Silvia turned to Sentencia, "What is this man doing here, Cia?"

"What the hell are you doing here?" she questioned Logan instead. "What business do you have with my friend?" she continued.

"It’s okay Silvia. He’s just a friend," Cia interceded.

"A friend? Do you know who this man is?" Silvia asked Cia.

"He’s part of a f*cking syndicate group. Do you know this? Do you Cia?" Silvia continued, she was surprised that Cia wasn’t that shocked by what she had said first.

Even though Silvia has cut ties with anything relating to the mafia, she still knows every single syndicate group and mafia family in the country apart from the latest ones.

"I had a hunch," Cia responded.

"You had a hunch? You had a hunch yet you still... I’m confused," Silvia replied.

"Silvia, just go home. We’ll talk about this tomorrow," Cia told.

"Go home? I can’t leave you with this man," Silvia glared at Logan who has been quiet since the whole questioning from Silvia.

"Silvia I can handle this. Don’t worry about me, he won’t hurt me-"

"How are you so sure?" Silvia asked.

"She’s right Silvia Reyes. I won’t do anything to hurt our dear friend here," Logan finally spoke up but it only made Silvia glare more at him.

"Silvia just go, trust me. I’ll explain everything to you," Cia insisted.

Silvia finally surrendered, she hugged Cia and whispered, "Be careful," then she turned to Logan and glared at him again.

"Don’t you even dare to hurt my friend," she warned and purposely bumped her shoulder on his as she proceeded to her car.

Logan turned to face Cia, they had been watching Silvia’s car drive off earlier.

"I never knew you were friends with Silvia Reyes. She doesn’t seem to like me," he stated.

"Yeah," obviously because you are part of the mafia. "How did you know where I live?" she added.

He pursed his lips, "I might have followed you," Cia didn’t know if she should get angry again or just get used to it.

"Why are you here? For the second date?" she asked instead of retaliating.

"Nope, I haven’t come up with the perfect idea yet, I want your mind and heart to be blown away by it," he answered and she shook her head, a small smile on her lips.

"So why are you here?" she asked.

"I’m here because I got invited to a charity event and I want you to be my plus one," he requested.

"What do you say?" he asked and she thought deeply.

Silvia just arrived home, she didn’t feel so good leaving Cia alone with that man but she just decided to trust her. Nevertheless, she wants an explanation asap on how she got associated with that man.

She walked up to her room which she shared with Davian. She opened the door when she got there and saw that the lights were turned off.

She turned on the lights and was amazed by what she saw. The room was decorated in such a romantic way, tiny scented candles were lit up and arranged towards the balcony of the room where a romantic dinner was awaiting her.

She hands went to her mouth in surprise, her eyes immediately caught sight of Davian at the corner of the room with a guitar in his hands. It was all enough to take her worries away.

He started playing the guitar skillfully, walking towards her, "I didn’t really prepare a song because the guitar was a last minute thing,"

She chuckled.

"So I’m just going to play it, I hope you still spot the sincerity in the tone. I’m sorry Silvia...this is part of me making it up to you...I love you so much," he continued, getting closer to her until they were only inches apart then he stopped playing the guitar.

He put it down and hugged her, "I love you too," she responded.

"I’m sorry. I promise to make out time for us from now on," he stopped hugging her and just stared into her beautiful amber eyes that stared back at him.

"Don’t get me wrong, Davian. I’m happy for you, at your successes, I’m really happy that things are going well for 3D. But why you’re pursuing your dreams, still make me part of it," she expressed and he leaned down to kiss her neck which made her smile.

"I understand. You are my priority, always been even before I confessed my feelings to you. But if you don’t feel that way then I’m sorry and from now on, I’m gonna make sure you feel that you are part of my priorities," he assured and her smile broaden.

He leaned down to kiss her, he too has missed her and was not overworking on purpose but it was just what was demanded of him at the moment, what his firm needs.

She kissed him with the same love and passion. He breaks the kiss soon and planted another on her forehead.

"Let’s go eat now," he smiled at her, she smiled back and nodded in agreement.

Sentencia had agreed to accompany Logan to the charity event. He had already prepared an outfit for her- Which he urged her to keep even after the event as it was like a gift. He bought before coming to her house and he brought it along with him.

They looked so elegant as they walked into the event. The outfit suited Cia so much and with a little touch of makeup, she looked even more beautiful tonight.

The charity event was for the orphanages and old people’s homes in Asteria and when it came to the donation time, Logan donated the sum of five million to support the program. Cia was a little surprised a man like him could donate that much when it comes to these things.

She couldn’t stop herself from asking him as they danced to the soft music on the dance floor, along with others. Her hands on his shoulder, his on her waist and their other hands held as they swayed gracefully.

"I was an orphan myself before I was adopted by my family who are all late now," he started opening up to her even though he didn’t go into all the details.

"I see," she responded.

He tilted his head a little bit to the side, "Why did you still agree to come with me?"

"Huh?" she voiced.

"Why did you come with me even after finding out that I was part of the mafia? I expected you to have shooed me away in fear," he continued.

She looked away, "I should have, because I don’t even have a good experience with the syndicates. But...I don’t know, maybe because I was already suspecting it. So I just feel that nothing changed,"

"But...it still doesn’t mean I’m okay with it. It’s just I can feel the good in you, I don’t know," she shrugged. She was torned.

"You said you were friends with Fi, does that mean my suspicions concerning him are true?" she continued and he nodded.

He was a little taken aback by what she said, ’i can feel the good in you,’ was it because he donated the money to the charity program.

He wanted to scoff but...for some reason, her words just kept sinking deep. Maybe because she was the first to tell him that.

He drove her back home after the event. He felt her head on his shoulder in the car as she falls asleep. His eyes scanned her as he finally started to take in the beauty before him.

’Why does she look so beautiful all of a sudden?’ he thought. After the few times he has spent with her, he was slowly starting to see what Fi sees in her.

His driver and his right hand man at the front of the car saw how stiff their boss became as he didn’t move an inch not wanting to wake up the sleeping fragile flower. It was the first time they’ve seen him so cautious about the welfare of a woman.

He woke her up when they finally arrived at her place, "Oh, I can’t believe I actually fell asleep," she said. "I’m sorry," she added.

"It’s okay," he responded.

"Goodnight," she replied as she got out of the car.

"Goodnight," he responded and he continued to watch her till she disappeared into her house.

Silvia did come for her explanation the next day after work. Sentencia had already returned from the hospital by then too.

"I met him at a bar and we just somehow became friends since then," Cia explained.

"But you knew he could be a criminal," Silvia stated and Cia nodded.

"But he’s nice to me, he won’t hurt me," Cia replied.

"It doesn’t still make it right. This guy is a criminal, an enemy to the government and your friendship with him might endanger you. Have you forgotten what these syndicate people did to us years ago?" Silvia questioned and Cia shook her head.

"Do you happen to know a Finland Lee?" Cia decided to bring Fi up after some while of silence.

She saw as Silvia’s expression changed at the mention of that name.

"Are you friends with him too?!" Silvia asked but there was no response and Cia’s silence just answered her question.

Gosh! Silvia couldn’t believe how involved Cia was, who else from the underworld was she friends with?

"You need to stay away from these men, Cia. They’re dangerous people and Finland Lee? His family...his syndicate group were the ones that kidnapped us years ago!" Silvia elaborated. How could Cia forget? Although Cia wasn’t as exposed to them as Silvia was.
