As Raven walked beside him, she glanced at him from the corner of her eye and spoke in a calm but slightly concerned voice:
"Where have you been? Everyone's worried about you."
Blade gave his usual smile—the kind that made it impossible to tell if he was serious or joking—then placed his hands behind his head and said in an exaggerated tone:
"Oh, nothing important. Just a lovely evening stroll where I rode on top of Batman's car, punched Joker in the face, got riddled with bullets, crashed into a stolen taxi, climbed dozens of floors using the stairs, stopped an evil plan to poison the city, and then was forced to take the express route down thanks to someone blowing up the elevator... Oh, and after all that, you decided I didn't deserve a dramatic fall, so here I am, with a mild bruise to my personal ego."
Raven stopped for a moment, looked at him silently, then raised an eyebrow and said in a calm but understanding tone:
"So... you were busy saving the city."
Blade pointed at her like a kid caught red-handed and said with a wink:
"See? That's why you're my favorite. While everyone else would be like 'Why didn't you use the comms?' or 'Why didn't you tell us your plan?' or 'Can you stop acting like a chaotic jester?', you just get it."
Raven sighed, but for a fleeting moment, a tiny smile appeared on her lips before she quickly hid it again. She turned and said in a quiet voice:
"Come on, before the others decide to strangle you out of worry."
Blade followed her with a triumphant grin, then whispered to himself while looking at the reader:
"You saw that, right? She smiled. Another victory for Mr. Blade!"
As they walked, Raven looked at Blade seriously and spoke in a calm yet firm voice:
"You know, your actions might seem funny to you, but they could lead to serious misunderstandings. Not everyone sees things the way you do."
Blade, strolling beside her casually, rolled his eyes and raised his hands dramatically:
"Ohhh, here we go, the classic 'your recklessness will be your downfall' lecture. Listen, Rave, life is short—even for someone with my regeneration. Why not make it a little more fun?"
Raven suddenly stopped, making him pause as well, then looked at him directly with greater seriousness:
"It's not just about you. Others are watching you, paying attention to how you act. And if you keep presenting yourself this way, they'll just see you as some reckless wildcard with no sense of responsibility."
Blade smirked, then leaned in slightly and lowered his voice, laced with confidence:
"Ah, but that's the trick, darling. When everyone thinks you're just an unpredictable fool... they fail to see what you're really planning."
Raven didn't reply immediately, simply staring at him for a moment as if analyzing his words. Then she let out a quiet breath and spoke in a softer tone:
"Just... don't let that be the reason you lose the people who care about you."
Blade froze for a brief second, as if her words had struck something deep inside him. But he quickly masked it with a smirk and walked beside her again, saying playfully:
"Was that a hint that you care about me? Because I'd call that some solid progress in our relationship!"
Without looking at him, Raven simply raised her hand and gently tapped his head with a small pulse of energy, making him stumble slightly as he laughed. She then said in a quiet voice:
"Idiot... of course I care. You're part of the family."
Blade smiled as he walked beside her in silence.
Some time later...
Blade sat on his bed, his back resting against the wall, his eyes fixed on the weapon-dedicated wall. The dim lighting in the room cast long shadows over the organized chaos that made up his personal arsenal—swords, guns, daggers, and even some strange tools of unknown origin. Every weapon here carried a story, a memory, a moment from his chaotic past.
But there was an empty space, a spot reserved for something new.
Slowly, Blade pulled Joker's weapon from his pocket—a purple gun with a chaotic design, decorated with gold paint on the trigger and the word "BANG!" etched on the side in an uneven font, as if it had been carved by someone laughing hysterically while doing it. He turned it between his fingers, then smirked slightly, as if an idea had crossed his mind.
He stood up from his bed and walked toward the wall, his fingers trailing over the weapons one by one until he reached the empty space, where his personal invisibility watch hung alone. He stared at it for a moment, then, without hesitation, placed Joker's gun beside it.
Stepping back, he gazed at the wall as if rearranging his thoughts. This was more than just another addition to his collection—it was a symbol. Proof that he was starting to leave his mark here, in this new world. Something tangible that proved he wasn't just a passing shadow.
He let out a small sigh, then smirked sideways before murmuring to himself with amusement:
"Look at me, starting to collect trophies like Batman... What's next? A secret cave?"
Then, without overthinking it, he turned back to his bed, lying down with his arms behind his head, staring at the ceiling. For the first time in a while, he felt like he wasn't just running aimlessly—he was actually accomplishing something.
Blade chuckled as he lay there, eyes still on the ceiling, before sarcastically saying:
"Who would've thought crashing a taxi would actually benefit me? I mean, sure, the driver probably isn't too happy... but at least I got a free ride and added a new piece to my personal museum. Solid deal, right?"
He laughed to himself before rolling onto his side, muttering under his breath as if addressing the reader:
"Of course, the writer won't let me enjoy this moment... He'll find a way to drag me into something new soon enough... But hey, at least I'll be ready... Or I won't, which makes it even more fun!"
Smirking to himself, he closed his eyes, savoring the small victory—no matter how minor it was.
Later that night, after the Titans had all fallen asleep...
Blade awoke and made his way to Arkham Asylum.
Seated on an overturned chair in front of Joker's cell, Blade stared at him with one eye while the other—his blind one—seemed to gaze into nothingness.
Joker, with his cracked makeup and permanent grin, tilted his head curiously before speaking in his irritatingly cheerful voice:
"If you came all the way to my little cozy home, you must need something, right? And Joker doesn't work for free, my friend."
Blade smirked beneath his black-and-purple mask, stretched his legs forward, clasped his fingers together, and spoke in a calm yet playfully sarcastic tone:
"Alright, straight to business, if we must be clear... I need about five kilograms of green kryptonite."
Silence filled the room for a moment, then the Joker burst into loud laughter, clapping his hands excitedly as if he had just heard the best joke of his life. He wiped away an imaginary tear from his eye, took a deep breath, then leaned forward and stared at Blade with his crazed eyes.
"Kryptonite, huh? What are you planning, mysterious boy? Don't tell me you're throwing Superman a surprise party? Because, oh boy, that would be hilarious!"
Blade tilted his head slightly, as if considering the idea, then raised a finger as if he had just made a groundbreaking discovery.
"Actually... the party idea isn't half bad. But no, that's not the reason. Let's just say I like to be prepared for all possibilities. As you know, in the world of superheroes, there's always a need for a little insurance."
The Joker stared at him for a long moment, then smirked his usual wicked grin and spoke in a low voice.
"Well, well... maybe I can help. But in return, I have a small request of my own, masked man."
Blade smirked, leaning back as he replied with mock amusement.
"Oh, I knew you were going to say that. Alright then, Prince of Crime... let's hear what you've got."
Blade stood in front of Joker's cell, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. The Joker raised an eyebrow, his grin widening as he said:
"Well, pal, if you want Kryptonite, you're gonna have to break me out of here. Because, you see, I can't exactly run my business from inside this lovely little cage."

Blade tilted his head, as if considering it, then suddenly clapped his hands together and said with a smirk:
"Oh, what a coincidence! I also want to get you out. But not because I like you—just because I'm curious to see how useless the guards here can really be."
Then, in an instant, Blade vanished from sight.
Only a few seconds passed before a faint click was heard, and the Joker's cell door creaked open. The Joker tilted his head to the side, staring in surprise.
No alarms. No flashing red lights. No guards rushing down the halls.
"Oh, boy, you're good... really good! I didn't even hear the tiniest peep!"
Blade smirked, raising his hand and blowing on it as if dusting it off.
"You know, that's kind of you. I've always told myself I should be quieter. But for now, let's get out of here before someone finally decides to do their job."
The two of them moved through the hallways like ghosts. Blade walked with quiet, casual steps, as if taking a midnight stroll, while the Joker practically skipped between the corridors, thoroughly enjoying his newfound freedom.
Even the security cameras failed to pick up their movements, as if they had never been there at all.
When they reached the back exit, Blade stopped, took a quick glance around, then opened the door and gestured for the Joker to step out.
"Here we are, you crazy clown. The nearest place where you can test your freedom. Now, about that Kryptonite we discussed?"
The Joker turned to him, then suddenly burst into laughter, throwing an arm around Blade's shoulder.
"Oh, dear Blade... I think I'm really starting to like you!"
