"Mnh…"

Not knowing how much time had passed since he fell unconscious, Valyr slowly roused his consciousness out of slumber as he sat upright.

Then, giving his consciousness a bit more time to fully awaken, he eventually went ahead and opened his eyes, only to be left speechless by the sight surrounding him.

"This…" Expecting himself to still be inside Mystia's room after falling unconscious for who knows how long, the young man was instead caught off guard after seeing he was at the center of what looked to be a world made out of deep blue clouds.

Standing up with a bit of apprehension, Valyr faintly let out a sigh of relief the moment he confirmed that the clouds making up the ground could bear his weight.

Closing his eyes for a bit as he processed the current situation he was in, the young man eventually let out a low sigh as he opened his eyes, shaking his head as he started to explore his surroundings.

"Where… am I exactly?" murmured Valyr to himself, his thoughts briefly recalling the sequence of events that led up to his current situation.

'From what I remember, after I was done concocting the batch of Nascent Rebirth Elixir, Mystia bottled it up for me before giving it to me to consume.'

'Then, with her spurring me to consume the elixir as soon as possible, I went ahead and did as told, only to feel like I was being connected to some higher realm.'

'I'm guessing this is that higher realm, then,' thought the young man to himself, continuing to explore his surroundings as he proceeded where he left off on his train of thought.

'In any case, after sensing the energy that was coming from this higher realm, my body decided to absorb the energy on its own, causing me to feel like something special was happening to it.'

'However, just as I thought that the elixir's effects would stop there, a terrifying pressure appeared within Mystia's room all of a sudden, pushing both of us down on the ground as much as possible.'

As he came to this part of his memory, the young man faintly shuddered, vividly recalling the oppressive nature of the pressure that pressed down on him.

Though he wasn't sure how strong exactly that pressure was, the young man was confident that the pressure had already exceeded the level of what a Myth-level being could unleash.

Or perhaps… it was beyond the level of what a Divine-level being could unleash.

"After that, I fell unconscious and appeared here as I came to," muttered the young man to himself, still unsure as to why he was in this peculiar world in the first place.

Thankfully, after sorting out his thoughts and exploring the world he was in for just a bit longer, a change finally occurred as the clouds began to change color.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

What was originally a sea of deep blue clouds gradually took on an emerald green hue, reminding of the vast plains he used to traverse back in his other identity.

Though, not even a few seconds later, the clouds changed color once more, taking on a lustrous violet reminiscent of amethyst.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

As more and more time passed, the more often the clouds changed color.

In fact, with how he focused all of his attention on the clouds, the young man eventually noticed that some of the colors weren't so easily described with words.

However, Valyr decided to set those thoughts aside for now, curious as to when the clouds would stop changing color.

Swoosh!

Fortunately, it only took 10 minutes of continuous shifting for the clouds to settle on another color once more, taking on a metallic color reminiscent of brushed platinum.

Though, just as he began to admire the new color the clouds had taken on, a rift appeared a few dozen meters away from Valyr out of nowhere, prompting the latter to focus his attention on it as he noticed a person appear out of it.

Whoosh!

Shifting his attention towards this person, the young man's eyes widened in shock once he noticed that the person was at least thrice his height.

Aside from that, the person wore a white tunic that accentuated their bountiful curves, the fabric being fixed in place with the help of a leather belt around their waist.

With a silver tiara accompanying a head of pink hair that turned lavender below the shoulders, Valyr immediately got an ethereal feeling from this person, only for it to turn into slight fear as they moved closer towards him.

After all, although such a person would normally be the center of attention due to their beauty, the person he was looking at… had no facial features whatsoever.

"…" Feeling a slight oppressive pressure from them as they stood a couple meters away from him, Valyr felt like he was being stared at as the being's head was turned in his general direction.

"…Ataraxia." Briefly wondering if this being would just continue to stare down at him in silence, a voice that sounded like a mix of various voices echoed throughout the surroundings all of a sudden, causing the young man to look around for a bit to see where the voices came from.

"Wait…" Then again, it did not take that long for him to figure it out, eventually noticing that the voice calling out to him was loudest when he was near the tall entity. "You're the one doing that?"

"…Who else would I be talking to?" responded the voice after a bit of silence, finally confirming Valyr's speculations.

"…Ataraxia." Seeing that the young man had focused all his attention on her after that, the entity gave off a feeling of contentment as she nodded. "…Are you… finally ready to listen?"

In response, Valyr nodded, looking back at the entity with a solemn expression.

"…Let me introduce myself first." Nodding back in return, the entity decided to introduce herself to Valyr as a start, knowing that her identity would help answer some of the questions plaguing his mind.

"…As you might have already noticed, I have full control over this world."

"I am the god of this world… yet I am also the god of everything in the universe you live in."

"Specifically, everything in existence that involves the concept of magic."

"…I am the Quintessence of the Arcane Concept, the personification and embodiment of magic itself," said the entity to Valyr.

"…Of course, a name like that is too long to pronounce."

"…So, feel free to call me Arcane instead."
