ruin everything I worked for."

"She’s my prey."

Rick said, "Alright... that works for me."

"I’ll take care of the asshole who couldn’t tell his wife the truth for 200 years."

"And of course... I’m going to enjoy this opportunity so fucking much to kick someone who didn’t appreciate an empress as sexy and hot as you!" Rick said that with his mouth, not minding that Nerissa clearly heard it.

Nerissa blushed right away. "O-Oh... thank you..."

"FUUCCCKKK!!!" Rick screamed in his mind and clarified. "I-I’m sorry...! That’s my mind that’s taking over my mouth!"

"It’s alright..." Nerissa then came back to her focus. "Let’s do it, my emperor..."

"Yes, my empress."

Typhon’s corrupted form got tense as Rick got closer. "You’re wrong, boy..."

"I have fought for eight hundred years, but you?! How long have you been in this world? A few months?"

"Yeah," Rick said, and his smile was wild. "But I have something you don’t."

"And what is that?"

Rick activated every combat skill he possessed simultaneously. Blood Price sacrificed health for power.

Draconic Sovereignty amplified his attributes when protecting others. Demon Queen’s Wrath channeled demonic destruction.

Ocean’s Hope boosted everything by fifty percent in this environment.

His body starts transforming as scales grow on his skin, wings grow on his back, and horns grow from his head. He was a mix of a demon, a dragon, and an ocean emperor, and his power made the water around him boil.

Rick said, "I have a reason to fight that isn’t selfish bullshit."

"I’m fighting for the woman you hurt and for the kingdom you left behind...!"

"And it’s all for the three hundred kids whose lives you ruined when you betrayed their mother and turned her into a hollow shell...!!!"

"I’LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT, ASSHOLE...!!!" Rick screamed, full of rage.

Rick launched himself at Typhon with a speed that was impossible to explain. The Trident of New Tides hit the Emperor Consort’s chest hard enough to send him flying back through the water and into the wreckage of a building that had fallen down.

Rick kept going, saying, "I’M FIGHTING FOR NERISSA...!"

"The real Nerissa, the one who loved her children and cared about those kelp forests!"

"And you, asshole, lied to the Empress for two hundred years and killed her on the inside!"

Typhon tried to fight back with water magic that was stronger because of corruption. He made whirlpools and pressure waves that were supposed to crush Rick’s body, but Ocean’s Hope gave Rick complete control over the ocean, and when the attacks hit him, they just went away.

Rick’s trident hit Typhon again, this time breaking his ribs. "Do you know what I saw while I was out cold in the Leviathan’s stomach!?"

"I saw memories of Nerissa...! And it’s every memory that’s important for her!"

"The good ones were when she was happy, smart, and making something beautiful with you!"

Another hit came through, this time across Typhon’s face, breaking his jaw. "And then I saw the moment she learned of your betrayal...!"

"I watched her face as everything she knew fell apart, and I felt the pain that made her kill so many people...!"

Rick grabbed Typhon by the throat and threw him down on the plaza floor with enough force to make a crater. "I saw her kill seventeen innocent children and feel nothing because she had already emotionally shut down to cope with the pain you caused her."

Typhon tried to talk, but his jaw was too broken to let him. The purple corruption swirled around his body, trying to fix the damage, but Rick’s golden trident burned it away faster than it could heal.

"Do you want to know the WORST part...? Rick leaned in close and whispered in a deadly tone.

"She still loved you..."

"Even after everything, even after learning about Seris and the secret family, she still wanted to believe that there was a reason!"

"That this was all a mistake in some way...!"

"And you fucking destroyed that hope with your own bullshit words. ’I wanted something that was mine alone.’ As if three hundred children and seven hundred years of partnership meant nothing compared to your desire for novelty...!"

Rick held up the Trident of New Tides, which was full of pure energy and anger. "This IS for all the tears Nerissa cried by herself in her room...!"

"Because of your stupid fucking betrayal, she was unable to love and pushed away every child."
