Little Tyrant Doesn’t Want to Meet with a Bad End-Chapter 634.2: What About Now? (2)
Chapter 634.2: What About Now? (2)
Roel felt peculiar when he opened his eyes once more.
His body, which had gone numb from having suffered too many injuries, had regained its senses, and the feeling of coldness and fear had vanished. He hadn’t regained much mana yet, but it was gradually replenishing.
Most importantly of all, the searing pain from the injuries he sustained from Carolyn was gone.
That released the huge boulder weighing down Roel’s chest, though his attention was quickly drawn to an itch on his chest.

He looked down and saw Alicia peacefully sleeping on top of him. This surprised him.
This was the first time since their reunion that she had taken the initiative to approach him. Furthermore, the fact that she had willingly slept in his arms showed that her trust in him had greatly deepened.
This was good news for him, as his goal was to bring Alicia back.
His mood lifted, and he caved in to the urge to stroke her smooth hair.
It could have been due to his movements or the change in his mana fluctuation, but Alicia’s eyelids fluttered a little before her eyes opened by a slit.
“Lord Brother…”
“My apologies, Alicia. Did I wake you up?”
“Not at all…” Alicia shook her head like a kitten that had just awoken from its nap. She looked at Roel’s face and suddenly said, “Lord Brother, kiss me.”
“Ah?” Roel was taken aback by Alicia’s request.
His eyes widened as her face slowly approached, but he quickly made up his mind.
Had it been in the past, he would have found an excuse to not engage in any intimacy with her, but his thoughts had changed after reading the letter. 𝑏𝑒𝘥𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝑙.𝘰𝑟𝑔
One of the reasons behind Alicia losing herself after awakening to the Black Moon was the gap in her heart. Roel finally understood that his continued rejections over seemingly small stuff had been a great source of frustration to her.
He didn’t think that the affection he harbored for Alicia back then was any less than it was now, but something that wasn’t properly expressed was as good as being nonexistent. Even a pair as close as Roel and Alicia couldn’t avoid misunderstandings arising from a lack of communication.
Thus, Roel took a deep breath before looking into Alicia’s dazed eyes to say, “Alicia, I love you.”
After a clear confession that left no room for misinterpretation, he leaned in and sealed her lips.
As their lips overlapped, Alicia quickly snapped out of her daze and regained her clarity. Everything that had just happened hit her hard, and she widened her eyes.
“L-lord Brother?”
“What’s wrong, Alicia?”
“W-w-what did you just say?”
“What did I just say? I said ‘I love you.’”
“!”
Alicia’s eyes widened yet again. Her breathing came to a halt, as she stared at Roel in utter disbelief. Slowly, her face started to flush.
“W-what’s with this all of a sudden, Lord Brother? You never said such words in the past…”
“Nothing much. I just saw your letter.”
“Letter? What letter? Wait…” Upon Roel’s prompt, Alicia clutched her forehead as she tried to trace her memories. Moments later, she slowly nodded. “I see. You saw that letter.”
“You remember it?”
“Mmhm… It might have been because of the shock you gave me, but I think I regained most of my memories.”
“That’s great!”
Roel was excited to hear that, as this would mean that his operation to rescue Alicia was a success. He looked at her still-blushing face and tightly hugged her.
An inexplicable thought suddenly surfaced in his mind: If my confession helped to jolt her memories, would she recover faster if I say it more?
Thus, Roel gently propped up Alicia’s chin until their eyes met before repeating his words again. “Alicia, I love you.”
“!”
Alicia was stunned like a deer before headlights. She blushed so furiously that the redness reached her ears. Seeing that, Roel couldn’t resist the urge to give it another go.
“Alicia, I love you.”
“W-wait! Lord Brother, what are you doing? Are you bullying me now?”
“Alicia, I love you.”
“Stop, L-lord Brother! Stop saying it! I get it now…”
“Alicia, I love you.”
“AHHHH!”
Under Roel’s relentless assault, Alicia finally unleashed an adorable scream before hurriedly covering her ears. Looking at her burning ears, Roel felt light-headed.
Alicia is too adorable!
He reached out and tightly embraced the woman before him once more, taking a huge dose of Aliciatonin while he was at it. It had been a while since he last felt this energized.
On the other hand, Alicia transformed into an ostrich, refusing to raise her head at all. It took a long time before she finally released her hands from her ears, but her face remained as red as an apple.
Roel dotingly caressed her cheek as he felt boundless affection pouring out from within.
But as his excitement died down, he remembered that there were still a few more matters he had to resolve, and his expression turned serious.
“Alicia, allow me to apologize to you.”
“Apologize?”
“That’s right. After reading the letter, I realized that I have caused you many frustrations over the years. I should apologize for that.”
“…Frustrations?” Alicia took a good look at Roel before continuing with a soft sigh, “Yes, it has been frustrating. You’d always back down at the critical moment, leaving me at a loss of what to do.”
“I’m sorry; it’s my fault. I’ll never make such a mistake again. I hope that you can forgive me.”
“Forgive you…”
Alicia could feel her dissatisfaction dissipating at Roel’s apology, and she was about to give an affirmative response when her eyes suddenly fell on his bare upper body. Her eyes gleamed as an idea came to her mind.
“Lord Brother, may I know the reason you rejected me in the past?”
“The reason… I’d say the biggest reason is your age,” Roel honestly replied.
That was indeed his greatest concern back then. While the Sia Continent’s culture was different, he still couldn’t bring himself to have intimate ties with someone underaged.
He failed to notice the gleeful smile emerging on Alicia’s lips, though she quickly concealed it.
Alicia wrapped her hand around Roel’s neck before she slowly raised her head and looked at him with predatory eyes. She softly breathed out on his neck before asking, “What about now?”
