Chapter 123: Chapter 123. Events
*Ultron, can you buy me the ability to clean anything?*
*Purchasing the Clean spell for 50 SP... Complete. 421,950 SP remaining.*
I used the spell and cleaned the entire room, including Jooli and myself. After that, I moved Jooli to the bed. With nothing else to do, I picked up my phone to browse the internet. I came across an article about how the agency is getting a significant cut from the idols’ endorsements.
"I should revise this arrangement later; it’s daylight robbery. Well, with me here, that will change soon. JYP previously managed Bae Suzy? She’s so beautiful. Oh, JYP also manages TWICE."
I watched videos for a while until I received a message from George.
"Neo, are you still locked up in your room? The others are worried about you. We’re almost at the hotel; at least show yourself!" I laughed and replied, "I’m going out, but I’m going to borrow Hyung to drive me there. I’ll be waiting in the lobby."
After taking a shower and getting dressed, I felt refreshed, even though I used the spell to clean myself I couldn’t leave the room without taking a shower. Before leaving, I wrote a note to Jooli, letting her know I would be gone for a few hours. Once I exited the room, I made my way down to the lobby to wait for Amelia and the others.
"I told you, Neo is over there," George pointed to where I was sitting. They approached me.
"Neo, where have you been? We haven’t seen you in at least eight days!" Bea asked.
"Ah, don’t worry about me. I’m a busy person. I’m doing business here," I replied with a smile.
"What kind of business?" Mika inquired.
"My business is... finding beautiful girls," I said, spreading my arms wide.
"Damn! And here we are, worrying about you," Jane remarked.
"I told you; Neo will be fine," Amelia chimed in. She had already assured them that I would be okay and might even be out looking for beautiful girls, but they still worried.
"You guys should rest. I’m going to borrow Hyung to drive me," I said as I stood up and patted their shoulders before walking out.
"Who do you think he’ll meet?" Brent wondered.
"Not sure. I only know four girls that Neo is interested in: Han So-Hee, Nancy, Kim Yoo-Jung, and Bae Suzy," George replied.
"Many Koreans will definitely hate Neo for this," Tristan added.
"For sure. You know how Koreans treat their idols. They worship them like gods who can do no wrong," Mika pointed out.
"Yeah, but once you make a mistake, they’ll be quick to criticize you," Jane said.
"It’s the same everywhere. People’s jealousy is quite common. When they see someone living the life they desire, they wait for that person to slip up," Remi commented.
"True, but Koreans are particularly known for this behavior. Anyway, now that we’ve seen Neo, let’s rest. I’m tired," Amelia concluded.
While the group was chatting, I had already exited the building and spotted Hoon and Hyung.
"Boss, nice to see you again!" Hoon greeted me.
"Where are we going, boss?" Hyung asked.
"Hello, Hyung and Hoon. Can you drop me off here before you head home? I’m meeting some people," I said.
"Okay, it’s not far, just a 20-minute ride. Let’s go, boss; hop in!" Hyung replied.
I climbed into the car, and Hoon followed me inside. Hyung started the car and drove off.
"By the way, Hoon, your friend Jooli just visited me," I mentioned.
"Hmm, she asked me before when I upload a picture and tag you. That was the first time she showed interest like this," Hoon explained.
"So, where did you meet her? She’s beautiful," I said.
"We were schoolmates in junior high, boss. We became friends there, but after graduating, she moved out of Korea to study abroad. She’s your typical beautiful Asian rich girl," Hoon and I continued discussing Jooli for a few more minutes.
"Boss, we’re already here," Hyung’s voice sounded.
"Oh, okay." I opened the door and stepped out. "You can rest now, Hyung and Hoon."
"Okay, boss. Take care." Hoon looked at the building, wondering why so many expensive cars were parked here.
"Call me if you need anything. Bye," Hyung said before driving off with Hoon.
Neo looked around. This place was really suited for events. Even though he wasn’t inside yet, the luxury of the interior design was already evident.
Reaching into my pocket, I took out my phone. It was already 6:10. I dialed Yeji’s number.
"Yeji, I’m already outside. Where should I go?" I asked.
"Neo, wait for me. I’ll pick you up." Yeji, who was already sitting at the venue with Itzy, stood up. The others noticed her and asked, "Is that Neo?"
"Yeah, he’s already outside. I’m going to pick him up," Yeji replied.
J.Y. Park, who was near their table, overheard them. "Let’s go, Yeji. It’s not appropriate for me not to receive him," he said, drawing the attention of everyone in the venue.
"Okay, Director. Let’s go together," Yeji answered. J.Y. Park and Yeji walked together, and everyone was excited, curious about Neo.
"So, Yeji, how do we approach him? Any tips?" J.Y. Park asked.
"Hmm, I don’t know. You can just act normal, Director. Neo behaves like a regular person; if not for his super handsome looks, people would think he’s just an ordinary guy. He’s kind too, so don’t worry," Yeji said as they walked.
"You have a positive view of him, Yeji. Tell me, are you in love with him? If so, go for it. Neo already has many girlfriends; adding you wouldn’t be a big deal anymore, I think. But for Koreans, that could blow up. Whether you’ll get support or not is entirely unknown," J.Y. Park commented.
"Hmm, I know how Koreans will react. They will bash me for it, but I don’t care," Yeji replied, spotting Neo at the entrance. "There he is!"
"Neo, over here!" Yeji called. Neo, who was standing to the side, heard her voice. As he approached, Yeji hugged his neck and kissed him on the lips.
Not wanting to miss the opportunity, he held her waist, lifted her slightly, and kissed her back fiercely. After a few seconds, they separated, and he admired her beauty. She was wearing a white off-shoulder dress.
"You look so pretty, Yeji. And look, all the cameras are pointed at us because you kissed me suddenly," he said.
"I don’t care, Neo. Let them take as many pictures as they want. By the way, this is our director, J.Y. Park," she said with a smile, introducing him to Neo.
J.Y. Park, who was walking beside Yeji, was shocked. He hadn’t expected Yeji to do something like that in front of so many cameras. He could only smile as he watched them. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
"Hello, sir. I’m J.Y. Park. Nice to meet you today," he said humbly.
"Hi, Neo here. Nice to meet you, J.Y. Park," Neo replied, shaking his hand.
"Let’s go inside; everyone is waiting for you," J.Y. Park said.
I smiled and walked with Yeji, reaching out to hold her arm, our fingers intertwined as we entered the venue together.
J.Y. Park, leading the way, opened the venue’s door. Once inside, cameras pointed at us, and many people from J.Y. Park Entertainment looked our way.
