Mind Demon's Path of Domination-Chapter 261 Clara
Ryan groaned as he dusted himself up. His eyes were full of dust and he had accidently swallowed some spiderwebs while sliding down through the narrow passage to this underground space. It made all of his joints and muscles scream in aggression towards him.
Yes, he was not in his main body. This body was much like a human body, in that it felt its muscles go sore, felt energy levels drop randomly, and heck, it even felt a bit cold. But due to his main body being in a constant adrenaline state, it also affected this body, making it feel no issue walking through pain.
Ryan used that to his advantage and surveyed his new location.
He was in a dimly lit cave, covered with silent vines that sent chills down his back. He could see ants and some other tiny insects crawling around, and there were small spiders and spiderweb scattered across, but other than that, the place was quiet and lifeless.
Where to next? He wondered.
Suddenly, he felt a sensation and looked back. Then, he froze. There was a hole in the distance, through which some sort of light shined into the cave. Scrambling towards it while avoiding the vines, Ryan soon reached it and poked his head through the hole.
His blood went still at the sight.
There was a giant creature with green leaves instead of skin. It had a humanoid shape but it was anything but human. The thing was so gigantic that it completely dwarfed all the creatures he had seen before through his short life.
And at the top of its head, which resembled a planet, there was a tree. And that tree stretched upto the ceiling of this gigantic cavern and went through the ceiling to reach beyond. Ryan immediately understood who the creature was.
It was the main body of the weird tree that sealed his mentors outside. The weird tree outside was just the creature's… hair? Crown?
Something.
Sweat dripping due to the sensation of having seen something he shouldn't be around, Ryan gulped. What was this creature? What Tier was it? Was it even possible to count this thing's strength?
He had a feeling that even the Violet Mirror in Mark's hand wouldn't be able to sense anything from this thing. In fact, he felt as if he was staring at a giant wooden statue himself.
"Isn't it majestic?" Someone asked and Ryan felt a cool pair of arms coyly wrapping around his neck from the back.
At the same time, the familiar sensation of a soft body pressing against his back made him understand it was a woman---and a stunning one at that. She was also just the size of a small fairy for some reason, which made her just a bit shorter than himself.
Ryan didn't feel any fear, if this sudden appearance wanted to kill him, he would already be dead.
"It is a majestic thing," Ryan replied, truly in awe of the giant tree 'statue' before him.
He was indeed in awe. In fact, he wouldn't mind bowing in respect for what this creature represented. He didn't know what it was, but he could appreciate an art-like creation.
One didn't have to be Mozart to know beauty. Just as one didn't need to be Shakespeare to appreciate poetry, one didn't need to be a God to see the beauty of one in the flesh.
"You are not afraid," the girl with an airy voice said with a chuckle. "I am a Lower Demon, you know? I could kill you with my breath. And my hands are wrapped around you, so there is not even a route of escape for you."
Ryan smirked. A Lower Demon? That was just Tier 1, and yeah, even though she could kill him, would she dare?
But it was rare to see such an intelligent Tier 1. Even Dona was not as intelligent as her, and Dona was already a Tier 2.
Ryan said: "I mean, would I still be a man if I am afraid and not elated when a beauty wraps her hands around my neck?"
He turned to look at her. She looked like the very representation of outer space. Her pupils looked to contain a vast, starry sky within. Her locks of hair were dark—so dark–-it didn't even reflect light. Her body was lithe, her hold was venomous, and her smile was deadly alluring.
She was akin to a blackhole ready to devour its prey.
This was deadly charm and Ryan could read her intention at one gaze. She wanted to seduce him and then just make him subservient due to his adoration of her, without providing any real benefit for him but making him believe she was his.
It was the classic honey trap without true honey for the prey.
Ryan closed his face towards hers, gently sniffing the deep feminine scent.
"Oh, flirting with death you are—" she said but stopped speaking as Ryan's lips stole an effortless kiss from her.
She had figured he was bold, but he was beyond bold—he quickly shifted his position and wrapped his hand around her waist. He even pressed her whole body against himself as if she were his own.
"I'll kill you," she said with obvious distaste after his tongue moved out.
"You wouldn't dare to kill me," Ryan said with a chuckle. "I don't know for sure, but the aura of your masters is on me, right?"
Otherwise, she wouldn't bother trying to seduce a Tier 0 trash like his current self. She had seen his unique influence over the great beings sealed above and she wanted to seduce him to get some benefits herself.
It was all clear to Ryan.
He was Mark after all. How could anyone play with his mind so easily?
She clicked her tongue as Ryan pressed his nose against hers. She said: "I only have one master and that's myself. I am working under those sealed above, sure, but I am no slave you little shit. And listen well, I am afraid of your influence but not afraid enough to let you do whatever."
Ryan's eyes lit up, and in his surprise, he stole another kiss from the tomboy. She was startled for a moment before she just pushed him away and dusted her clothes. There was an irritated expression on her pretty face, and it was for a very valid reason.
But what could he do? She was just the type of woman he adored.
The woman sighed.
She had been told, using a unique method, by her current employer—the Succubus—to help Ryan reach the Demon Suppression Birthland. She had kept herself away from such wanton men for so long, but this guy was looking at her like his own possession. And she had even been taken advantage of.
Such filth men were.

If she could let go of herself and use her powers…
I could kill him if I want.
"So they told you to help me?"
"Indeed. They told her to help you," another voice came and Ryan turned to look at another fairy-sized humanoid creature coming towards him. It was a buff man with a blade on his back. "You have the aura of the Great Beings on you, and it screams you are important. She wanted to seduce you, but indeed, you are no normal man to be taken advantage of so easily."
"I am indeed nothing normal," Ryan said with a puffed up chest. "And yeah,"—He wrapped his hand around the woman's shoulders—"this girl could never deceive me. Though she could charm me if she becomes more honest."

She clicked her tongue. "Name's Clara, and I have no interest in charming anyone. I am from the Worm Hole demonic clan, so I have the ability to teleport home anytime I wish. Of course, if I do that, I will be asleep for a decade. So what I mean is, even those sealed above can't kill me. So your influence isn't much to me. If you want business, we can do business though."
Ryan was surprised. She could move out of this eccentric place whenever she wanted?
Then couldn't the 'Great Beings' sealed above make her help them to convey their locations to their forces?
But Ryan soon understood after thinking for a second. If she used the teleport back home ability, she would fall asleep for a decade, and in that time, the 'Great Beings' would all die. Sealed here, with the tree absorbing their energies, they might not be able to last an whole decade.
Ryan ruffled Clara's hair. "Good name and nice background. I am Ryan, Clone of a Great Being myself."
The buff man remained silent. In his circle, Clara was a big deal. She was from a reputed Clan and had a Grandfather who was an Upper Demon. She was adored by the grandfather, so no one gave her much trouble. Even the Great Beings above only saw her as an employee, and not a slave.
Apparently, the Upper Demon grandfather wasn't just on his own—that person's brother was a Tier 6 being. Thus, Clara's uncle was a Tier 6! No wonder she wasn't anyone's slave. But that haughty woman was being played around so casually and she didn't really seem to hate it.
She had always looked at him and other minions so coldly.
Was this the advantage of having a handsome appearance?
Or was it because Ryan was the clone of a Great Being?
The buff man, who was the Blade Demon's slave, felt an unprecedented amount of jelousy for the young man with silver eyes. He just remained silent though.
Ryan then looked at him. "Your name?"
"I don't have a name, my master just calls me whatever comes to mind."
Clara smirked. "Annoying, right?"
"Indeed," Ryan nodded, resting his jaw on the woman's shoulder as if it were his place to be. "So, are you single?"
She gave him a side eye. "Yes, but I hate men. I've been with a bunch of women before though and I didn't like any of them much either."
"I have a feeling we will like each other."
The buff man remained silent. Can relationships be so simple?
He hated Ryan so much.
