Martial Peak - Rise Of The Human Emperor-Chapter 113: Mo Yanyu Again!
Chapter 113 - 113: Mo Yanyu Again!
Carrying Mu Yu Die on her back, Di Yalan darted through the dense woods. Each step was a powerful leap, her toned legs pushing off the ground like a leopardess hunting prey. Her short skirt flapped in the breeze, exposing the firm curve of her hips—a sight that could quicken any man's pulse. Yang Kai's gaze lingered on her, captivated by her blend of strength and grace, even amidst the chaos.
"Little bastard, stop staring at my ass!" Di Yalan snapped, her voice cutting through the air with authority, as if she could sense his eyes. "Watch the surroundings! Look for demon beast tracks!"
"It's fine," Yang Kai shot back with a grin, his tone light. "No beast trails for now." But then he froze, crouching low and pressing his ear to the earth. His expression darkened. "Hold on... someone's coming. Light footsteps."
"Someone's after us?" Di Yalan's face tightened, her eyes narrowing with worry. "Assassins? Have they caught up?"
Yang Kai's jaw clenched as he strained to listen.
"Kid, take Miss Mu and go," Di Yalan urged, her voice hushed and tense. "I'll hold them off."
"No," Yang Kai said, shaking his head as he stood. "I've been itching to test my recent training. You keep moving—I'll catch up. Follow this path to the end. If fate's kind, we'll meet again."
"You..." Mu Yu Die twisted to look at him from Di Yalan's back, her eyes wide with surprise and a flicker of something softer. "You didn't have to get tangled in this."
"I know," Yang Kai replied, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "But I owe you too much to walk away now. Even if you begged me to leave, I wouldn't." He waved Di Yalan on. "Sister, go!"
Di Yalan hesitated, her gaze lingering on him. "Little bastard, stay alive. Catch up, and... I'll let you touch my butt." With a fierce stomp, she bolted forward, vanishing into the trees.
"Haha, keep it clean for me then!" Yang Kai called after her, laughing. "I'll be back soon!"
Di Yalan stumbled, nearly tripping, her cheeks burning as she muttered, "Damn bastard!"

Yang Kai crouched silently in the canopy of an ancient tree, his breath steady and his dagger gripped tightly in his hand. With swift, practiced movements, he sliced a branch as thick as his arm from the tree, chopping it into five equal pieces. One by one, he sharpened the ends with his blade, then casually smeared a glistening coat of poison across each tip. The entire process took him no more than two minutes, his hands moving with the efficiency of a seasoned warrior.
Below, the jungle was quiet, save for the faint rustle of leaves in the distance. He had stayed behind to buy time for Di Yalan and Mu Yu Die, who were now fleeing deeper into the wilderness.
Yang Kai's lips curled into a faint, cold smile as he prepared his ambush.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps broke the silence. The group emerged into view, their eyes scanning the undergrowth for any sign of their prey. freewebnσvel.cѳm
Six pursuers trailed them—three from the Assassin group after Mu Yu Die and three from Mo Yanyu's family—having joined forces along the road.
Yang Kai watched the group of assassins split apart. Their true targets—Di Yalan and Mu Yu Die—had fled earlier, and now two of the masked killers broke away, sprinting after the girls into the dense jungle.
Without hesitation, Yang Kai hurled the first poisoned branch.
"Shoo!"
The sharpened stake cut through the dense foliage like an arrow, striking one of the assassins square in the chest. The man gasped, clutching at the wound as he collapsed, the poison already seeping into his veins. Before the others could fully react, Yang Kai launched three more in rapid succession.
"Shoo! Shoo! Shoo!"
The branches flew with deadly precision, each finding a target among the startled group. One pierced an assassin's thigh, another grazed a member of Mo Yanyu's family, and the third embedded itself in the ground as its intended victim dove aside. Chaos erupted as the survivors shouted, their eyes darting upward to locate their attacker.
Yang Kai didn't give them time to regroup. He leapt from the tree, landing lightly on the jungle floor, his dagger gleaming in the dim light. His eyes narrowed as he assessed his foes: six in total, though one was already down, writhing from the poison. Among them stood Mo Chaoge, a elder figure from Mo Yanyu's family, and Johnson.
Mo Chaoge stepped forward, his face twisting with disdain. "A young kid at the Transformation Stage at most! You sneaky with limited ability. Sorry, but I'm not interested. Just return what you stole from Master Karu ,Maybe I will leave you are full corpse."
Yang Kai remained silent, his gaze icy and unyielding.
Johnson sneered, cracking his knuckles. "Kid, come down. I won't use my weapon, and don't make me climb that tree to catch you. I'm in a hurry. Be quick."
"Yeah, I'm in a hurry too," Yang Kai replied, his voice calm and indifferent. In a flash, he hurled his dagger with all his might toward Mo Chaoge, then charged forward, his mind clearing of all thoughts save one: kill.
"Bang!"
As the dagger sailed through the air, Mo Chaoge deflected it with a casual flick of his wrist, his Yuan Qi flaring briefly. But Yang Kai was already upon him. A heavy jolt shook his mind, and he slipped into a heightened state of awareness. His senses sharpened—every rustle of leaves, every shift in the air became vivid. He could trace the flow of Yuan Qi coursing through Mo Chaoge's arm, predicting his movements with uncanny precision.
Mo Chaoge struck first, his fist surging forward with the power of the True Element Boundary Stage's peak. Yang Kai twisted aside, the blow grazing his shoulder, and retaliated with a swift kick aimed at Mo Chaoge's knee. The older man blocked with his forearm, but Yang Kai pressed the attack, his dagger flashing in his hand once more.
The fight was brutal and unrelenting. Mo Chaoge's cultivation far surpassed Yang Kai's, yet the boy fought with a ferocity that defied his realm. His immortality allowed him to trade injury for injury without hesitation. A punch shattered his ribs, only for them to knit back together moments later. A gash opened across his arm, but the bleeding stopped almost instantly.
Mo Chaoge's confidence faltered as Yang Kai absorbed blow after blow, his own strikes losing their effect. "What... what are you?" he stammered, fear creeping into his voice for the first time.
Yang Kai didn't respond. His eyes locked onto Mo Chaoge's neck, waiting for the perfect moment. In a lightning-fast feint, he darted left, then swung right. Mo Chaoge raised his arm to block, but the dagger slipped past, slashing across his throat with surgical precision.
Blood jetted from the wound as Mo Chaoge staggered back, his eyes wide with hatred and regret. He crumpled to the ground, lifeless, his Yuan Qi fading into the jungle air.
Yang Kai didn't pause to catch his breath. He turned to face the remaining enemies, his dagger dripping with blood. Johnson roared in fury looking at the body with horror "You little shit! You'll pay for that!"
Behind him, Mo Yanyu hesitated. Her face was pale, and she pressed a hand to her side, where a dark stain spread across her robes—blood from an earlier wound, perhaps inflicted by a jungle beast during their pursuit. "Stay back," she muttered to Johnson, her voice weak. "I'm... not in any condition to fight."
Johnson ignored her, hefting a heavy mace and charging at Yang Kai. As the mace swung down, Yang Kai ducked and rolled, the weapon smashing into the earth where he'd stood moments before.
With a deft sidestep, he drove his fist into Johnson's windpipe, a single, brutal strike. Johnson choked, his mace clattering to the ground as he collapsed, dead within moments. The fight was over almost as soon as it began.
Ten meters away stood Mo Yanyu of the Red Cloud Sect, her slender legs bare, her beauty as striking as ever. Her hair was a tangled mess, her pale face etched with exhaustion and fear, like she'd barely escaped a nightmare.
Yang Kai approached her. With a quick motion, he snatched a vine from the undergrowth and bound her wrists,
Mo Yanyu's eyes met his, wide with panic. "You—" she started but...
With a swift strike, Yang Kai knocked Mo Yanyu unconscious. He then carried her away with him into the jungle glancing in the direction the girls had fled. The two assassins chasing Di Yalan and Mu Yu Die weighed on his mind. He couldn't let them catch up to the girls—not after everything they'd been through.
