Lust Meter System: Conquering Beauties-Chapter 149: Priscilla’s Invite
Liam pushed the door open and stepped out into the hallway.
Jane walked out behind him, her hands smoothing down the front of her leggings.
Jane walked out behind him, her hands smoothing down the front of her leggings.
They stepped back into the gym.
The noise hit immediately. Weights clanking. Treadmills humming. Voices mixing with music from the overhead speakers.
Kelvin and Priscilla were standing near the water fountains, maybe fifteen feet away. Kelvin had a white towel draped around his neck, a water bottle in his hand. Priscilla stood beside him, arms crossed, her dark wavy hair loose around her shoulders now.
Kelvin saw them first.
His eyes landed on Liam, then Jane, then back to Liam. His eyebrows lifted slightly.
Priscilla turned her head, following Kelvin’s gaze. When she saw Jane, her face lit up immediately, her eyes brightening, a smile spreading across her lips.
"Jane!" She stepped forward quickly, closing the distance in a few strides, and pulled her into a hug. Her arms wrapped around Jane’s shoulders, pulling her in close. "Where have you been? I was looking for you."
Jane hugged her back, easy and unbothered, her arms coming up to return the gesture without hesitation. "Just using the restroom."
She pulled back slightly, her hands dropping to her sides, and tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear with one hand. The motion was casual, unhurried. "He walked me there. Didn’t want me going alone."
She said it so casually.
Kelvin’s eyes went wide.
His head snapped toward Liam, his mouth opening slightly, his eyebrows shooting up like he’d just been told something he couldn’t quite process.
His hand tightened around the water bottle he was holding, the plastic crinkling faintly under the pressure.
Liam just shrugged.
One small lift of his shoulders. No explanation. No defense. No words. Just that single motion that said everything without saying anything at all.
Kelvin stared at him for another long beat, his expression stuck somewhere between disbelief and amusement.
Then he shook his head slowly, a grin starting to pull at the corner of his mouth, spreading wider the longer he looked at Liam.
"Unbelievable," Kelvin muttered under his breath.
Priscilla stepped back from Jane and turned to Liam, her smile widening slightly, her head tilting to the side as she looked at him. "Oh, you’re Kelvin’s friend, right? I didn’t get a chance to introduce myself earlier. I’m Priscilla."
"Liam," Liam said, his voice even, his hands resting loosely at his sides.
Priscilla looked at him for a moment, her eyes moving from his face down to his shoulders and back up, like she was taking him in properly for the first time.
Then she turned back to Jane, her lips pulling into a knowing smile.
She didn’t say anything. Just looked at Jane with that specific kind of look that said everything without needing words.
Jane’s cheeks flushed slightly, a faint pink spreading across her face, but she didn’t look away.
She held Priscilla’s gaze for a moment, then glanced down, her fingers brushing against the hem of her white sports bra like she needed something to do with her hands.
Kelvin cleared his throat loudly, breaking the silence, and stepped forward. He reached out and grabbed Liam by the arm, his grip firm but not rough. "Alright. We’re leaving."
Liam raised an eyebrow but didn’t resist. His body shifted slightly as Kelvin pulled, but his feet stayed planted for just a second longer. "Now?"
"Yeah, now." Kelvin was already pulling him toward the locker area, his hand still wrapped around Liam’s arm, his pace quick and deliberate. "Come on."
Priscilla turned her head, watching them go, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Where are you going?"
Kelvin glanced back over his shoulder without stopping, his feet still moving. "Something came up. We’ve got to head out."
Priscilla’s arms crossed over her chest again, her weight shifting to one hip. "Don’t forget about tonight."
Kelvin stopped for just a second, turned halfway around so he was facing her, and nodded once. "I won’t."
"Good," Priscilla said, her tone firm but not unkind. "Because if you bail on me again, I’m never letting you hear the end of it."
Kelvin’s grin widened. "I said I’ll be there."
"Okay then."
Kelvin turned back and kept walking, his hand still on Liam’s arm, pulling him along until they reached the bench where they’d left their bags earlier.
He let go of Liam’s arm and grabbed his black backpack, slinging it over one shoulder with a practiced motion.
Liam picked up his own bag, slower, his eyes on Kelvin the whole time, watching the way his friend moved with that restless energy that meant he was thinking about something.
They walked toward the exit in silence.
The glass doors slid open automatically as they approached, smooth and quiet, and the warm air from outside hit them immediately.
It was still bright out, the sun sitting lower in the sky now but not gone yet, casting long shadows across the parking lot.
Kelvin’s Range Rover sat exactly where they’d left it, parked near the front, the dark paint reflecting the light.
Kelvin pulled the keys from his pocket and unlocked the car with a beep. The headlights flashed once.
He walked around to the driver’s side and climbed in without a word, tossing his backpack into the back seat before pulling the door shut.
Liam opened the passenger door and got in, his movements slower, more deliberate. He tossed his bag into the back seat beside Kelvin’s, then pulled the door shut with a solid thunk.
Kelvin started the engine. The car rumbled to life, the dashboard lighting up, the air conditioning kicking on immediately and filling the cabin with cool air.
For a moment, neither of them said anything. Kelvin just sat there, his hands resting on the steering wheel, his fingers tapping lightly against the leather, staring straight ahead through the windshield at the gym entrance.
Then he turned his head and looked at Liam.
"So. Spill."
Liam leaned back in his seat, pulling the seatbelt across his chest. It clicked into place with a soft snap. "We didn’t have sex. But—"
"Stop, stop, stop." Kelvin waved a hand, cutting him off. "I don’t want to hear it. That’s the only thing that matters to me." He shrugged, hand dropping back to the wheel. "Well, you can try again tonight"
Liam raised an eyebrow, his head turning slightly toward Kelvin. "What do you mean?"
Kelvin put the car in reverse and started backing out of the parking space, his eyes on the rearview mirror. "You’re hanging out with her tonight."
Liam’s head turned fully toward him now. "What are you talking about? I didn’t ask her out."
"Nope. But Priscilla asked me out."
"And how is that my business?"
"She told me to invite you. The four of us."
Liam stared at him for a moment. "Oh." A beat. "In that case, I’m in."
Kelvin’s hands tightened on the wheel. He let out a long breath, the words coming out fast. "Trust me, I told her you wouldn’t be down for it. I said you’d probably say no. She said she could just tell Jane to convince you, and I wasn’t expecting you two to hit it off like that, and I didn’t want her asking you in front of everyone because if you said no it was going to make it awkward for me—"
He stopped, exhaling sharply.
Liam was quiet. Just sitting there. Staring at him.
Then it hit Kelvin.
His head snapped toward Liam. "Wait, did you just say you’re in?"
"Yeah."
Kelvin’s mouth opened. Then closed. Then he let out a short laugh, shaking his head. "You asshole. You let me spiral like that on purpose."
Liam’s lips pulled into a small smile. "I didn’t do shit. But it was nice seeing you lose it for a second."
Kelvin reached over and punched him in the shoulder. Not hard. Just enough.
Liam reacted, his hand coming up to rub the spot. "What was that for?"
"You know what it was for."
Kelvin turned back to the road, still shaking his head, but the grin on his face wasn’t going anywhere.
"Alright. Tonight then."
"Yeah. Tonight."

**[Evening]**
Kelvin’s Range Rover pulled up to the curb in front of a house on a quiet street.
Clean sidewalks. Trees lining both sides of the road. Two-story houses with well-kept lawns and driveways that actually had space in them.
Kelvin put the car in park and turned off the engine.
He was wearing a dark button-up shirt, sleeves rolled to his elbows. Dark jeans. Clean white sneakers. His hair was brushed back, still slightly damp from the shower.
Liam sat in the passenger seat, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Nothing fancy. Just clean.
Kelvin pulled out his phone and sent a quick text.
A minute later, the front door opened.
Priscilla stepped out first.
Dark red dress, fitted at the waist, stopping mid-thigh. Dark wavy hair down, falling past her shoulders. Small black purse over one shoulder.
Behind her, Jane appeared.
White dress, hair pulled back but styled now. Small tan bag in one hand.
They walked down the driveway toward the car.
Kelvin got out, walked around, and opened the back door.
Priscilla climbed in first, sliding across the seat. Jane followed, settling beside her.
Kelvin closed the door and got back into the driver’s seat.
Liam turned slightly, looking back.
His eyes landed on Jane.
"You look good," he said.
Jane’s lips pulled into a small smile. "So do you."
Kelvin started the engine.
Priscilla leaned forward slightly. "I’m excited."
Kelvin glanced at her in the rearview mirror. "Yeah?"
"Yeah."
Kelvin pulled away from the curb, the car moving smoothly down the street.
For a moment, no one said anything. Just the low hum of the engine and the faint sound of music playing quietly through the speakers.
Liam glanced back at Jane again.
She was looking at him too.
Neither of them said anything. Just looked.
Then Liam turned back around.
Kelvin glanced at him once, then back at the road, the grin still on his face.
"Alright. Let’s go."
