Love You Till the End-Chapter 1006 - 1005: Laughing at Your Foolishness
"Laugh at your clumsiness." His deep voice slowly flowed past her ear.
Su Jiuyi, who was called clumsy, pretended to pull away the close distance between them, but her hand was dominantly grasped by Shi Aoju, unable to move.
"Stop messing around, let’s hurry up to the top." He glanced around, noticing the other two teams had already disappeared.
Su Jiuyi obviously noticed this, too, "They climbed up so fast, let’s hurry and catch up! We’ve been climbing for five hours now, if we delay any longer it’ll be dark."
"There might even be wild animals." Shi Aoju pulled her and began marching toward the mountain summit again.
"Really?"
"I’m kidding."

A few more steps would take them to the summit. Su Jiuyi, who had never climbed a mountain before, felt dizzy, as if all the sights had become overlapping illusions.
"Hold on a bit longer." Shi Aoju’s voice flowed like a clear spring through her heart, giving her strength.
The sudden change in temperature from foot to summit made Su Jiuyi feel somewhat uncomfortable; her face turned a bit pale, her cold limbs became stiff.
The sweat on her body seemed to turn entirely into cold sweat as she hugged herself, trying to generate some warmth.
Noticing her subtle movements, Shi Aoju let go of her hand and took off his jacket.
"The temperature will keep dropping, didn’t you consider this before leaving?" Although his words sounded like reproach, there was no trace of blame on Shi Aoju’s face.
After crossing a steep slope, the two finally reached the summit.
Su Jiuyi bent over, gasping heavily, surprised at her poor fitness level. If Shi Aoju hadn’t been by her side today, she probably wouldn’t have made it up.
"Su Jiuyi." Shi Aoju’s cool voice came, making her realize that he rarely called her name. Unexpectedly, the simple syllables of her name had a unique charm when uttered by him.
"What’s up?" Su Jiuyi turned her face to look at him. His well-defined side profile softened in the glow of the setting sun.
"Look over there."
Su Jiuyi knowingly followed his gaze.
Vast fiery clouds blossomed at the horizon, a stunning evening spectacle woven with blue and red hues. Threads of golden sunset poured from the sky, scattering like splintered silver upon the ground.
Su Jiuyi had never seen such a beautiful sunset.
The view seemed to affirm that her choice to persist was right.
"It’s beautiful." Su Jiuyi couldn’t help but exclaim.
Not far away, a few tents were set up, and Qi Jingren, who was gathering firewood, waved excitedly toward them.
"You two, hurry up!"
The others were gathering firewood, ready to catch some fish in the nearby ravine for grilling.
"I didn’t realize we were so slow." Seeing the bonfire, Su Jiuyi suddenly felt less cold and was filled with excitement and anticipation for the upcoming night.
"Don’t run so fast." Shi Aoju casually placed one hand in his pants pocket, leisurely following behind Su Jiuyi.
Seeing various travel bags, Su Jiuyi puzzledly furrowed her brow: "You didn’t have this many bags when you came."
"The assistant brought them up with a sightseeing car," Song Zhike explained.
How nice, rich people have their ways.
