Maid Order: I Became A Master Of SSS-class Maid Girls-Chapter 53 - 52 - Trappy Dungeon
Chapter 53: Chapter 52 - Trappy Dungeon
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for us to enter radio silent mode and dive into the Dungeon. Please change your smartphones to radio silent mode," I said after sending a few photos of myself taking selfies.
Before my main social media account was invaded by private chats that would make my smartphone ring non-stop, I immediately took precautions by switching to a fake account.
Piipp...
By using my fake account, my smartphone was much quieter than before.
Brrttt...
Zzzrrttt...
Putting aside my smartphone, which had calmed down after changing to a fake account, Elliot’s smartphone vibrated nonstop, as if it were receiving incoming messages and phone calls at the same time.
"So this is your brilliant plan, Weiss?" Elliot grumbled as he turned off his smartphone before entering the Dungeon.
"Isn’t this a good thing after spreading a blazing fire and being left alone all day?" I replied with a thumbs up.
"Pouring fire with fire, huh? It’s never-ending but fun to see what happens next."
With Elliot’s final grumble, we entered one of the rooms that looked like a final check before diving into the Dungeon.
Right in front of us was a woman dressed neatly with a Dungeon entrance guard badge.
With such tight security, some people who didn’t have the skills to enter the Dungeon would be immediately rejected.
My hand immediately reached for my student ID card which currently showed my rank as S-class and came from a Special High School.
Plaapp...
"Good morning everyone, can I assume that you all are on a study tour before the Dungeon exploration lesson is carried out?" the woman greeted with her friendly attitude.
"Yes, we are trying to warm up a little before the Dungeon exploration lesson begins," I replied by taking over the flow of the conversation before something unwanted happened, such as Elliot’s frequent mistakes in words that made us stuck at the Dungeon entrance like this.
"Is there a problem with this?" I continued to ask while watching Momoka, Elysia, and Rina who were looking for their student ID cards using their magic box storage chants.
"There’s nothing special about this Dungeon, do you want to try entering using the lockpicking technique?" replied the woman while scanning my student card to match it with my school’s database.
Piipp!!
The loud beeping sound indicated that I had successfully passed the identification check and got a smile from the woman in front of me.
"Weiss Guderian, you have permission to enter this new Dungeon for six hours based on the regulations given by the government for students who want to dive into the Level E Dungeon," while saying that, the woman returned my student card and gave me a watch that showed a countdown.
"Level E, huh? I think it’s more than that," I said while accepting the watch and my student ID card.
"If the level is above that, I will quickly refuse permission for you who want to enter the Dungeon for safety," she replied with a wink as if teasing me.
I ignored the tease with a small nod and a thank you before paying attention to the party’s preparations that would dive into a Dungeon like this.
Elliot had the expertise to use a spear and several piercing attack skills that penetrated defenses.
El Ria with her bow and arrows could be used for long-range formation attacks while receiving support magic from me. I had never seen El Ria fight, so I would pay attention to the attacks that El Ria did while in the Dungeon.
Momoka didn’t need to be paid more attention to because the fights she enjoyed were barehanded and strong physical endurance as a Succubus. If something went out of control, then I would rely on her ability to form a large-scale dream world.
Elysia and Rina, both seemed to have the same uniqueness in using magic sword attacks that came from their magic element abilities. Elysia used wind magic abilities while Rina used ice magic which was clearly visible from the arrangement of ice swords tied to her waist.
Unlike all of them who had worn reliable armor and weapons, I had to bite my fingers because I looked like a fool who would explore the Dungeon without preparation.
Piipp!!
Piipp!!
Piipp!!
With the validation process almost complete between Elysia and Momoka, we seemed to have obtained sufficient permission to dive into the Dungeon.
"Your information is complete and permission has been granted, please check your adventurer account before entering the Dungeon," said the woman with a friendly smile before bowing towards us.
"Thank you very much for your help," I replied with a nod of my head.
Before my smartphone was out of signal range, I configured the watch that would be the accurate time marker while inside the Dungeon.
Piipp!!
By calibrating the time that was running in sync with the current time, I also gave a small nod to Elliot to enter the Dungeon area.
The woman who had permitted us immediately opened the closed iron door until white smoke came out from between the doors.
Beessttt...
Ceesssttt...
The thick and cold white smoke suddenly put us in alert mode and my mind accidentally activated my magic circle formation without using the magic staff.
Swiiiirrrlll...
With the magic circle formation that appeared in front of me, I suddenly got a message screen from someone who had been waiting for me in the Dungeon.
[ System Notification (Hijacked): Master, I can feel your presence near me. ]
[ System Notification (Hijacked): Please meet me who has faithfully waited for your presence, Master Altair. ]
Degg...
Deggg....
Like an arrow that suddenly pierced my chest, I felt a pain that made me wonder about the message screen in front of me that seemed to have been misdirected.
My name is not Altair and I feel like this is a trap created by the Tower of Fate to lure me into this Dungeon.
Time seemed to pass so slowly that my footsteps now stopped right in front of a large Dungeon entrance with iron ornaments forming a key symbol.
"My older brother, isn’t it your turn to shine now?" Momoka said with her gaze fixed on me.
"You looked forward to this, huh?" I replied while reaching into my pants pocket to take out the key tucked inside the invitation envelope.
Before I could take the key tucked inside the invitation envelope, suddenly the invitation envelope that was currently in my hand immediately caught fire and the key tucked inside it immediately shot into the keyhole.
Kraaakk...
The sound of the keyhole opening made me feel something strange about this.
Brraanngg...
The creak of the iron door opening made me give some support magic to all my party members to prepare for an unwanted situation.
Swiirrll...
Buufff...
Waasshh...
By casting some support magic that made my party mates into hard meat shields, we slowly entered.
Swiiisshh...
As soon as we entered the wide open Dungeon door, I got a question from Elliot who seemed curious about something.
"So this is what makes you sure you can open this Dungeon door, I thought you were already an expert in lockpicking techniques," Elliot said in a low voice and pointed the tip of his spear forward.
Snap...
Before we went any further, I created a spark of light that made several balls of light start to appear in front of me.
"I don’t have the free time to learn lockpicking techniques and this is the fastest way to enter a Dungeon that is locked by a mechanism that I don’t understand. Isn’t it time for you to be the front meat, Elliot," I replied by giving Elliot a ball of light.
With one source of light shining brightly like a flashlight, I actually wanted to rely on the flashlight from my smartphone but that would drain my smartphone’s battery and would make me look like someone who had just come out of a cave when not holding my phone for dumb scrolling.
Plaapp... ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
Elliot caught a ball of light that came from one of the support magic spells that functioned to mark a path with a glowing ball.
I knew that my action was a misuse of magic functions that should not have been done but this dark situation was too suitable for using this one support magic spell compared to making a torch.
I didn’t live in a primitive phase like that, so the option of using a torch in this narrow room was a big rejection for me.
"Light ball," I said to cast a magic spell to form a bright glowing ball that would be used as further lighting.
"El Ria, do you have a spare bow ready to be thrown away at any time?" I asked El Ria as she walked along the one-way path in front of us.
"I-I’ve made a thousand arrows for today, I think it’ll be enough for one trip into a Dungeon like this," El Ria replied with a cute nod of her head towards me.
"I think it’s more than enough if there aren’t too many monsters in this Dungeon. However... I also don’t know what kind of monsters are in this Dungeon. The information Elliot gave me wasn’t very detailed so it’s hard to guess what to do when faced with a monster in a space this small," I said while handing El Ria a bright glowing ball.
"Attach this glowing ball to the tip of your arrow and launch it a few meters ahead. Let it be a marker for the direction our party has taken," I continued while looking ahead.
El Ria followed my words and immediately launched several arrow attacks carrying bright glowing balls. With such a suspicious-looking one-way street, I could only feel bad about this one-way Dungeon layout.
"Elliot, I heard you say that there were some adventurer parties who went out naked, right?" I asked Elliot to confirm something.
"Yes, that’s what happened. Is there a problem with that?" Elliot replied quickly.
Pwaanngg!!
Bwaanngg!!
Swiirrll...
Along with the El Ria arrows that flew through several meters ahead and create bright orbs that looked like city streetlights at night, I began to realize that this one-way layout was inviting my survival instincts to scream.
"Oh, shit, a classic Dungeon trap," Elliot grumbled, having gotten the hang of this Dungeon layout.
"Yeah, a classic Dungeon trap. Do you have any ideas for this one?" I replied, glancing at Elliot.
"Nothing, wanna go back now before one of us triggers the trap?"
"That’s a good idea... however... YOLO... sounds interesting," I replied with a smile.
