Mated To My Boyfriend's Dad-Chapter 180: Reckless Kill
Chapter 180: Reckless Kill
After also draining Nick’s cut-off arm of blood, Fergus began to clean up. He didn’t care to clean up the blood stains, instead picking up Nick’s corpse. He took off with his vamp speed and then dumped it into a hole he dug.
He’d been extra careful avoiding being seen during his walk in the pack with Nick earlier. Luckily for him, they’d taken secret routes, something Fergus was sure the late Cullen did as well. The last place people saw him with Nick was close to the bar, which was almost an hour ago.
Fergus had been reckless with this kill. He’d walked around with the victim before leading him to his house and killing him. But why? It was because he didn’t care anymore. He didn’t want to hide himself much anymore. Besides, he had a pretty alibi waiting for him back at the Gamma’s house.
Fergus waltzed with his vamp speed into the house, shutting the door lightly behind him. With his heightened hearing, he could pick up Lupe doing some laundry upstairs. Perfect. Fergus took to the stairs and entered Kylo’s room.
He took in a whiff of the air, smiling to himself when he realized Lupe hadn’t been here at all. Excellent. Now it would be easier for him to do what he was about to do. He washed off every trace of blood on his body, and also soaked his blood-stained clothes, taking his time to wash them by hand in Kylo’s bathroom. Then, he changed into some new clothes that he’d stolen from Kylo’s wardrobe.
"Oh, Lupe!" Fergus walked out of Kylo’s room, pretending like he hadn’t literally just entered there a few minutes ago. "Gosh, aren’t you done with cleaning up yet? Kylo and Isleen could be back any minute now."
Soon, Lupe popped out of the room she and Isleen slept In, gazing at Fergus with surprise etched on her face.
"Wh- I thought you went out for a walk or something? When did you get in?" Lupe squinted her eyes, her voice carrying a hint of suspicion as she looked at Fergus. freewebnøvel.com
Fergus smirked to himself. Getting out of this would be pretty easy for him.
Fergus spoke with arms crossed around his chest. "I got in like almost an hour ago. I heard you cleaning up, so I decided not to disturb you."
Then, without warning, Fergus got to Lupe, only a few inches away from her now. He grinned when he saw her eyes bulge with shock, as she tried pushing him away.
"Hey, dude back off. I’m not in for another of your misdeeds." She almost yelled, but Fergus held her arm, looking into her eyes.
She shivered under his gaze, her eyes trembling with fear. But soon, her shoulders slumped with defeat when Fergus kissed her with such a ferocity that left her breathless. It was sudden, not giving her any chance to retaliate.
Fergus couldn’t help laughing within himself when he felt her suspicions dying down, instead being replaced by pure desire, for him. It seemed this little wolf couldn’t get enough of him and his so-called ’misdeeds’.
He pinned her against the wall, kissing her even more now, his hands roaming her body. She moaned softly into his mouth, gasping for breath. But soon, just as fast as he’d kissed her, he pulled away, leaving her struggling for air, her cheeks flushed red.
With a shaky voice, Lupe spoke up. "What did you do that for?" She sounded pissed.
Why was she pissed? Because she couldn’t get enough of him? Or, perhaps she was getting confused by her feelings? Fergus didn’t care. All he knew was that she was simply another pawn in his ultimate plan.
Fergus burst into hysteric laughter before continuing, "Oh, don’t act like you didn’t like it, Lupe. You should’ve seen how breathless you were just now. It seems someone can’t get enough of me."
Lupe opened her mouth, closing it after she couldn’t come up with what to say. Just the reaction Fergus wanted from her. To leave her confused, would make her easier to manipulate. Easier to divert her mind from suspecting him. The kiss had been a simple diversion, but to Lupe, it was something much more. Fergus would use that to his advantage.
Lupe finally groaned with frustration, running her hands through her hair. "Ugh! Cullen, just leave me alone. You’re confusing me like crazy."
Fergus feigned a shocked gasp, placing his hand on his chest dramatically. "You feel confused because of me? I’m flattered, Lupe. Really."
Lupe rolled her eyes, as she turned away, heading back to her and Isleen’s room. But before she could go in, Fergus said something that managed to make her pause in her tracks.
"You weren’t able to even detect when I entered the house. You have to be more careful, Lupe. The pack isn’t exactly safe right now. What would you have done if it was some killer standing before you now and not just me?" He didn’t mince his words, watching as Lupe shivered with apprehension after he spoke.
He made a good point, but what use was it when the only ’killer’ here was himself? Haha, how ironic!
Lupe turned to look at Fergus, creasing her brows. "Since when did you become my dad, Cullen? I can take care of myself just fine, thank you very much." She eyed him with annoyance. "Now, if you’d excuse me."
With that, she walked into her and Isleen’s room, shutting the door rudely behind her. Fergus smirked. How feisty indeed.
Suddenly, his ears perked up at a sound coming from downstairs. There was a click on the door and someone walked in.
Isleen.
Fergus rubbed his palms with delight. It seemed his ’ex-mom’ was back from her wild goose chase, in search of her son. If only she knew her so-called ’son’ was still under the same roof as her.
He couldn’t wait to see the defeated look on her face. The despair. The thought that he’d played Liam’s role so well that he’d made Isleen so affected by him getting missing made him feel proud. Now he just had to make sure he played Cullen’s role with even more grace.
He walked down the stairs, his eyes landing on Isleen’s back. Her hands were still holding the door handle, a sigh escaping her lips.
Hehe. She was defeated alright. But it also seemed like she’d...given up.
Imitating Cullen’s voice to the best of his abilities, Fergus spoke. "Look who finally decided to grace us with her presence."
