Make Me Moan Mr Therapist.-Chapter 73: I’m a good cook!
"What did the doctor say happened to him, though?" Damien asked suddenly, his voice pulling Gabe out of his storm of thoughts.
There was genuine worry in his eyes as he stepped closer.
"We were still drinking last night, remember?" Damien continued, his words now directed to Fred. "Did you get attacked on your way home or something?"
"Huh?!"
Gabe’s eyes widened in utter shock and disbelief.
Attacked?
By you, I guess!
The anger surged too fast, too violently.
Before he even realized what he was doing, Gabe stepped forward, his body moving on instinct alone, ready to knock Damien down only to freeze.
Fred was looking at him.
Their eyes met, and Fred’s expression stopped him cold.
There was fear there. And something else.
A silent plea.
Don’t.
Even though Fred didn’t say a word, Gabe understood him perfectly.
His fist loosened slowly.
What... does that mean?
Does that mean Damien isn’t responsible?
Or... is he responsible, but Fred doesn’t want me to hurt him?
Gabe ran his fingers through his hair roughly, frustration rising inside his chest.
"Can you just tell me what’s wrong with Fred, Gabe?" Damien asked again, his voice lower now, more serious. "I know he might be too weak to talk, but what about you?"
He raised an eyebrow slightly, studying Gabe carefully.
"You were in there with the doctor the whole time."
"He’s sick of course and the doctor already treated him and prescribed some drugs," Gabe replied, his voice laced with mild but unmistakable annoyance. "I need to prepare food for him now, so he can eat properly before taking his medication when Alex gets back. I don’t want to order food from outside. I’d rather have him eat something made with my own hands."
Damien’s eyes brightened almost instantly.
I should help then, he thought, excitement flickering through him. Alex already went to get the drugs. The least I can do is cook and I believe Fred will be willing to talk to me concerning that omega with the touching act of mine despite that fact that he’s just getting well.
"I’ll help you make food for him," Damien said suddenly. "You should just sit with him."
Gabe scoffed at once, the sound sharp and disbelieving, while Fred slowly opened his eyes, his lashes fluttering as if the words themselves had dragged him back into full awareness.
"I’m a good cook," Damien added quickly, a faint grin tugging at his lips. "So yeah."
So that you can poison me again, huh?
Fred swallowed, keeping his face carefully blank.
I’m not even sure you saw my face properly when you were fucking me last night which would have been perfect but who knows....maybe you already figured it out. Maybe you want to kill me because I turned out to be the omega you despise so much. Funny how your so-called disgust didn’t stop you from dragging me into your bed anyway.
"There’s no need for that," Fred said aloud, his tone calm but firm, seriousness etched into every word. "Gabe is also a good cook. Instead of wasting your time in the kitchen, you should stay here and let Gabe cook for all of us."
Damien raised an eyebrow, his gaze sliding slowly toward Gabe’s injured leg.
"And how exactly is he supposed to move around the kitchen like that?" Damien asked, his gaze fixed on Gabe’s legs. "I’ll just prepare something simple. Spaghetti. It’s fast and it’s something I’m very good at."
Before Fred or Gabe could respond, Damien turned and strode straight toward the kitchen. The space was directly connected to the living room, open and exposed, meaning anyone walking in from outside would immediately see him moving about.
"Is he crazy?" Fred whispered sharply, anger slipping through his composure. "Is he seriously trying to poison me again?"
Gabe let out a low scoff, his jaw tightening. "So the person inside this building....the one who put you in this condition is Damien the doctor. I knew not all doctors are angels. Some are devils and for example Damien."
His eyes narrowed as he leaned slightly closer to Fred.
"Tell me," Gabe continued quietly, "because I really need to understand. Did he fuck you this hard because he found out you smashed his head with a flower vase? Or because you’re the omega he’s been hunting all along? The one who he kissed despite the fact that he hate Omegas."
Fred’s fingers curled into the sheets beneath him.
"I honestly don’t know," Fred admitted softly. "From my perspective, I only saved him last night. He poisoned all the omegas in that club because he was looking for me."
"I keep wondering if those omegas are still alive," he added. "Damien is dangerous... but then again, what did I expect? Even Alex his so-called friend looks dangerous. They pretend to be harmless, but they’re not. They’re both pretending."
Fred exhaled slowly.
"They act innocent," he continued, "but underneath, they’re terrifying."
"I should teach him a lesson," Gabe growled, anger hardening his voice. "I don’t give a fuck how dangerous he is. His danger doesn’t come close to mine and yeah keep Alex out of this. He’s dangerous yeah but that’s during sexual activities."
With that, Gabe turned his head toward the kitchen, where Damien was already moving around, an apron tied loosely around his neck, his posture disturbingly relaxed.
"Don’t," Fred whispered urgently, barely moving his lips. "Don’t do anything to him, Gabe."
I really hope he doesn’t know, Fred thought desperately. If he doesn’t know I’m the omega he was looking for, then I can keep a low profile.
I’ll just accept that what he did to me last night was punishment for smashing his head with that flower vase. I don’t want another hell breaking loose. I’ll bury this whole thing.
"Just stay quiet," Gabe murmured back. "I’m only curious whether he knows the truth. And even if he doesn’t....don’t think for a second that it’ll stop me from punishing him."
"Your punishments are always brutal," Fred replied, his tone serious. "If he doesn’t know anything, then leave him alone."
"Didn’t you have some questions to ask Fred Damien? You should go ahead and talk to him now or what do you think?" Gabe asked, his gaze and words directed to Damien who walked up to them immediately who was eager to start with the questions. "Go ahead and ask him."
"This issue is between me and Fred, Gabe." Damien voiced out, now standing right in front of them now. The apron was still tied around his neck, and he held a turning spoon loosely in his hand.
"I should excuse you both then," Gabe said immediately, forcing a polite smile onto his lips. "I’m wondering why Alex isn’t back yet. I’ll go make a call."
He then wheeled himself toward the kitchen now leaving Fred and Damien alone.
"So tell me..." Fred said slowly, raising an eyebrow. Curiosity flickered in his eyes, but anger burned just beneath it. "What exactly is so important?"
Damien studied him for a moment before speaking again, his expression unreadable.
"Where did you bring that omega from last night?" Damien asked, his tone calm but edged with seriousness. "I remember telling you clearly that I didn’t want omegas from the club. I wanted one from you."
Fred’s jaw tightened slightly.
"So tell me," Damien continued, his voice lowering, "the omega I fucked last night... how is he related to you? Where does he stay? And can I see him again? I realized that the omega is the one I’m looking for. The one with the sweet pheromones but unfortunately I couldn’t see his face."
He doesn’t know, Fred realized, relief washing through him despite the tension gripping his chest. He doesn’t know I was the omega after all. Thank goodness but then I have to hide my pheromones from now on.
Fred let out a quiet breath, steadying himself before responding.
"I failed to get an omega for you last night," Fred finally said.
The words hit Damien hard. His posture stiffened, and shock flashed unmistakably across his face.
"I came to tell you that," Fred continued, his voice firm and unwavering. "And I left immediately after you told me to still get you one even if it’s from the club. But before I could return with an omega, your room door was already locked from the inside."
Fred paused briefly, his eyes narrowing as memories resurfaced.
"And the sounds..." he added. "The loud moans or maybe cries coming from inside your room were impossible to ignore."
He shook his head slightly.
"Everyone who passed through that hallway heard it. No one needed to be told what was happening in there. The sounds of bodies colliding, loud groans, moans, and screams filled the corridor. Flesh slapping against flesh...it echoed through the entire floor."
Fred scoffed faintly, bitterness creeping into his tone.
"I believe even if a deaf person passed through that hallway, with how loud it was, they’d suddenly regain their hearing."
Damien’s brows furrowed deeply.
"So he was already with me last night before you came back," Damien said slowly. "Alright. So did you see his face? Did you see when he left?"
He exhaled sharply, irritation creeping into his voice.
"I went as far as checking the hotel’s CCTV footage myself," Damien continued. "Other people were captured. You were captured. But that omega....he wasn’t."
