The darkness moved as if it were a living being, slithering across the ground and walls like it was breathing. Then, Batman emerged from it—not as if he had been hiding in the shadows, but as if he was part of them.
He stood there, tall, menacing, his white eyes glowing in the darkness. Then, in his deep voice, the voice that had made half the criminals in Gotham reconsider their life choices, he said:
"Leave."
It was just one word, but its weight was enough for everyone to feel it... everyone except Blade.
Blade stood there, hands on his hips, then let out a mocking laugh from beneath his black-and-purple mask.
"Ooooooh, woooow! You just crawled out of the shadows like a goddamn horror movie monster! So scary, Batman! I mean, if I were anyone else, I'd probably piss myself right now!"
He paused for a moment, looked down, then quickly looked back up and added:
"Don't worry, that didn't happen! ...Yet."
Robin put a hand over his face. Cyborg sighed. Beast Boy was about to collapse from laughter. Starfire just looked confused, trying to figure out if this was some sort of human battle ritual. As for Raven? She acted like she didn't care, but her eyes were locked onto the scene.
And Batman?
He didn't move.
He didn't flinch. He didn't breathe loudly. He just stood there, cloaked in darkness, like a statue carved out of silent terror.
But that didn't stop Blade.
He pointed a finger at Batman and said with arrogant confidence:
"Alright, Mister Ultimate Planner, listen up. I'm here for one reason and one reason only—to beat your ass in front of everyone and finally put an end to this whole 'unbeatable Batman' myth! ...Also, I got bored! And when was the last time you heard of a good fight without some laughs?"
He took a step closer, then whispered just loud enough for everyone to hear:
"By the way, just a quick question... how do you do that? Like, seriously, do you have some secret ninja training that lets you merge with the darkness, or is that just a free perk that comes with the 'Richest Man in Town' membership?"
Batman lifted his head slightly, and finally... spoke again.
"You have no idea what you've just walked into."
Blade chuckled, then pointed at the Titans and said:
"Oh, don't worry, they already told me all about you. The ultimate planner, always three steps ahead, probably even has a backup plan in case your underwear doesn't match that—" he looked Batman up and down "—fancy little suit of yours. Hell, I bet you even have a contingency plan for this exact moment... maybe even a script for what I'll say five minutes from now!"
He grinned under his mask.
"But guess what? Even I don't know what I'll say five minutes from now! So good luck planning around that, Mister Wayne!"
Batman didn't move. His face remained expressionless.
But then, in a voice so calm it made the tension in the air almost unbearable, he said:
"Alright... let's see what you've got."
And in an instant—he vanished back into the darkness!
Blade's eyes widened slightly before a grin formed beneath his mask. He glanced around and said:
"Oooooh, we're doing the horror movie tricks now, huh? Alright, that's cool... just don't jump me from behind, Batsy, I have a severe allergy to surprise attacks!"
Then he got into a ready stance, winking at the reader once again.
"I bet none of you placed your bets on me yet, huh? Cowards!"
Batman didn't waste a second—BOOM! His first punch came like a lightning strike, smashing into Blade's face hard enough to snap his head back slightly.
Blade let out a short laugh, wiping his nose.
"Ohhh, is that all you got?! Pretty sure my mom hit me harder than that when I was a kid!"
Batman didn't respond. He didn't need to.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Punches, strikes, tactical movements—Batman was a machine, hitting Blade in precise weak points, every attack calculated to perfection.
But Blade?
He didn't give a damn about the pain.
Every time a punch landed, every time a hit connected, he threw out another sarcastic remark, like the whole thing was just some big joke to him.
"Ooooh, that one almost made me feel something!"
"Was that a special move, or just 'The Very Basic Bat-Punch™'?"
"Did you learn this from the old monk, or is Alfred secretly your sensei?"
But while Blade was cracking jokes and acting like a total clown, his mind was working like a supercomputer with a next-gen processor.
Every punch.
Every movement.
Every step.
He was studying them, analyzing them, breaking them down like he was deciphering a complex combat code. His eyes tracked Batman's hands and feet with razor-sharp focus.
And then... something changed.
When Batman threw another punch—Blade dodged it. Effortlessly.
Then another—he slipped past it.
A lightning-fast kick—Blade bent his body like he saw it coming before it even happened!
Batman's eyes narrowed slightly.
He knew Blade wasn't fighting seriously at first, but he hadn't expected him to adapt this fast.
Now, Blade wasn't just some guy taking hits and cracking jokes... Now, he was reading Batman's movements like an open book.
And so, Batman did what he always did when facing an opponent who could adapt to his style...
He changed his strategy entirely.
No more direct attacks—he switched to deception, misdirection, and tactical traps.
Smoke bombs. Grappling hooks to change positions rapidly. Strikes coming from unpredictable angles.
But Blade?
He just laughed.
"Ooooh, yeah, here we go! We've entered 'Smart Bastard Combat Mode,' huh?!"
"Alright, Batsy, let's see who comes out on top!"
And with those words... Round Two began.
-----------------------
As the fight between Batman and Blade intensified, Hal Jordan—one of the top Green Lanterns and a member of the Justice League—was flying over Gotham on patrol.
His trained eyes quickly caught sight of the scene below—Batman, locked in combat with someone unfamiliar.
He raised an eyebrow.
"Wait... who the hell is that?!"
Batman wasn't known for wasting time on pointless fights, especially in Gotham. If he was going all-out against someone, that meant they weren't just some random troublemaker.
Without hesitation, Hal pressed his communicator and opened the Justice League's private channel.
"This is Green Lantern. I'm over Gotham, and I see Batman fighting an unknown opponent—I've never seen this guy before. He's fast, dodging Batman's attacks like he's reading them in advance. We might have a problem here."
It only took seconds before the responses rolled in.
Superman: "Batman rarely asks for help, but if someone can keep up with him in a fight, we should be there."
Wonder Woman: "If this is a new threat, I'm not letting it go unchecked."
Flash: "Okay, I'll be there before you even finish your sente—" BOOOF! ...Gone.
Aquaman: "Alright, I was in the middle of something, but fine, I'm coming."
Martian Manhunter: "I will join you."
Within minutes, the most powerful team of heroes on Earth was racing toward Wayne Plaza, where the fight was still raging... and now, Blade wasn't just facing Batman—he might soon be up against the entire Justice League!
----------------
The battle was getting more intense.
Batman, the master strategist, wasn't relying on brute force alone. He had shifted to psychological warfare, using visual trickery and mind games to throw Blade off balance.
Smoke bombs erupted in the air. False footsteps echoed in the darkness. Batman's shadows moved in unnatural ways, making it nearly impossible to predict his real position.
But Blade?
He was grinning.
"Ooooh, wow, we've entered 'Elite Ninja Stealth Mode,' huh?! Man, I thought I was in a fight, but apparently, I accidentally logged into a psychological horror game!"
A flicker in the darkness—Batman suddenly emerged from behind, throwing a lightning-fast punch straight at Blade's head!
But Blade twisted to the side, dodging at the last second, then spun in midair—his own fist flying toward Batman!
"BOOM!!!"
A direct hit to the face!
The punch was faster than Batman had anticipated—it landed hard, making him stagger backward, his foot sliding slightly on the ground!
Blade put his hands on his hips and let out a loud laugh.
"Oooooh, hold up! Did that actually just happen?! Did I seriously just punch the Batman?! Wait, give me a second, I need to document this in my personal records!"
Then, from his back pocket, he pulled out a small notebook and a pen, scribbling dramatically while mumbling in an exaggerated voice:
"Today, at exactly 12:30 AM, in the dark and spooky Wayne Plaza, I landed a punch on Batman's face. And I think he actually felt it! Signed: The brilliant and ridiculously handsome Blade."
He looked up with a wide grin.
"So, Batsy, how often does this happen? I mean, seriously, does anyone else actually take my punches like that?! 'Cause normally, I don't have to hit people twice, but you... you're a special case!"
But while Blade was laughing and gloating as usual...
Batman moved.
He adjusted his stance instantly, his balance restored, and locked his eyes onto Blade—cold, unreadable.
Then, in a voice so low and menacing it could freeze the air, he said:
"You just made a mistake."
Blade's laughter paused for a second. Then, he glanced at the reader and said:
"Well, that didn't sound like a happy man... did it?"
And with that... the fight resumed.
But this time, Batman wasn't playing anymore.
Blade stood there, his mask partially torn, revealing a completely blind left eye and some of his messy black hair.
He raised a hand, touched the ripped edge of his mask, then smirked.
"Ooooh, look at this! Now I've got that 'mysterious warrior with scars' look! Do I get a tragic backstory too? Or am I just some second-rate movie villain?!"
But before he could throw out another joke...
Powerful figures descended from the sky, others appeared in a blur of speed, and some simply emerged from nowhere.
The Justice League had arrived.
Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter... they were all there.

Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) raised an eyebrow and said, "So this is the guy giving you all this trouble, Bats? He looks... unimpressive."
But before anyone could step in, Batman raised a hand and spoke firmly.
"Stand down. This is personal. No one interferes."
Everyone exchanged surprised glances.
Superman: "Are you sure? This guy isn't your average thug, Batman."
Batman (without taking his eyes off Blade): "I said, no one interferes."
Blade grinned, raising his hands innocently.
"Ooooh, Batsy! I'm so touched! Does this mean we're best friends now?! Are we grabbing coffee after this?! Am I getting an invite to your next birthday party?!"
But Batman wasn't joking.
This fight had become personal.
And now, Blade knew things were about to get really interesting...
