Married For Now-Chapter 250: CEASEFIRE
<BREAKING NEWS: The list of the passengers of the plane that crashed includes Ilsung Group’s heir Kim Heedo and SG Group’s Chairman Song Sihyuk...>
Sohee felt like his heart was about to drop while listening to the news.
According to the news, the plane overshot the runway, crashed into a ravine, and caught fire. Out of all the 180 passengers and crew, 13 had already been reported to be severely injured.
So far, no casualty had been reported yet.
And I’m praying it stays that way.
Sohee’s in-laws had gotten in touch with him already.
Mother-in-law and Father-in-law assured me that they’ve already sent people to look for Kim Heedo and make sure he’s fine.
He heard Lim Garam talking to his in-laws, too.
"MAMA!"
Sohee was startled when his children came running to him— crying.
Then Kim Woochul, Kim Woosung, and Kim Woohee hugged him.
What are they doing here?
Song Gunwoo volunteered to look after the kids in the playroom because he knew how grave the situation was.
Did my babies find out...?
"I’m sorry, Pretty Uncle," Song Gunwoo said. And, yes, the kid now calls him ’Pretty Uncle’ instead of ’Pretty Hyung.’ It changed after he heard the twins call Lim Garam ’Uncle Garam.’ "I didn’t tell them what happened even after they asked, but I didn’t expect the twins to use their computer tablet. They looked up Uncle Heedo’s name on the internet..."
Aigoo.
My babies are too smart for their own good.
"It’s alright, Gunwoo-ya. No need to apologize," Sohee said, forcing himself to smile. "Don’t blame yourself."
Song Gunwoo smiled and nodded politely, the kid obviously scared and nervous, too.
Sohee wanted to console the kid, but...
"Mama, where is Dada?" Kim Woosung asked between sobs. "I want to see Dada!"
"Woohee, too!" Kim Woohee cried while Sohee picked her up. "Woohee wants to see Dada!"
I want to see your Dada, too.
But Sohee didn’t say that out loud because he was afraid that he might suddenly break down crying.
"Mama, I said I hate Dada before he left. But I don’t hate Dada," Kim Woochul said, crying loudly. Out of the three siblings, it was obvious Kim Woochul was the most affected because he had a fight with his father just last night. "I want to apologize to Dada! Mama, let’s go pick up Dada!"
Sohee was really about to have a meltdown because he didn’t know how to console his children when he wanted to cry with them.
Fortunately, his friends went to the rescue.
Hong Sera carried Kim Woochul while Cho Euntak carried Kim Woosung.
"Sung-ah, we’ll see your dada later," Hong Sera said gently. "You can apologize and say ’I love you’ to your father then."
Kim Woochul just cried harder while hugging Hong Sera.
Seeing his twin brother cry, Kim Woosung also cried harder.
"Shh," Cho Euntak consoled Kim Woosung while rubbing the child’s back. "It will be okay, Sung-ah."
In the corner of Sohee’s eye, he saw Song Gunwoo hugging Lim Garam tight.
Seeing how everyone was trying to comfort each other made him feel a bit stronger now.
I’m not alone in this.
At that moment, Sohee’s phone rang at the same time Lim Garam’s phone rang as well.
It seemed like the two of them got a call from their own in-laws.
Hence, they also ended up answering the call at the same time.
"Yes, Mother-in-law?"
"Father-in-law..."
<"Sohee-ya, Kim Heedo is in the hospital.">
Oh, god.
"Mother-in-law, we’re heading to the hospital. Tell me where we need to go."
<"Kim Heedo is in the hospital in Jeju.">
Huh?
That was confusing.
"Mother-in-law, the plane crashed at Seoul airport..."
<"Exactly. Kim Heedo missed his flight because...">
"Because Kim Heedo got into a fight with..." Sohee trailed off, and then he turned to Lim Garam, who also turned to him. "With Sihyuk Hyung?"
"Sihyuk Hyung and Kim Heedo both broke their noses and jaws?" Lim Garam asked to the person on the other end of the line. "Because they exchanged punches?"
What the hell are those two Hyper-Dominant Alphas thinking?!
***
OH, GOD.
Kim Heedo felt his heart drop after reading the news.
If I got in this flight... no, I don’t wan to think about it.
He missed his flight because he fought with Song Sihyuk in the First-Class Lounge of the airport.
That stupid fight landed them in the emergency room for broken noses and jaws.
Fortunately, both Kim Heedo and Song Sihyuk just had minor fractures.
Hence, they didn’t need to have surgery.
Even so, the doctor required them to stay the night for further observation.
Sihyuk Hyung-nim and I hit each other a lot in the face and head, so the doctors want to make sure we won’t fall into a coma while asleep due to an undiagnosed concussion.
Anyway, Kim Heedo fell asleep while resting in his private room.
He heard Song Sihyuk also fell asleep.
Anyway, when he woke up, only then did he see the missed calls and messages that he got from family and friends.
I missed a lot of calls from Sohee Hyung.
Shin Kang informed him that he had already contacted his parents, and that his parents already relied his condition to Park Sohee.
Kim Heedo called Park Sohee earlier and...
<"Don’t say anything, Kim Heedo. Just stay there and wait for us.">
That was what his husband said before ending the call.
To be honest, that got him nervous.
Sohee Hyung and our family used our private plane, so they’ll probably be here in less than two hours.
"Hey, you still alive?"
Tsk.
Sohee frowned when Song Sihyuk entered his private room.
Shin Kang and his other bodyguards were outside, but he already knew they couldn’t stop Song Sihyuk from doing whatever he wanted.
He was right because Shin Kang, standing behind Song Sihyuk, looked guilty.
"It’s alright," Kim Heedo said. It kind of hurt talking, but it wasn’t that bad. "Leave us."
Shin Kang bowed his head apologetically before leaving the room quietly.
"You look awful, kid."
"Hyung-nim looks awful, too."
Song Sihyuk chuckled, but instantly groaned in pain. "Don’t make me laugh, Kim Heedo. My jaw still hurts like hell."
"Hyung-nim, have you seen the news?"
Song Sihyuk nodded, his face turning dark. "Three people have been confirmed dead."
Kim Heedo clenched his hands tightly. "Hyung-nim, this should be a wake-up call to us. Life is short. Let’s stop fighting over stupid stuff."
"I agree. That’s what I came here for," Song Sihyuk said, nodding. "Let’s not get in the way of our children’s happiness."
What?
That’s not what I mean, though?
