Chapter 139: Ch 139: Tyrant’s Game (1)

Hearing this declaration, all the young nobles became interested and started to listen to her. Eleanor had a lot of prestige, so no one present here was going to ignore her.

As Eleanor felt a lot of eyes focusing on her, she smiled slightly and continued to speak. Currently she was showing off her sexy body to everyone while speaking, so this was definitely not a boring event for anyone.

Weiss saw that Eleanor was holding a pendent like item in her hands. This item was very familiar to her as Weiss also had quite a few of these. It was a magic item that had the function of conveying words to a large area.

It did not increase the volume of the sound. Instead, it used some kind of magical principle to directly sent the voice to the head of the listener who was within its range. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

So even though Eleanor was actually not speaking loudly at all, everyone was able to hear her perfectly. It was as if she was whispering these words to everyone’s ears. It was actually a pleasant feeling.

"The name of this game is "Tyrant’s Dominance". It is a very famous game that is played in the distant easter nations.

There is no competition and rivalry involved in this game. And this game also do not need any special skills. The only needed thing is luck. That is what makes it perfect to play in a friendly party like this."

Weiss nodded her head after hearing this. If they were playing a competitive games then with how petty the nobles were, the losing side had a high chance of holding a grudge. That would not be a good look for a friendly party.

And if the game played needed some special skills, then the nobles who were not skillful might get upset and would not enjoy it. That was also an undesirable outcome.

So the type of game that the Marchioness had chosen was perfect for the current party setting. This showed how skillful she was in handling the noble society.

"For this game, I will not participate in it. And instead I will be the game master. You all can consider me something akin to a judge who is overseeing the whole game.

For each round, randomly anything between two to nine people would be chosen as the Tyrant. The chosen Tyrants would be able to give one order that the game participants needed to follow no matter what.

If someone is unwilling to follow the order, they will lose one life. Losing three lives will turn that participant into a slave. And a slave have to follow one free orders from all the tyrants of a round. After following ten or more such orders, the slave would be able to become a regular participant again.

But the Tyrant can not give direct orders to any participants other than the slaves. All the participants would be given a random number at the start of each rounds and only they and myself as the game master would be aware of it. So the tyrants have to just randomly chose a number to give their orders.

But there was a solution to this. If the orders given by the tyrants is interesting enough, then the game master will give them special points. Using those points, a tyrant can found out the exact number of one individual for that round.

This is the basic format of the game. Knowing this much is enough to start playing. If there is any further explanation needed as the game progressed, I will give the needed explanation at that time.

There is one another thing that every tyrant needed to remember. They could not give an order that could be considered as foul by one third of the players here. In that case, that particular order would be dismissed and the tyrant would just lose their order giving opportunity."

With this, the explanation of the game rule was completed. It sounded very simple from a casual glance but there was a complexity to it too if anyone looked deeper.

So most of the people present in the room were excited about this. There were more than 80 young nobles who were participating and all of them were feeling excited about this never before heard interesting game.

Weiss was now thinking about how the random numbers would be distributed to so many nobles present. Then she saw how insanely rich and generous this marquis house of Skepa actually was.

As soon as the game started, the number 7 appeared in Weiss mind. Immediately Weiss analysed this phenomenon and found out that Eleanor was using some kind of magic item to accomplish this.

Using a very valuable magic item for a simple game sounded very bizzare. But it looked like these old and super rich large noble families were capable of doing exactly that.

This made Weiss to think that instead of spending money only for essential and important things, should she also use some money on other non essential things like this too or not ?

After thinking about this matter a little, Weiss finally came to the decision that if the people working for her were happy, then this kind of things were not wasted spendings.

As Weiss was thinking about all this, the random number distribution was over. Weiss was actually not sure that if this distribution was truly random or not.

If someone was using this magic item then it was very much possible that some manipulation could be happening in the background. But this manipulation was super hard to find out and even harder to proof.

Eleanor asked all the Tyrants of this round to lift their hands. Immediately five hands shot up. Among them, four of them were males and only one was a female.

"Tyrants, you can choose any numbers between 1 and 82 and give your order. Same numbers can be chosen by multiple tyrants. So do not worry and give your orders."

So what kinds of orders were these tyrants going to give ?
