Just as the man was about to pull back and change his attack, Xu Yunfan reacted with astonishing speed. His hand shot out like lightning, clamping down on the man’s wrist with unerring precision.

In that instant, Xu Yunfan sank into his stance. His muscles coiled like a tightly drawn bowstring, bulging in a flash and pulling his loose-fitting clothes taut. The sleeve of the arm gripping the man’s wrist was stretched so tight it looked like part of a skintight garment.
