Martial Arts System-Chapter 424 - Curing Wounds
Chapter 424 - Curing Wounds.
*Clank*
A window opened.
A dark-clothed figure entered the house through the window. His feet landed softly on the ground, making no sound whatsoever.
''Haahhh…'' He took off his shirt and let out a grunt, ''Urgh…''
A burnt wound was located on his bare chest, and a few of his bones were barely noticeable.
''Haaahhh…'' Ichiro threw the shirt away and knelt down on the ground.
*Thud*
A sound that was louder than he wanted appeared.
''Ugh…'' Ichiro carefully touched the burning wound, ''Damn… Healing Potions would be nice…''
He glanced at his HP to make sure that his life wasn't in danger.
[HP: 197/585]
Less HP he wanted, and it kept decreasing every minute or so.
However, his life wasn't in lethal danger.
Ichiro slowly stood up to stand. The drop of warm liquid traveled through his muscular chest and landed on the ground with a splash.
He touched his back pocket and took a card from there.
After taking a quick glimpse at the card, he threw it inside his locker and sat down on his bed.
''Argh…'' After sitting, he let out another puff of painful breath.
*Creak*
A shimmer of light came from the open door.
He turned his head toward the light and saw a beautiful black-haired girl peeking inside the room, looking around for any intruders.
She didn't see any intruders, but instead her boyfriend.
''You returned!'' Azura opened the door wide open and let out a sigh of relief with a hand on her chest.
''Yeah…'' Ichiro replied with a voice that told her that something wasn't right.
Azura walked to the bed and came to a halt after her eyes saw something wrong.
Her face changed shades, ''W-What…''
''I got a little bit of an injury.'' Ichiro laid down on the bed and let out a strained chuckle, ''Hah… I will be fine… I just need… Rest.''
''No, you won't be fine!'' She screeched and examined the wound, ''That will get infected, and you will be utterly fucked!''
''Oh…'' Ichiro casually said, ''Well, that would be bad.''
''I will go get bandaids!'' She shouted anxiously and ran out of the room.
She went straight to the kitchen and started going through all the cabinets.
Alena, who was sitting behind the kitchen table, suddenly saw her daughter appearing with an anxious look, ''Azura, what is wrong?''
Azura stopped moving and glanced at the living room, where Ichiro's parents watched TV with sleepy Ayako barely staying awake.
''Ichiro is back and… He is injured.'' She continued going through cabinets.
Alena's eyes widened in shock, ''Is he alright?''
''No… It's a bad one.'' She bit her lip and quickly wiped the tears that were only a second away from falling down.
Alena stood up and grabbed a bottle of alcohol from the cabinet ''Here.'' She gave it to Azura and took a box of bandaids from her purse.
''Thanks!'' Azura kissed her mother's cheek and returned to the upstairs in a hurry.
''Is something wrong?'' Azumi peeked from the living room and saw Azura running in a hurry.
''Ichiro returned.'' Alena mentioned and sat back down on the chair, ''He went straight to bed.''
''Ah.'' Azumi sighed in relief, and her nervous heartbeat calmed down, ''What a foolish son I have. Going for a night walk while a monster was rampaging.''
Alena didn't respond and put her phone on the table, ready to call an ambulance if needed.
At the upstairs.
Azura opened the door and closed it right behind.
She tapped the light switch, and soon, the dark room was lit with lights.
She saw the wound more clearly and felt hurt, even though the wound wasn't on her.
''Here.'' Azura took a chair and dragged it next to the bed.
She gave the alcohol bottle to Ichiro.
''Thanks.'' Ichiro opened the cork and took a sip of the alcohol but heard Azura's scream shortly afterward.
''It is for the wound!'' She couldn't believe her eyes, ''You idiot, your life is in danger!''
Ichiro glanced at the HP that wasn't reducing as much as before, ''Nah, it isn't.''
''Give it to me!'' She took the bottle of alcohol with force and poured it down to the wound.
''Ah!'' Ichiro grabbed the blankets and had to bite his tongue to silence his screams.
Azura wiped her sweat and put the bottle back on the ground.
She unboxed the bandages and started covering the wound.
Ichiro grabbed the alcohol bottle from the floor and took another sip.
''Oww…'' After drinking, another loud scream escaped his mouth.
Azura paled and glanced at the door, hoping that no one else would barge in.
After half an hour, the wound was bandaged nicely.
''T-Those need stitches… Or something!'' Azura told him, ''Y-Your bones were showing!''
Ichiro looked at the bandages and said, ''Well… Let me try something.''
Azura took a step back and watched as her boyfriend's body started smoking!
''True Iron Style… High Human…'' Ichiro's body started growing larger. However, he concentrated it on his torso, ''High Human… Allows me to have perfect control of my muscles and body.''
Azura covered her mouth in surprise and noticed how his bones, muscles, and tissues started moving around under the bandages, almost like the wound was getting regenerated!
Soon, the wound was closed entirely.
However, Ichiro knew that it wasn't a permanent solution.
''Would you be so kind as to find stitches?'' Ichiro let out a puff of smoke, ''Let's fix them quickly.''
Azura shakily nodded and went back to downstairs.
Shortly afterward, she returned with a needle and thread.
She pushed the thread through the needle's tiny gap, moved the bandages slightly out of the way, and inserted it in Ichiro's flesh.
Ichiro moved his skin in a way that made stitching easier.
Soon, Azura managed to stitch half of the wounds.
Her hand was trembling every once in a while, barely maintaining her concentration. However, she pushed through, and soon, the bones weren't visible anymore, and the stitches were nicely keeping his flesh intact.
Now, Ichiro started connecting the tissues, making recovery much quicker.
''Sigh…'' He closed his eyes and relaxed with his body drenched in sweat.
The blanket and mattress below him were stained with sweat. However, he didn't bother to care.
Azura grabbed his hand and watched as he slowly started drifting to sleep.
