Limitless Summoner: Rise of the Soul God-Chapter 147: Not them
A heavy silence fell over the gathered students.
That meant the person breaking these records wasn't some high-ranking adventurer or academy professor. It was someone still in the F-rank bracket—someone who, by all logic, shouldn't be able to shatter these records.
A level 25 or under, with solo clear times that outpaced teams of the best and brightest in the academies?
That was impossible.
And yet, it was happening right in front of them.
Whispers turned to excited chatter as theories were tossed around.
"Maybe it's some unknown prodigy from one of the smaller academies?"
"Could be someone who just never revealed their skill before…"
"Or a monster in disguise."
The last comment sent a shiver down some spines. Because the truth was, no one knew who this person was. No name. No guild. No affiliation.
Just "Unknown."
But there was one thing they did know—whoever this was, they weren't just strong. They were something else entirely.
And that realization sent ripples of unease across the room. The mysterious solo player quickly became the hottest topic in the entire Dungeon Hall.
Meanwhile, Ethan had no idea that his "casual grinding session" was turning the entire academy world upside down.
He was too busy pushing forward.
The last dungeon had drained him, but he was too close to breaking through to stop now. The invisible cap that held him and his minions at level 25 wasn't some simple roadblock. It was a test.
One final push, one more dungeon, and he'd force his evolution.
Lia, standing beside him, had already completed hers, though she hadn't shown any drastic changes—her mana felt more refined, her presence sharper. She was still adjusting.

Luna? Well, Luna was still Luna. She had already outpaced all of them without breaking a sweat.
"Big brother, big brother!" She skipped up to him with a big smile. "One more dungeon! Let's gooo!"
Ethan sighed. "You never run out of energy, do you?"
"Nope!" She grinned, rocking on her heels.
Lia let out a tired chuckle. "I don't think she even understands the concept of exhaustion."
Ethan smirked. "Yeah, well, let's see how excited you are when we challenge an Elite Dungeon."
Luna froze.
Her eyes sparkled.
"Elite Dungeon?! Like, super strong monsters?!"
Ethan stretched his arms, cracking his neck. "That's right. Soon, we will be moving to the real deal. Only three more blue portals left." He was definitely going to evolve before that and finally get that roadblock out of the way.
He was now level 25 in both his mage class and his summoner class, and it turned out he was able to command 5 minions for each level and, in total, a whopping number of 250 minions.
Ethan still couldn't believe the number. That number was absurd. It was beyond anything he had ever seen. He had seen other summoners parading their beasts around in the grand dungeon hall. At most, they were able to command four or five beasts.
And yet, he could summon an army.
Ethan decided not to think about it too much. Right now, it felt like he was drowning. He couldn't touch or control this overwhelming power at his fingertips. It was his and yet it was out of reach, but it was not always going to be like this.
One day, he would be in control of his class. That much he was sure of.
Ethan clenched his hands in determination as he walked over to the last remaining four blue portals. His goal was within his sight. Now, he just had to grab it.
The next dungeon unexpectedly turned out to be a little tricky, a dungeon full of poisonous creatures.
Ethan had to repeatedly cast a mana barrier for his minions as they cleaned up the dungeon. It was a lot more time-consuming than he had hoped it would be. By the time the three of them cleared it, everyone was once again tired to the bones.
But hey, ten more minions hit level 25 inside the dungeon, and Ethan decided that it was worth the effort. After taking down the last of the poisonous porcupines that simply loved to shoot their spines in every which direction, the three of them headed out.
"Stupid rules," Ethan grumbled under his breath.
Those freaking porcupines were too awesome. Yes, they were a pain in his ass, but they were amazing summons to have. Unfortunately, his roster was already full. If only he could release the damned worm that was now sitting at level 17 and grab that porcupine instead.
"Stupid fucking rules," Ethan grumbled as they walked out of the dungeon. He had barely taken a step out when a student blocked his way. "Stop right there."
Hmmm? Ethan raised a brow. "What happened?" He politely asked.
The student only took one look at the cheap magic pouches in Ethan's hand before deciding that it was not worth his time to give a response. Instead, the student turned and exchanged glances with someone else.
"Not them. Nothing changed." The other guy shouted.
"I guess you three entered the dungeon together. That should rule you out. Besides, there is no way someone like you could solo a dungeon." The student sneered as he spouted some bullshit before stepping aside and letting Ethan pass.
Ethan's eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't let the irritation show on his face. He wasn't in the mood to deal with arrogant academy students, and besides, wasting time arguing with them wouldn't accomplish anything. He simply shrugged and stepped past the student, Lia and Luna following close behind.
"Master, what was that all about?" Lia whispered.
Ethan shook it off. "Must be some academy politics. Who cares. Let's go to the next dungeon." He took one look around and saw that the grand hall was unusually crowded and active, especially the blue portal area, but he did not think too much about it. He just needed two more dungeons, and he would finally reach his goal and be ready to cross that first threshold.
