Chapter 159 - 159

"How can this be!!!"

When the demon lords saw the scene unfold, they froze slightly, their faces etched with disbelief.

They couldn't comprehend how the being before them could be so powerful.

From their perspective, the strength Finn exhibited should have only come from wielding the Sword of the Vishanti.

But clearly, that wasn't the case.

"Nothing is impossible. Even if you possess regenerative healing factors, you demons are destined for failure!!"

Finn descended from the sky, his hair whipping in the wind, body unwavering and tall like a true god of war—invincible and domineering. The force of his presence alone disturbed the balance of space.

"Boy, don't you think that claim is a bit exaggerated?"

The demon lords spoke with grim intensity. Their glowing eyes brimmed with lethal promise. Their sheer presence was overwhelming—to gaze at them was to risk being consumed.

Despite being bested, they were still confident that ultimate victory could be theirs.

BOOM!!!

As the standoff continued, the demon hordes were being systematically wiped out not far from the confrontation. Even worse, their numbers were dropping at an alarming rate.

The demon lords, upon witnessing this, could no longer maintain their previous composure. A flicker of horror crossed their gazes.

A horror they couldn't hide.

Their disbelief now deceived even themselves.

"Don't you understand the situation yet?"

Finn stepped forward, his voice icy. "I told you. In this current battle, you have no chance of victory!"

A wave of chilling aura burst forth from his body. The gravel around his feet levitated, swirling chaotically as if manipulated by an invisible force.

"Retreat!!!"

One of the demon lords roared toward the sky. The shrill screech echoed like a rending alarm.

Hearing this command, the demon hordes halted in place and turned to flee without hesitation.

"Trying to escape?!" frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

Finn scoffed, his voice brimming with lethal resolve. "It's far too late!!"

Without pause, his entire form shimmered and surged forward like a specter made of light. A streak of cosmic radiance barreled toward the fleeing demon lords.

"You alone think you can stop us from retreating?"

"You put far too much faith in your own power!"

The demon lords sneered. They didn't fear Finn.

They knew they couldn't match him head-on, but retreating was well within their capability—or so they thought.

"You'll see soon enough!!!"

Suddenly, Finn's voice pierced their ears like a whisper from a ghost. They turned to its source—but he was nowhere to be seen.

What the hell?

Before they could react further—BANG!!

Each one was blown backward, flung like ragdolls, kites with their strings cut.

"Damn it! We have to leave! Now!!"

"What about the plan?!"

"Forget the plan! That human's strength is far beyond our current capabilities!"

Despite being violently thrown, their tone remained analytical. They quickly weighed their options and turned into clouds of black mist, retreating into the shadows.

On the battlefield, only remnants of the demon forces remained.

But without exception, they were being crushed and annihilated by the Angelic faction.

This victory belonged to the Angels.

At last, cheers erupted. The battle had dragged on far too long.

Now, seeing victory so close, joy surged through every warrior.

Even their earlier fears and exhaustion were erased by triumph.

"We truly owe you this time, Finn. If it weren't for your intervention, the entire Angelic Order would have been decimated!"

Brice's expression was deadly serious. There was no trace of humor, only sincerity.

All prior mistrust between them had evaporated in smoke.

"Yes, thank you for stepping in.

"Those demon lords actually fled under your assault. I doubt they'll be returning anytime soon.

"The Elder Patriarch was right. You truly are a divine blessing!"

Other Angelic warriors echoed Brice's words, their gratitude genuine and deep. Without Finn, they would have been reduced to ash.

"It's nothing. But don't get comfortable. The demons will return eventually. The most important thing is to keep strengthening yourselves."

Finn paused, thinking for a moment. "And reinforce your barriers. We can't stay here forever."

He didn't sugarcoat anything. He said exactly what needed to be said.

Brice nodded firmly. "I understand. I'll report everything directly to the Elder Patriarch."

Finn could assist the Angelic Order once—maybe even twice.

But not forever.

Everyone had their own path. The battle between Angels and Demons was one the Angels had to fight themselves.

"In that case, we'll take our leave."

Finn nodded. As long as they understood, that was enough.

A few months was not a short amount of time, and there were many matters he had to address—

Creating new spells.

Studying the Darkhold.

Mastering new mystic arts.

These were responsibilities he could entrust to no one else.

"Understood."

Brice gestured for the other Angels to take over and led Finn back toward the main sanctuary.

By the time they returned, the Elder Patriarch was already waiting.

Seeing Finn alive and unharmed, a warm smile stretched across the Elder's face. It was a smile without falsehood.

"Welcome back, my friends. I'm so relieved you're all safe."

Tears glistened in the Elder's eyes as he spoke from the depths of his soul.
