Marvel: Symbiote Spider-Man (Moved)-Chapter 27: CH 26: Gwen’s Confession
Chapter 27 - CH 26: Gwen's Confession
After leaving Alicia at the nearby police station, Gwen walked into the alleyway Peter had told him to come. As she walked deeper and deeper into the alley, she kept looking around, searching for him.
"Peter?" She called out with a smile, before jumping when a voice spoke behind her "Boo."
"Aah!" She jumped and turned around to find him hanging upside down from his web. His mask off, revealing his mischievous grin. Glaring with a smile, she slapped his hard chest "Don't do that! Gosh, I thought I was gonna get robbed again for a second!"
He smiled, swinging slightly from her push "Sorry, sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. But what's a pretty girl like you doing in a dark alley like this, all alone?"
She raised an eyebrow, amused as she played along "Oh, just waiting for my date to come back?"
"What do you mean? Your date just left? Doesn't seem like such a good date. That's red flag behavior right there."
"Hey, you don't talk about him like that. He didn't "just" leave, he went to save innocent civilians from a rampaging monster by risking his own life, and it was only after making sure I was safe. So I won't let you or anybody else talk about him like that."
He smiled fondly "Hmm, you seem to care about him a lot."
Her blush grew a shade of crimson as she smiled softly "Hm, of course I do. How can I not when he's such an amazing person."
"Is he though?"
"Of course he is. You don't know the half of it. He's smart, handsome, funny, charming, kind, considerate, and although he is a bit socially awkward, he has a heart of gold that won't turn down anyone who genuinely asks for his help."
Gwen's gaze grew hotter as she looked into his eyes and stepped closer "And lately, he's become even more attractive. Taller, more muscular, stronger, faster. And the way he uses all of that to help people in need makes him so much hotter. But more than anything else, it's how he trusts me enough to share his secrets with me that makes me fall for him more and more, harder than ever."
Slowly, hesitantly, her hand moved to his messy hair. Playing with the brown, soft strands softly, before gently pushing her fingers through them when he leaned into her touch.
"He sounds like a wonderful guy."
She didn't know what to stare at anymore. His eyes, or his lips when they were so close. Mustering her courage, her other hand went into his hair as well "I already told you, you don't know the half of it." Before pulling him in for a kiss.
The kiss was gentle, full of fondness and longing with Gwen taking the lead. Her lips felt so good against him, felt so right, as if that's where they were supposed to be all along.
They didn't stop for several minutes. They couldn't. Not when they wanted each other so much. Not when they longed for each other so much. Gwen could only pull back for a bit to catch her breath before diving back into his lips all over again. Gently moving his head to deepen the kiss from time to time.
After a while, she pulled back. As she panted slightly, both of their lips swollen and red, she smiled gently at him "I just wish our feelings were mutual. Well... are they?"
Peter's heart beat harshly in his chest at the sight of her. Gwen looked so beautiful, so gorgeous. Especially with her pretty lips all swollen after kissing him like her life depended on it.
Finally, he let go of the web, flipped and landed smoothly on his feet. He looked into Gwen's eyes. He could see how hopeful they were, how loving they were. But he could also see the worry, the concern. She was afraid of rejection, from the guy she had been in love with for years.
Peter couldn't bear to see it. His heart couldn't handle seeing her so anxious. Gently, with a loving smile, he circled his arms around her thin waist and pulled her in. "Say it." He whispered "Say the magic words, and I'm all yours."
Pure happiness filled Gwen's eyes and heart to the brim. All her worries left her as she gently placed her hands on his chest and smiled happily "I... I-I like you, Peter. I've liked you all these years! But... I was afraid that you didn't like me back and that it would ruin our friendship. But I can't hold it anymore, Pete. I like you so, so much. Do you... like me too?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I do!" He grinned widely, causing her eyes to widen and light up in pure, unfiltered happiness "YEEESSS!!" She hugged him tightly, surprising him as she jumped up and down with her face buried in his chest "Hahahaha finally! You're finally my boyfriend hahahahaha!"
"Yes, I am." He laughed at how adorable she was. Gwen looked up at him, placing her delicate chin on his chest and grinning widely at him, showing off her beautiful teeth "Hehehehe and I'm your girlfriend!"
His heart melted at how precious she was. She was so adorable he couldn't help but lean down and steal a quick peck from her lips "Yes. Yes, you are."
Gwen jumped at the sudden kiss, a blush taking over before she hugged him tightly again while giggling uncontrollably. He could only stand there and let her love him aggressively. The way she would kick up her feet from behind from time to time made his heart melt even more.
After several minutes, when she calmed down but wasn't willing to let go, her smile of pure bliss further proof of it, Peter looked down "You know, I'm loving this situation right now. But how about we continue our date and cuddle in a more suitable place?"
"O-oh, sure! Yeah, you're right!" She let go and fixed his suit, embarrassment just hitting her after all of her acts were already done. She cringed at herself, but Peter suddenly grabbing her by the jaw and squeezing his cheeks in got her attention "Hey, I can basically see what you're thinking.
No, it wasn't cringe, so quit that. Believe me, I would do the same if at least one of us didn't need to stay sane while we're outside. Understand?"
And it felt as if all of the cringing and negative feelings were just kicked out of her. Gwen smiled, making Peter smile fondly at how cute it looked with her mouth squeezed in "Yes, Peter."
"Good." He pecked her mushed up lips again "Now let's go to the next spot, the bowling alley."
"Oh, oh, wait!" Gwen stopped him with an excited smile "Actually, I was thinking, how about instead of going to a bowling alley, we go somewhere quiet so you can show me your powers?"
"Hm? You sure? Wouldn't it be more fun to do something else though?"
"No, definitely not. The point of a date is to get to know your partner better. And what could be more fun than getting to see what my boyfriend can do? Hehehehe, boyfriend."
He smiled widely "Yeah, sure! I can definitely do that!"
Gwen hadn't seen him smile so widely this entire day. Well, except for when they made their relationship official. But seeing him so happy was contagious to her as well.
Peter's happiness was understandable. After all, now, his entire hobbies were based around powers and abilities. Gwen asking him to show them to her was basically like a girlfriend asking her boyfriend to show her his driving skills. Or better yet, his gaming skills.
"Oh, by the way!" He suddenly called out, catching her attention before he pointed at the emergency staircase above them "I picked up the stuff we bought before coming back."
Finding an abandoned place wasn't that hard at all. After a quick search on Google, they found an abandoned warehouse large enough for him to fool around in. (A/N: Something similar to the place in Amazing Spider-Man 1 where Peter swung from chains.)
And the rest of the afternoon was spent with Peter showing off his powers, from his strength and speed to his webs, Spider-Sense and even his Electrokinesis and Darkforce. He wasn't exactly going to hide those powers, especially the last two.
He always loved melee combat, but ranged combat had always been his calling. It's why he loved his tendrils so much. And the reason he loved these two powers in particular. He knew he was going to be using his Electrokinesis more often though.
After all, Darkforce was just simply way too destructive. Yes, more dangerous than actual electricity. While Electrokinesis was definitely dangerous and could fry someone to death instantly, Darkforce could easily vaporize people if he wasn't careful.
And he just loved Electrokinesis. He just couldn't get over lightning based powers in games. He was in love with Lightning Incantations in Elden Ring too. He couldn't wait to meet someone powerful so he could pull an Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike on their ass.
Peter gasped as he was channeling electricity between his hands "Gwen, I just got an idea!" He clapped his hands, making the lines of sparking electrics vanish "What if I could add other elements to my electricity and fuse them together?!
You know, like Frozen Lightning Spear! Hahahaha the villains and criminals would get electrocuted first and then frozen into statues! Hahahaha that would be a sight to see!"
Gwen chuckled awkwardly "Peter, I'm starting to feel bad for the bad guys you'll be dealing with. But yeah, I guess that would be cool, if it is possible. But I wanted to ask, how can you suddenly control electricity? I had never heard of Spider-Man being able to control electricity or lightning. And you hadn't told me anything about it either."
"Yeah, actually I woke up with it just this morning. I didn't have it before, that's for sure. But I guess my powers evolved again." He lied naturally with a shrug.
"Huh, your powers evolving sure are enviable. I bet other superheroes would lose their minds if they found out another superhero's powers were just evolving and giving him new powers. I mean, come on. First it was invisibility, and now it's Electrokinesis. And the other energy manipulation you call Darkforce."
"Heh, I'm just cool like that."
"Huh, I guess you are." She smiled in amusement, feeling smug that her boyfriend was so amazing "Actually, now that I think about it, I wouldn't be so surprised if you did suddenly get other elemental powers."
"Hahahaha, yeah, I wouldn't either." He chuckled, masking a smug face as the blood of Human Torch swirled in his biomass. He wouldn't be able to get his powers from just a single drop of blood before completely devouring a version of him, but with his current intelligence, creating a serum that replicated his powers wouldn't be an issue at all. Not like it hadn't happened before with a certain Super-Skrull.
'Man, I fucking love my Superhuman Intelligence.'

"Agent, give me a report on what happened this afternoon. Why did a goddamn bug monster from the Negative Zone just randomly and out of nowhere show up in the middle of Manhattan!"
In a certain aircraft carrier, a certain black man with a certain eye patch frowned deeply. "Sir, yes, sir!" The agent he called out to nodded and brought up images and recordings of what had happened before.
"This Negative Zone monster seems to have been teleported to New York because of a failed experiment done by Mr Reed Richards, AKA Mister Fantastic.
Although the members of Fantastic Four tried to contain it, there was still property damage to the surrounding streets, vehicles and buildings, but there were zero human casualties and injuries numbered quite low as well.
But from the looks of it, further damages were averted because of the new superhero called Spider-Man quickly appearing at the scene. In fact, it seems like he's the one who actually took care of the monster while the Fantastic Four simply assisted him."

"Spider-Man..." The black man's one eye narrowed "Yes, I remember him from a few reports, but he hasn't ever shown power of such scale to really put him on our radar. Hmm... keep an eye out for him. We may have just underestimated this new superhero."
