"...Shit.... How many casualties?" – asked the beastman general, Oranox Bearmight as he gazed through the window of the mansion he was inside, noticing the streets and the mansion garden filled with injured civilians and soldiers alike.

"Over 300 people, sir and more are coming this way.... We are expecting that number to possible even reach over 1 000 since we issued evacuation order." – replied human soldier.

"By the looks of things... Elves are aiming for the total extermination."

"Those who do not surrender are just killed on the spot."

"Fuck!" – shouted the bear beastman.

"They call themselves ’pure’ and ’nature lovers’, but they are just fucking murderers!"

"I know this is war, but these fuckers are intentionally going after the civilians!"

"..."

"What about our agents? Any words?" – asked the bear beastman as he tried calming himself.... But not completely as his claws were tearing off a bits of the wall.

"They have another report regarding the elves’ movement." – replied the human soldier.

"From what I’ve read, they said that the elves are planning on launching attack on this city during the night."

"And there was also some talk about monsters... However, our agents couldn’t get a solid detail about this part."

"Tch. So first they hunt the villagers that they know can’t even fight back and now target the city that shelters those who survived encounter with them!?" – said pissed off general.

"These bastards truly are pure savages."

(These shitty bastards declared war as soon as they found out that bastard Ash was dealt with and kingdom was restored to its rightful owners.)

(No talk or even attempts.)

(They instantly took up their weapons and are now aiming to kill us all.)

(Honestly, the only upside is that the elves are weak. These lazy asses have been not doing anything for ages and only recently started thought about getting stronger.... Still, our kingdom is beyond exhausted.)

(We may had managed to completely eradicate that bastard Ash faction in the matter of days, but because of how poorly his faction ruled the kingdom, our people were straight up tortured.... And now without even being given a moment of rest, they are now forced into yet another war.)

(The economic and financial situation isn’t doing great either.)

(Not only that, we don’t know what our other neighbors think.... We couldn’t really look into them, since we had our hands already full with Ash and elves.... So honestly speaking, at any moment things could go from ’bad’ to ’nightmarish’ at moment notice.)

"Still, thanks to that stupid king of their looking down on everybody, it was quiet easy to outsmart him.... However, we need to find out who can think amongst these shitty elves and get rid of them."

"This will be our main objective."

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN YOUR ENTIRE SQUAD WAS EXTERMINATED!?" – shouted the elf in silver golden armor as he lifted up a young elf by his neck.

"P-please! Sir! I can explain!" – said the panicking young elf.

"Explain what!? That you got your entire squad annihilated by the bunch of beasts!? And not even an army!? Do you really think that any explanations you make up with do it?!" – shouted the pissed off elf in shiny armor as he threw away the elf.

"Get out! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SIGHT! YOU FUCKING FAILURE!" – shouted the elf in shiny armor as he kicked out the room.

"Fucking shit!"

(A group of elite soldiers were ambushed and taken down with ease by the bunch of beasts?! How incompetent are these bastards are to let that happened!?)

(Although.... This isn’t the first time is has happened.)

(These bastards from Garmfon kingdom are somehow able to ambush our soldiers over and over again?)

(Honestly, this last attack doesn’t make any sense, since there weren’t any good spots to...Wait.)

(If there weren’t any good spots to set up the ambush beforehand, how did it.....)

(No! This doesn’t make sense! I recently came up with this tactic! So.... Traitors!? We have traitor amongst our mists?!)

Upon their successful revolution, the Garmfon kingdom not only had dethroned the traitorous duke Ash, but have also completely eradicated his entire faction, freeing the kingdom of Garmfon from corruption and oppression.

But unfortunately for them, the peace did not lasted even for a moment.

Why?

The elven kingdom of Mowiorano declared war on them.

Fearing Garmfon kingdom retribution, the elven kingdom of Mowiorano had decided to get rid of Garmfon kingdom, before their neighbors could seek revenge after what the elves did by giving their support to the traitorous duke.

Without hesitation, the elves marched into the Garmfon kingdom, destroying anything in their path and aiming for the total dominance as well as destruction, aiming to completely eradicate the Garmfon kingdom and wipe its name off the map.

However, Garmfon kingdom saw the elves’ strategy coming and set up traps and ambushes, which ended up catching the elves off guard.

The Garmfon kingdom suspected from the start that the elves may end up attacking them, so just in case they set up their own preparations, which ended up not only wounding the elves, but also slowing them down long enough to let Garmfon kingdom soldiers to prepare for the war.

With that, the war between the two kingdoms started.... And how it is going right now?

It reached the form of a stalemate.

Either side are aiming for the total victory, knowing fully that the other side will not stop until their "enemy" is no more.

However so far neither side managed to conquer enough of the opposite side territory nor had dealt any form of extremely critical blow which could give the edge over their opponents.

But things started slowly changing as the corpse on both sides started pulling up. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

The elven kingdom thought that they could secure a quick victory thanks to the Garmfon kingdom being completely exhausted after all it went through.... However, they are now facing the reality which shows the Garmfon kingdom not only keep standing but also fighting back. Something that the elves did not expected one bit.

However, the exhaustion that the Garmfon kingdom had suffered was real and as the battle would progress, so would their exhaustion.

Both sides were getting nervous by the war and both of them were not only losing more soldiers with each passing day, but also were getting drained mentally.

And to make matters worse, there was no sights of the war ending anytime soon.

As for the dungeon master of the golem dungeon? It was also extremely bad news.

The fights caused by this war were consuming more and more territories belonging to the both kingdoms, including the Mevon territory where the dungeon was located.

Originally both sides were aiming to not be anywhere near the dungeon, since nobody wanted to deal with the monsters while already dealing with the war.... However, the chaos of the said war was consuming the territory where the dungeon was... And there were some activities done by both sides INSIDE of the forest where the golem dungeon was located.

However!

They knew that the dungeon had all of its monsters wiped out and that there was no way it could cause any sort of trouble anytime soon.... But it didn’t needed.

Why?

Because the owner of that dungeon was trying to reach a break through.

A breakthrough that would allow the dungeon itself evolve.

[Current location: Golem Dungeon – Thauma Workshop]

(Okay... This is the fifth one.) – thought Thauma as it stared at the sphere-shaped golem core.

(The energy output has been optimized and I’ve increased ability to handle the mana.)

(It shouldn’t cause the entire golem body to blow up, just like one of my previous attempts.... The question is.)

(Will it manifest?) – thought Thauma as it put the golem into the standard model golem made out of dirt and rocks.

Thauma buried the core into its body and covered it up, before then moving away.

Few moments later, the golem activated, causing the golem to come to life.

Thauma pointed with its finger at the metallic dummy, ordering the golem to swung its fist, damaging the target with each strike.

(Stop.) – ordered Thauma, halting the golem attacks, before then coming to the dummy and inspecting the damage it has received.

"..."

Right after inspecting the dummy, Thauma order to golem move around in different form of ways, before then ordering to stop it.

After completely stopping the golem activities, the dungeon master approached the earth golem and began punching it with little bit of force, not enough to damage it.... However, it then would began punching the golem again and again, increasing its power and attacking different parts of the earth golem body.

"..."

(Ha....) – however, Thauma suddenly stopped punching after its punches were now doing some serious damage to the golem.

(Ha....Hahahahah....)

(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!)

(YES!)

(IT FUCKING WORKED!)

(IT GOD DAMNED WORKED!)

(This isn’t just simple enchantment!)

(IT IS An ABILITY!)

(This dirt! This rocks! They are no longer just ’dirt’ and ’rocks’! They are much tougher and powerful!)

(Not only that! But I don’t see anything wrong with their flow! Even after it moved so much and even when I hit it to the points bits of its body started falling off!)

(It is working perfectly!)

(I FUCKING DID IT!)

(MY THEORIES! EXPERIMENTS! EVERYTHING I’VE DID!)

(All of them proven to be correct!)

(And this is just the basic version!)

(It isn’t master or anything!)

(Just an experiment!)

(Just what sort of abilities I could grant to my golems?!)

(Maybe I can makes these earth golems to be as strong as the puppet soldiers?! If that would be the case, then I would no longer need to spend extra DP on metals, since only the cores matters!)

(It does mean that I will have to restart everything from the very start in order to obtain the best form of understanding.... But from what I seen during this experiment? It will be worth it!)

(But a proper question I should be asking would be this...)

(Can I enchant my own body with these abilities? Can I give myself my own manmade skills!?)

(If that is possible, then I could possible strong enough to take head on the army of D-rank adventures and even C-rank adventurers, without having to heavily rely on traps or ambushes!)

(Maybe I could even stand some chance against B-rank adventurers!)

(Nah.... The B-rank adventurers are still somewhat beyond me.)

(I remember these 3 monsters....I’m still nowhere near their level.)

(There is a limit of what my "Dirty tactics" can do and maybe I will encounter a B-rank adventurer that can destroy them all.)

(Reaching the point where I can at least somewhat stand even a bit of a chance to the B-rank adventurer in the head on confrontation will take me while to achieve....)
