Meteor Fall Master in the 'Starry Abyss'-Chapter 1342 - 281: Void Route: Toward the [White Wolf] Ending (6)_8
————[Mass Abyss]
"Ah, this familiar aura."
[Scholar] Lyle Sventler gazed at the light, and slightly smiled:
"It can only be you, Lord Leoz. You've finally reached this point, you didn't disappoint me."
"So everything was part of your plan, Secret Council Speaker."
A slender man sat casually beside the tea table and teased:
"If Gaia knew letting Leoz go back then would lead to this result, would she regret it?"
"Then you underestimate Gaia. Though this level is impressive, it's far from enough to deal with Gaia."
"Is that so? I feel that this ability is already enough to defeat both you and Anpolo, and if Redd Gold stands with him as you say, it should be enough to deal with Gaia, right?"
"I don't know, but Gaia might not even care about these things. Instead, you, with such tight attention on you lately, still dare to show up."
Lyle turned around, playfully glancing at the man:
"Seems like you've invested quite a lot in Leoz, giving you such confidence—[Primeval Heavenly Sovereign] Sorao Piarinus."
"I haven't only invested in this one."
The man laughed casually:
"Casting a wide net always avoids ending up empty—see, a prehistoric giant shark showed up for me."
————Nether Abyss
The Underworld Water surged forward day and night, crushing and grinding countless soul spirits, fusing and settling them, eventually transforming into new souls, sent into humanity's service.
The Nether River, the final destination of Starry Abyss life, is also the beginning of rebirth.
If Lai Anding is the mother, then the Nether River assumes the father's role. Without the flow of the Nether River, redundant information cannot be refined, and the universe would be filled with unabsorbable waste energy, slowly returning the world to an unopened chaotic state.
Yet, at this moment, the Underworld Water is not at peace.
[Nether River Ferryman] Aver Vajra Lunyevka held his small boat with one hand, standing in the center of the river, the other hand gripping a pale scythe, staring at the sky above.
Endless darkness shrouded the Nether River, oppressive like storm clouds refusing to dissipate.
"Anpolo, speak."
Aver said coldly:
"Nether River Holy Land is not a place that Earthlings can defile."
"I'm not here for the Nether River."
In the dark, a surge arose, and a white-haired, aged elder emerged, the black coffin on his back and the Titans gathering on both banks confirming his identity.
One of the Secret Speakers, [Dark Titan] Gelbroth of the Destroyers, [Emperor] Anpolo.
Honestly, Aver knew too well he was no match for such an existence.
However, beneath him lay the Nether River, crucial to the beings of Starry Abyss. If he retreated, no one could stop the Earth invaders from flaunting in Starry Abyss.
"If you're not here for the Nether River, why would you suddenly descend from the Mass Abyss? Not seeking trouble with [Scholar] Lyle in this uncharted realm, what's your aim?"
Aver unceremoniously issued the eviction order:
"State your intention and then leave. If you dare commit sacrilege, even if Gaia were here, she couldn't save you!"
"Nether Abyss lacks the strength, I'm not here for you either, you're as unworthy as the Nether Abyss."
[Emperor] Anpolo opened his palm, saying:
"I'm searching for someone—David Lyn, he should have died decades ago. You don't need to hand him over to me, just tell me if he's in the Nether River, that's enough."
"David Lyn? Haven't heard the name; not even anyone with the same name."
"You mean, he didn't enter the Nether River's cycle?"
"Literal meaning, as to how you interpret it, think for yourself."
Anpolo fell into silence, seemingly contemplating whether to make a move.
Aver gripped the scythe tighter, his skin porcelainized, ready to unfold the Divine Country at any moment.
In the tension, dazzling starlight pierced the dark sky, like radiant glow of salvation, illuminating the gloomy Nether Abyss.
The Underworld Water seemed to boil over, souls continuously reaching out arms, attempting to break free of the Nether River's constraints. In an instant, soul upon soul, humans, ghosts, demons, beasts, birds, all reaching towards the starlight.
"This light..." Aver was surprised: "These are lost souls without consciousness, dying in despair, why are they now filled with such vigor."
"When that starlight descends, the legend descends, hope is regained..."
Anpolo murmured, perhaps recalling something, then vanished into the darkness.
Soon, Anpolo and the Titan Giants along the banks disappeared entirely, leaving Aver, head aching, gazing at the Nether River now engulfed in frenzy.
————Beyond the Primordial Abyss.
"Ah, how beautiful the starlight is."
A girl with black long hair and transparent silver eyes swung her legs; she wore a simple floral dress, and whether it was her Mediterranean complexion or the ice pop in her mouth, made her seem like an ordinary girl next door.
"Crunch."
The silver-eyed girl licked the ice pop, sitting casually on Law Ghost, turning to gaze at the cosmos ahead:
"No matter who you consider as the Savior, it's the same to me."
The silver eyes slowly rotated, the girl gently stroked the tamed Primordial Species and said:
"After all, I am Gaia, mother to many; a mother is one who would destroy the world for her children."
