Aria pov

I stared at the weird lady Jaxon had just called Arya could be. He stood up immediately like he was being chased around towards her as he flung her out of the hospital room.

I badly wanted to follow them and find out who exactly she was, but I decided to be patient and watch. At least he will come back inside, and then I can question him to my satisfaction. But as I sat there waiting for them to return to the room, I became too curious.

Then, I still tried my best to stand up; That was how curious I was. I slowly leaped towards the door and cracked it open, hiding in between it as I picked up and listened to their conversation. She seemed happy, but he was really angry.

She seemed nice; after all, she had a bouquet of flowers in her hands for me.

"I would not ask you again. Why exactly are you here, Arya," he muttered to the lady. She began to chuckle as she pulled her hand from his before folding it, staring directly into his eyes.

"Why are you hiding me this way? I just came to check on her, and now you made me seem like a total thief or someone who murdered someone. I just came to check on her; what is so offensive about that, or I also don’t have the right to check on her?" the lady said, or should I say Aria? He turned around to glance towards the hospital door, but I was faster than him.

I quickly closed it back, and after a few seconds of not hearing any sound from him, I opened it only to see that he was dragging her away. This was just so frustrating, but it was also a good thing, at least due to my curiosity. I was able to stand up despite not being able even to move my body.

I walked towards the wardrobe, which was now filled up with all my clothes. Due to how long I have been in this hospital, I brought out the bag my clothes were used to transport them here and began arranging them.

"I am not going to waste one more minute in this hospital," I mutter as I fold all my clothes into the bag in a hurry and then zip it up and place it on the bed., I waited for him to come back inside. It took him a few minutes, but he returned without the weird lady and the flowers in his hand. He placed it in one of the vases, which had flowers, too, but they had already rotten, and smiled at me awkwardly.

Not until he noticed the bag on the bed and saw I was no longer wearing the hospital gown.

"What is going on? Why is there a bag on the bed, and you are all dressed? You still have to stay here for two more days and heal from all the surgeries, or do you not want that?"Jaxon said to me, but I did not care and lifted the back from the bed.

Walking towards the door, he noticed my anger and pulled me back.

"What exactly is wrong with you?"He said to me, but I rolled my eyes in disgust and annoyance. I was just so angry with him. He was acting like he was so innocent. At least she did something reasonable and came to check on me.

And then I turned my attention to Mary, who was sitting in the corner and seemed so surprised,

@and you Mary, you are no longer the kind of friend I took you to be. You knew this lady but decided to be silent. I can no longer trust her unless you tell me who the lady is." I said to her in annoyance

She seems silent like she has seen a ghost or something. She stared at my town like she was scared of speaking out.

Jaxon also noticed and slowly walked out of the room even before, Jaxon could close the door. She ran towards the door and jammed it short before pulling me to the bed as she sat me down.

"Why are you still close with Jaxon?" She whispered to me as she stared at the door. The question was so funny that I could not help But chuckle at her.

"Jaxon is my brother; should I have disowned him or what I said to her?" She shook her head sideways. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

"Do you remember that he went off the rig for five days? You called him multiple times, but he did not pick up. What if he was with Arya all along?"Mary said to me, but the assumptions seem so funny to me. I couldn’t help but chuckle.

"How can you say something like I know she is someone who just walked into my life today? I don’t know anything about her but I am more than sure that she isn’t the one he was with." I said to her.

Staring at Mary, I could tell she was unconvinced by what I said. Even if I did not trust Jaxon, I didn’t have a choice; There was not anyone else to trust after all.

I decided to ask Mary about Timothy if she could find my address. That means she knows where Tim is.

"Have you heard from Tim since then?" I told her, but suddenly, she seemed shocked.

In a way, I could not understand why Tim Name gave her so much shock.

"He was the one who gave me the address to this place, so of course, I saw him multiple times, but I do not want us to talk about Timothy but Jaxon. He is the main topic of the subject today."Mary said, puzzling me again.

"Fine, what exactly about Jaxon do you want to talk about?" I said to her.

"You need to return to school on Monday if you want to find out."
