Chapter 21: Men are such easy creatures.

Later that night...

In a huge room painted in all white,a king-sized bed dominated the space, framed by golden furniture and soft lamps that threw warm pools of light across the hardwood floor. Alex stepped out of the shower, bare-chested with only a towel tied at his waist to shield him, and crossed the room toward a tall cabinet filled with photographs, trophies, and awards. He reached for a framed picture..... a young, beautiful woman with black, silky hair and a small boy of about five beside her, his hair the same shade as hers.

"I’ll get my revenge for you, Mom and brother," he promised, voice low and steady. He pressed the frame to his chest, eyes burning with resolve. "I don’t care if it’s the last thing I do on this earth but I will make them pay." His jaw tightened. "I’ll kill that woman’s son in front of her, so she can feel the same agony you did when my little brother was poisoned and died in your arms. I won’t give them an easy death. I’ll make it slow enough that they beg to die."

It had become a ritual that every night he stood before those photographs and swore the same oath, letting the faces remind him of the task he’d set for himself.

When he finished, he padded back to bed and lay on his back, the ceiling above catching the dim light. He closed his eyes waiting for sleep to take over only for Gabe’s face to slipped into his thoughts, relentless and bright. He replayed how Gabe had sucked the banana earlier, how they’d tumbled together, and how Gabe grabbed his cock and said it looked like a cucumber. Alex had been waiting for Gabe’s lips to close around him when the door had burst open and everything had shattered.

That motherfucker is bold, he thought, heart racing. I’ve never been this curious about an omega before .....him especially. There’s something about his confidence that pulls at me.

He couldn’t help mentally scolding himself for not locking his office door this afternoon. He cursed Damien for barging in and ruining the moment; part of him wanted to strangle Damien with the dormimant enigma pheromones he could barely control. Instead he forced himself to breathe, to tamp down the anger.

And yet.....a small, embarrassed part of him was grateful Damien had come in. If Damien hadn’t interrupted, Gabe might have taken things further; Alex had been on the edge, reckless and indifferent to consequence. He’d even been ready to let Gabe know he was an enigma, to let everything slip, but fate had other plans.

Damn. I shouldn’t be thinking about this, he scolded himself, cheeks hot. This is just my rut; my body’s reacting because of the hormones. I’ll go back to normal once it’s over.

His hand drifted beneath the blanket, searching under the towel for the hardness pressing against the fabric. He cursed inwardly, breath hitching. "Oh fuck," he mouthed silently, burying his face in the blanket as heat and shame flushed him.

Still, he couldn’t stop anticipating tomorrow ....meeting Gabe again, handing over the dozens of cucumbers he’d instructed the servants to buy. Different sizes, different lengths, all ready for "practice." The thought both embarrassed and excited him, the pull of Gabe’s scent already sewing a restless thread through his thoughts.

Sabastine Mansion....

"Good morning, sir. Your therapist is waiting for you downstairs," came a masculine voice from behind Gabe.

Gabe turned slightly in his wheelchair, flashing a charming smile. "Oh, I see. Tell him I’ll be down in a minute." His tone was light, almost teasing, and the man nodded before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

Now alone with Fred, the atmosphere shifted to a familiar mix of mischief and sarcasm. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Men are such easy creatures, honestly," Fred said with a smirk curling his lips. He leaned against the dresser, arms folded. "You told me he was resisting you yesterday, dodging all your touches and look who’s here again today. Probably can’t wait for you to grab his dick like you did yesterday." He chuckled, eyes glinting with mock amusement. "Or maybe he’s hoping you’ll go further and suck him this time."

Gabe burst out laughing, shaking his head. "You really think that’s what’s going to happen today?" he asked, still grinning. "Besides, this is Sabe’s house. Alex won’t take unnecessary risks. He’ll be cautious.....very cautious." Gabe’s voice lowered, a sly edge creeping in. "Anyway, today’s session is just part two of my little ’practice.’ I’m sure the cucumbers are ready."

Fred raised a brow, half in disbelief and half in amusement.

Gabe tilted his head, his expression shifting to something more thoughtful, even a little daring. "I’ll just make him cum again," he continued lazily. "It’s not like I can hop on him to fuck me. I can only let him think he’s in control.....let my actions drive him insane, and then watch him break for me. But I’m not some cheap toy either." His smile deepened, sly and proud. "Just because I turn him on doesn’t mean I’ll let him have his way. Besides, he thinks I’m an omega."

He leaned back in his chair, his voice softening into a darker, secretive tone. "Unknown to everyone, I’m an alpha. I’m the one who should be doing the bending. Just like with Sabe.....I’ve always fucked him, never the other way around. He still believes he’s the one fucking me since he always wakes up drunk, right after I dose him before sex." Gabe chuckled, almost fondly at the memory.

"He doesn’t know the truth. Never realized he’s the one being taken instead." Gabe’s laughter turned slightly bitter. "I never wanted a baby anyway.....not that I could, since I’m not an omega. But I did think, maybe one day, we’d adopt. Maybe I’d tell him the truth, that I’m an alpha. It would’ve caused chaos, sure but at least it would’ve been honest chaos." He sighed, gaze drifting toward the window. "But that doesn’t matter now. No more chaos. He chose Matthew over me. The cheating bastard made the decision for both of us."

Fred couldn’t help but laugh, shaking his head. "Well, a cheating and lying partner? You two sound like a perfect match." His laughter echoed through the room, but Gabe didn’t join this time; instead, his smile faded into a frown.

"Yeah, maybe heaven didn’t want to see me waste my time arguing with him," Gabe muttered, voice heavy with irony. "Maybe that’s why Sabe cheated so the universe could end it all for me. Simple and clean. The end of our marriage, just like that. Easy peasy." He finished with a bitter laugh, the sound hollow and soft.

Fred clapped his hands once, lighthearted again. "Alright, enough heartbreak for one morning. You should get going.....your hot therapist is waiting downstairs."

Gabe’s brows rose playfully. "Hot therapist, huh?"

Fred grinned and started pushing Gabe’s wheelchair toward the door. "You heard me. Don’t keep him waiting, and make sure you have fun too."

"Oh, I will," Gabe replied, his lips curling into a knowing smirk. "I definitely will."
