Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress-Chapter 109: Ch : Three Years of Development

In the deep area of the great forest, a golden haired beauty was facing off against a giant, 10 meter tall three headed wolf with her sword alone.

As the wolf tried to bite her from her front and two sides with its three heads, she dodged all of the attacks by very nimbly moving her body. Her speed was so fast that it looked like she was teleporting from one place to another.

After dodging all the attacks, she quickly tried to cut down one of the heads. But at the very last moment, the monster wolf was able to move it’s head away and managed to survive this deadly attack. But still a massive scar was made on the throat of the beast which was bleeding a lot of blood.

As the white fur of the wolf monster started to become red with the blood, the monster almost went berserk. But that was actually a mistake.

Now that the Monster was completely focused on attack, it had forgotten about its defense. Taking advantage of that, the golden haired ponytailed lady appered behind it and immediately cut off one of the heads using some kind of special move.

After losing one of the heads, the movement of the wolf monster became much more uncoordinated. Taking advantage of that, the other two heads were also severed in a very short period of time.

After killing this monster beast, Elise took a deep breath and looked at it with impressed eyes. She was actually impressed by how strong she had actually became.

The beast that she had defeated quite easily was actually a peak level monster beast. One of the kings of this dangerous forest. But she had defeated it just like that.

And the reason for this strength boost was her advancement. Last night, Elise had done something mythical. She had managed to reach the realm of a grand knight and had managed to acquire "Ancient Force". A higher form of energy than the life force that Knights used.

This achievement could have make anyone super proud but what Elise felt was only relief. That was because her mistress Weiss had reached this realm about one year before her. So Elise really needed to catch up to her.

It had been three years since the ladies had returned from the Magic Castle Ruin expedition. After that, with all the cards in her hands, Weiss had settled down and had focused completely on territory development and her research.

With the sudden demise of two counts, the noble society had shaken quite a bit. Some of the nobles were scared of the unknown threat, some were excited about taking this opportunity to gain more land and money.

So with all these opportunities, they had no time to waste with a minor remote territory like the Souran Territory. So Weiss had managed to grow for all this time without being disturbed by anyone or anything.

And the result of that had truly been amazing. Currently the Souran territory had a total of 19 official knights. This number is truly absurd and none of the other nobles would be able to believe it.

Not just that but among the 19 knights, 2 of them were grand knights and four other were high level knights. Having so many high level knights under a single noble family was never seen before.

Actually, this number could have been even higher if Weiss was able to recruit more talents from all the corners of the nation. But she had rarely went out in the last three years so only these few good talents had been found.

Still, currently unknown to the world, the strongest noble in the whole Brightshine kingdom was definitely Weiss.

Actually, her strength alone as a grand knight probably would have been enough to get this title but even without taking her into account, the strength of the Souran territory was definitely at the top.

As Elise started to carry the dead three headed wolf back, she thought about this matter and became happy.

Currently the knights of the territory were on a mission to conquer the forest around her territory completely. And with the death of this monster king by her hands, that work had progressed tremendously. Now Weiss was definitely going to praise her.

Weiss had her 18th birthday just a few days ago. On that day, Elise had gifted her a dagger that she had made by her own.

She was quite proud of this but after seeing the gifts of the other people, her confidence was shaken. And that was why Elise was planning to make a new dagger for Weiss using the fangs and claws of this beast that she had just killed.

Other than that, Elise was also planning to make a pair of matching fur coats for herself and Weiss using the beautiful white fur of this wolf monster.

As Elise was returning back, she came across a giant tiger and on its back, a cute lady was sitting. Seeing Elise, this lady waved her hands as a greeting toward her and Elise also returned the greeting with a wave.

This tiger was a monster and the lady on its back was none other than Eve. She had now became one of the four high level knights of this Souran territory.

The tiger under her was also a monster beast and they were a secret force under Weiss. This tiger Tora was the third addition to this force after Apep and Kong. The current number of monster beasts in this force was 8 and all 8 of them were quite intelligent.

Seeing Elise carrying the large Wolf all alone, Eve was impressed. Then she offered Elise a ride.

This tiger’s primary attribute was strength and as the wolf itself was quite light in order to maintain it’s speed, he should be able to carry both of the ladies and the wolf corpse together.

After thinking about this a little, Elise accepted the offer. It actually would have been faster if she just carried the beast on her own, but when she was being offered a ride, it was a good opportunity to relax a little and have a conversation with a fellow loyal Knight of Mistress Weiss.

So, while discussing about various things regarding the territory, the people living here, the monsters present and most importantly, about their amazing mistress; both of the ladies finally returned back to the Souran castle.
