"Do you believe I'll throw you into the lake to drown?"

Suddenly a voice came from behind, startling Yun Qinglian so much that she almost jumped. Turning her head quickly, she saw Qin Yi glaring at her with a dark face, gritting his teeth.

Qin Yi glared at her, "Can't you, woman, wish me any good?"

"You've been down there for so long without any sign, anyone would be worried!" Yun Qinglian retorted with an aggrieved look, then asked, "So, did you find the Iron Armor Fiery Centipede? How did you appear behind me?"

Qin Yi replied irritably, "Yun Qinglian, you big idiot, you missed a golden opportunity."

"What do you mean?" Yun Qinglian asked, puzzled.

"The Iron Armor Fiery Centipede did go underwater, but there's a tunnel at the bottom of the lake leading straight to the cliff. If you had bet with me earlier, wouldn't two Heavenly Thunder Fruits be yours now?"

Yun Qinglian was taken aback, then sneered, "Come on! Though we haven't known each other long, I know you well enough. You're so shameless; even if I won, you'd never give me the Heavenly Thunder Fruit. I'd be grateful just to get the one that's mine."

Qin Yi: "..."

"Hey, do you have any conscience? I risked my life for you, and yet you think of me this way."

Yun Qinglian laughed, "The truth is hard to accept. Though you're full of faults, don't worry, I'll always see you as a friend and never abandon you."

Qin Yi: "..."

"Thank you, and your whole family."

"You're welcome."

Qin Yi: "..."

Yun Qinglian changed the subject, "Did you find the Iron Armor Fiery Centipede after you chased it?"

Qin Yi lowered his head in dejection and explained what he had discovered.

Yun Qinglian was astonished, "This is really bizarre; the Iron Armor Fiery Centipede can't fly. Qin Yi, do you think we might have pursued the wrong thing?"

"We've been following the traces the entire time; how could we be wrong?"

"That's not what I mean. Maybe it wasn't the Iron Armor Fiery Centipede that ate Zhu Lao Liu and his men."

Qin Yi rolled his eyes, "Even if I'm dumb, I'd recognize an Iron Armor Fiery Centipede, wouldn't I?"

"But you fainted at that time; could you have seen it wrong?"
