Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 699: A Conversation With Grandma Bertha
Ronan held Arielle as the girl was about to get off his body. At first Arielle didn’t understand why the man didn’t want her to get up until finally Ronan took her hand to touch something that was already rock hard under his black pants.
"Ronan ..."
"I can’t help it. How can I stay calm when you’re sitting on top of me in such a seductive dress? I’m not Priest Elis. I’m always a pervert when I’m around you. You already know that, right?"
Arielle shook her head and rubbed her face frustratedly. The girl peeked at Ronan who was smiling broadly when he saw his wife’s flushed face.
"Really, Ronan?"
Ronan laughed softly and bit his lip impatiently. "You want me to show my seriousness again? You can touch it again to your heart’s content and confirm how serious our current situation is, Sweetheart."
"Come here, don’t be shy... just for a moment," Ronan said as he pulled his wife’s hand to get closer to him. Meanwhile, Arielle wanted Ronan to leave and bring back all the knights who had snuck out of the manor right away. At this stage, some of the palace knights must have known what was going on at Grandmother Bertha’s party.
However, Arielle was weak against Ronan who was acting spoiled like this. She didn’t have the heart to reject the man, although she was aware that now was not the right time for them to make love.
Arielle closed her eyes as Ronan stroked her flushed cheek gently. Their lips barely touched. Ronan started off a little rough knowing that they didn’t have much time, so he wanted to do it as quickly as possible. Arielle gripped the man’s jacket as the man deepened their kiss.
"I want to take off your dress, but I also do not want to. The dress is very pretty on you," Ronan whispered between their kisses.
Arielle just averted her eyes because she didn’t know what to do.
"Should I just take it off?" she asked shyly.
Ronan sighed softly. The girl must have asked this because she was confused about what to do, but for him it was an irresistible temptation. Moreover, Arielle asked in a low tone that was able to shake his soul.
"Are you seducing me?" asked Ronan, playing his finger on the thin strings of the green dress.
Arielle buried her face in Ronan’s chest out of embarrassment. It still felt weird. She still hadn’t gotten used to this even though they had already done it numerous time and wherever they could, but Arielle still felt embarrassed like this was her first night with her husband.
Ronan hadn’t taken his hands off Arielle’s body. He chuckled and rubbed the girl’s exposed back. Arielle got goosebumps from the touch of her husband on her back. Those cold and rough fingers explored every inch of her skin without giving her a chance to process it entirely.
"Someone is coming here. I have to go first," said Ronan, making Arielle look up.
She tried to sharpen her ears but heard nothing.
"Someone? Who?" Arielle asked confusedly because she did not hear the sound of footsteps or the sound of someone knocking on the door.
"From the slow, shuffling steps and the sound of the stick beside her steps, it seemed to be Grandma Bertha. I’ll be back later."
Arielle was a little puzzled when Ronan kissed her neck for one last time and turned his body. The man looked reluctant to part when Arielle was already aroused like this. He bit his wife’s neck passionately and kissed her lips one last time before leaving the room through the window.
Arielle stood up to see her husband off. She stepped out of the room to see him climb onto the roof and waved to her, asking her to come back into the room.
"Ah, I almost forgot about it. Really, seeing you always makes my head go blank in an instant."
Ronan turned back and touched his wife’s shoulders gently.
"Actually, I’ll still stay here because I want to confirm something. I hear Princess Zohra of Thebis is also visiting. I want to confirm if it is true or not. If it’s true, this is our chance to ask about the Desert Dragon clan so we can get additional clues about Miss Poppy, the one who continued Princess Cecillia’s memoir."
Arielle nodded in understanding. "Yes, Princess Zohra is also here. I’ll try to approach her again after... um... tomorrow morning. I don’t think Princess Zohra can be bothered until tomorrow morning."
Ronan nodded in understanding. He scrutinized his wife from head to toe and kissed her once more a bit longer until Arielle had to break the kiss first and tell Ronan to go.
The man hugged Arielle for a few seconds and climbed up onto the roof. Arielle reminded him not to forget to withdraw all the palace knights that were brought into the manor. Ronan just gave a thumbs up, a sign that he understood and the man finally disappeared into the dark night sky of Northendell.
Just as her husband’s shadow disappeared into the darkness of the night, Arielle heard a knock on her door.
She quickly closed the window as well as the curtains and smoothed her dress before opening her bedroom door.
Princess Bertha was already in front of the door. She looked as fresh as the last time Arielle saw her. There was no sign of her dress being touched by anyone else, and the perfume on her was still the same.
"You must be really surprised by what you saw, right? I can understand it. For someone like you, this might be quite crazy and beyond reason, but women also need entertainment. It’s not only men who can enjoy their lives, women can do it too," said Princess Bertha, trying to give a reason for what happened at the so-called party earlier.
"You said you wanted to ask about King Theodore. If you’re still curious about that man, you can come with me to the library."
"Oh sure! I will follow you, Your Highness."
Princess Bertha chuckled when she heard Arielle call her that.
