Married For Now-Chapter 243: THE IMPATIENT PRINCESS
"MAMA, I’m going to marry Gunwoo Hyung once I’m taller than him!"
Aigoo.
Sohee was fine with what Kim Woochul said since it was normal for children that age to experience puppy love.
They don’t know what marriage means yet.
In fact, after Kim Woochul said that he’d marry Gunwoo later, Kim Woochul left the table and went to play with Kim Woosung, Gunwoo, and Seowon in the pool.
Yep, we’re in a private villa with a pool.
Hong Sera, Baek Semin, Cho Euntaek, Baek Jeho, and Kwon Gaon were there to keep an eye on the children.
Jang Yeonwoo was also there, taking pictures of the kids.
And Yeonwoo’s boyfriend, Yang Jaewon, keeps following him like a dog.
Cute.
"Woochul-ah knows what he wants," Lim Garam said, smiling. "Just like you, Sohee-ya."
"Right, Hyung?" Sohee agreed, smiling back at Lim Garam. "I like how Woochul knows what he wants."
It seemed like Lim Garam, just like Sohee, just found Kim Woochul’s declaration to marry Gunwoo cute and did not take it seriously.
However, there were two Alphas who weren’t happy at the moment.
"Kim Heedo, your son is as ambitious as you, huh?" Song Sihyuk, Lim Garam’s Alpha husband and Gunwoo’s father, said sternly while glaring at Kim Heedo. "He’s aiming for my son this early."
"Gunwoo is a good kid, but not good enough for our Woochul," Kim Heedo said, scoffing. "Gunwoo has one vital flaw that I can’t overlook, Hyung-nim."
"Yah. What is my son lacking? He’s handsome, rich, and powerful. Plus, he’s a Dominant Alpha."
"Gunwoo’s biggest flaw is that he has you for his father, Hyung-nim," Kim Heedo said bluntly. "I don’t mind if it’s just Garam Hyung-nim. But I don’t want you as my son’s father-in-law, Sihyuk Hyung-nim."
Pfft.
Song Sihyuk turned to Lim Garam. "See that, Garam-ah? Do you still want Kim Heedo as our son’s father-in-law when he treats me like that?"
"Don’t take it too seriously. Woochul-ah is still a baby— his feelings might change in the future," Lim Garam said while rubbing Song Sihyuk’s back. "Let’s revisit this again when Woochul and Gunwoo are both consenting adults. I wouldn’t want the kids to develop feelings for each other early since they have a pretty big age gap."
"A six- or seven-year gap isn’t that big. It’s just like our age gap."
"It’s not if they start their relationship as adults."
"You were an adult when we met."
"Barely."
Song Sihyuk just smirked, obviously unapologetic for how he and Lim Garam had met.
To be honest, Sohee was quite interested in Lim Garam and Song Sihyuk’s love story, but he didn’t have the courage to ask yet.
I like makjang, but I can’t handle toxic stories.
Moreover...
"Excuse me, I’ll just go to the restroom," Sohee said, standing up while holding his baby bump. "I feel like my bladder is about to explode."
"Hyung, don’t say something so scary," Kim Heedo said, immediately standing up and following me. "Wait for me, Hyung."
It was a good thing that Kim Heedo followed Sohee because he suddenly got the cramps after peeing...
... and then his premature birth began.
***
OUR PRINCESS is a bit too impatient.
Kim Heedo almost had a heart attack when Park Sohee suddenly began his labor when his husband was only seven months pregnant.
Fortunately, he wasn’t alone when it happened.
Song Sihyuk and Lim Garam helped him bring Park Sohee to the hospital.
We left our children to our friends in the villa.
Since Kim Heedo couldn’t drive in that condition, Song Sihyuk took the liberty to drive for him and his husband. Lim Garam also came with them, helping Park Sohee calm down because Park Sohee panicked— thinking it was his fault that he suddenly went into labor.
"No, it’s not your fault," Lim Garam said firmly. "Sohee-ya, our Gunwoo is also a premature baby. In fact, it’s normal for male Omegas to have a premature birth. You got lucky during your first pregnancy that you reached a full term. But don’t worry— I know you and your baby will make it."
To be honest, Kim Heedo wasn’t happy aftear hearing that.
However, Lim Garam’s words seemed to have helped Park Sohee calm down.
Hence, he just kept his mouth shut.
"Heedo-ya, don’t worry too much," Park Sohee said weakly, trying his best to smile at Kim Heedo even though he was obviously in pain. "Our baby princess and I will make it."
Kim Heedo wanted to be tough for their family, but he ended up crying when he saw how pale Park Sohee was. "Hyung, I know you and our baby princess will make it— you have to or else..."
I’ll die.

"BOTH Sohee and their baby girl made it safely," Lim Garam said, joining Song Sihyuk at his table in the café in the hospital lobby. "How are the kids? Is Gunwoo alright? He didn’t cry because we suddenly left, did he?"
"Honey, Gunwoo isn’t a baby anymore," Song Sihyuk assured him, laughing softly. "I just talked to our son on the phone. He’s fine. In fact, he’s taking care of the younger kids."
That was a relief to hear.
I often forget that Gunwoo isn’t a baby anymore even though our son is taller than kids his age.
Yeah, Gunwoo had a growth spurt recently.
So, even though their son was still in elementary school, he actually looked like a middleschooler already.
Our baby is growing too fast...
"Did Heedo and Park Sohee have a daughter this time?"
"Yes, Hyung," Lim Garam said, smiling when he remembered Park Sohee’s stories. "Apparently, Woochul and Woosung predicted both Sohee’s pregnancy and the gender of their baby."
"I see."
Aigoo.
It’s obvious Hyung doesn’t care.
"Hyung, don’t you want a second child?"
"Although it’s a shame that I wasn’t there for you when you gave birth to Gunwoo, I don’t think I’d risk your life just to experience that," Song Sihyuk said, smiling apologetically. "Honey, it’s risky for a male Omega your age to get pregnant. Especially since you almost died giving birth to Gunwoo."
"Is that really the only reason you don’t want a second child, Hyung?"
"Well, I enjoyed being an only child since I don’t have to compete with anyone for my inheritance. So, I’d like that kind of life for Gunwoo, too."
"But I’m having a baby fever right now, Hyung."
"Garam-ah..."
Lim Garam let out a long sigh. "Hyung, you’re still a bad adult."
Song Sihyuk chuckled. "That’s what you called me when we first met, huh?"
Ah, yes.
Lim Garam was a graduating senior high school back then, while Song Sihyuk was ’cosplaying’ as a loan shark.
So, we’ve been together for more than a decade now, huh?
***
NOTE: Lim Garam and Song Sihyuk’s story was only supposed to be a side story. But the draft I wrote was too long, and I felt like they deserved their own story.
That’s how I ended up writing Secretly Married to a Chaebol Alpha.
You can check it out if you’re interested.
But it’s a toxic story, and Song Sihyuk is really a crazy bastard.
You’ve been warned. ^_^
