Chapter 86: Chapter 86

Aria pov

After my little discussion with Timothy, I walked down the school hallway as everyone was now in their class, and I was a few minutes late for my class.

I hurried to my locker and brought out my books as I ran to class. I entered, and Mary was going through her phone, but I could tell she was eavesdropping on Jaxon and Maya’s discussion.

That was when I realized something: Jaxon and Maya were talking to each other. What else did Jaxon want to do to me? Does he want to kill me? Or give hypertension just by going around with Rachel, who is so frustrating and one of the worst people I’ve ever known, and now it is Maya;

What is so important that he has to discuss with Maya? I strolled into the class, and hopefully and thankfully, the teacher had not yet arrived. I ran to my seat and sat down.

Then I heard a few giggles from behind me, even though I wanted to tell Mary hi or discuss with her before the teacher arrived. I could not do it because of that, witch they call Rachel.

I decided I would not act as rationally as I did before. I was going to be calm and take my time. Instead, I just sat there and went through my phone.

I felt a present soon beside me, and it was Mary. She giggled beside me, and I turned to her with a wide smile.

"I wanted to come and talk to you, but going to your seat would cause a little commotion for me," I said to her as she seemed confused. I forgot I had not told her anything about my little issue with Rachel, and I guess the news did not spread far enough for Mary to have a hint about what happened.

" What do you mean by your little accident with Rachel? I thought you guys had not been able to talk to each other yet," Mary said. But as I could tell the environment, I knew that Rachel was listening very closely to me, and she would quickly notice if I told Mary anything. I turned to Mary with a smile. "Do not worry; I will tell you everything later after class. The lecturer can work anytime now;" I said to her as she nodded before returning to her seat.

I looked down and noticed she had dropped a paper for me before walking away. I slowly opened the paper, which had a written note, but at the end, it was Jaxon’s signature. This was a letter from Jaxon. I turned quickly to Jaxon as he smiled, but I rolled my eyes. I was still angry with him. no matter how hard you would show me, I would still be angry with him. I opened the letter very boldly and read through it only to be shocked, and he was asking for my forgiveness.

" What sort of forgiveness was I meant to give to him? He did not deserve any of it." I squeezed the papers, stood up, and threw them into one of the trash bins, making sure he was looking at me as he was shocked.

Just as I threw it away and was about to take my seat, Jaxon stood up angrily and was about to drag me out of the class when the teacher walked in.

I had a sigh of relief that the teacher had just saved my life because I did not want to have any close encounter or conversation with Jaxon.

He calmly took his seat back, and I did not even flinch, even though I knew he was coming for me. I turned my eyes slightly to Rachel, who was at the corner, as she looked so angry and jealous. I smiled at her.

I greeted her before looking back at my desk as the class began. After the class was over I hurriedly began to pack all my things and ready to leave the class, Even though I had a lot of things, I still needed to read about them.

I knew I could do that in the library where Jaxon would not find me, but sitting down in the class and waiting for him would just make everything more frustrating because he would try the same thing he had done earlier, and I was not really in the mood for anything of that sort. I packed all my things and rushed to Mary, who was also ready.

"Why are you in a hurry?I thought you were the kind of person who always takes extra classes reading," Mary said, and I could tell that she was acting naive because she did not understand my feelings.

I smiled awkwardly at her as I turned to Jaxon, sitting there and pretending to be going through his phone.

Even Rachel was not by his side, and I could tell he just wanted to do the same thing he had done before, which was not what I wanted.

I pulled Mary closer to me before whispering;

"I have a change of plans. I do not want to sit in the class anymore; do not worry; every question you ask me has an answer, and I would not rush you. I will tell you everything" I said to her as she nodded before packing her bag, and we both walked out.

I did not even bother checking on Jaxon; after all, he brought this upon himself by betraying me this way, and I would not forgive him if he forced me. Just as I walked out of the class, I saw Rachel, and she was doing something unimaginable. How dare she evade my privacy this way?

She smiled at me as all the other student giggled, this was definitely not going to end well at all....Rachel had just clearly prove herself to be much more worse than Maya, if Maya was going to make life a living hell for me and Rachel had already started making life miserable for me.
