Mr Alpha, I Am Not Your Typical Lady!-Chapter 126) Fireball and Irving/ Kill me?

"Impossible. You fought a hybrid creature that could talk?". Beta Damien asked me. It must be shocking to him, because, how could any hybrid creature speak?

They were just savage beasts.

"Yes, Beta Damien. And, the hybrid creature could dodge my attacks really fast. It was indeed a tough battle". I replied to him before I zoned out as I thought to myself, ’If it wasn’t because that savage hybrid creature was holding Anders captive, I could have used my powers of light to easily defeat it’.

Beta Damien remained quiet for a while. His gaze was elsewhere, as if he was lost in his thoughts, just like me. Suddenly, he turned to me and said, "After you defeated the hybrid creature and returned to your hotel room, did you by chance see a young lady and a young man in your hotel room?".

His question was sudden and weird.

’A young man and a young lady?’. I wondered. "No. I didn’t see anyone like that in my hotel room. Did you see anyone like that in my hotel room?".

Beta Damien nodded at me. "They were sitting on your sofa when I arrived in your hotel room. But after I left to check up on you in your bedroom, I returned to the living room and could not find or see them anymore". He explained.

’Wait, what? He went to check up on me in my bedroom? Does that mean he wasn’t the one who took me to my room? Then who did?!’. I thought and was surprised. I looked at Anders, ’No. It can’t be him. He was unconscious when I took him back to the hotel room. Or, did he wake up after I passed out and then take me to my bedroom? I doubt that. After what he has seen me do, he is afraid of me. Even if he woke up, he would be afraid to carry me’.

Then, I recalled something. Before I lost consciousness, Fireball and Irving appeared in my face and were large. But now, why are they small? Oh, they must be small because they are currently in cats’ forms, not their true dragon forms. Could it be my imagination? Why do I feel like they are the ones who took me to my room and laid me on the bed?

’Don’t panic, mama. Irving and I were the ones who took you to your room. And we are the young lady and young man who Damien is talking about. Irving and I had to shift into human forms and take you to your room after you fell unconscious’.

I heard a voice in my head and my eyes widened.

’Fireball? Is that you?’. I was looking at him as I said to him in my mind.

’Yes, mama. It’s me. My little sister and I earned some merits after we helped you. So in return, we awakened some powers’. He replied to me.

’Fireball is right, mama. We awakened some powers. The power of telekinesis, mind - reading power, and mind-linking power like werewolves. Also, Fireball and my dragon’s forms have grown bigger!’. Irving said to me and sounded excited.

Unbelievable. They have mind - reading powers too?! How is that possible?!

"Are you alright, Alpha Anastasia? You look distracted". Beta Damien’s voice made me recall that it wasn’t only me, Fireball and Irving who were in the living room.

I cleared my throat and returned my attention to beta Damien.

"Maybe you hallucinated when you arrived at my hotel room, Beta Damien. You know, that’s possible". I said to him. I wasn’t anywhere ready to tell him that the young lady and young man whom he had seen were Fireball and Irving.

If I ever told him that, he would know that Fireball and Irving were not normal and could shape-shift.

Furrowing his eyebrows, Beta Damien said to me, "I know what I saw, Alpha Anastasia. I didn’t hallucinate anything".

I knew he was telling the truth, but I would be foolish to tell him about Fireball and Irving. Who knows what would happen to them if their true identities were revealed? But one thing I knew for sure was that I would protect them from harm!

I will not allow anyone to harm them.

Compared to the first day they hatched, they now mean a lot to me.

’Did Anders see you two when you were in human form?’. I asked Fireball and Irving.

’No, mama’.

’No, Mama’.

They replied to me. But, I knew that Anders might already have an idea that the young lady and young man who Beta Damien was talking about were Fireball and Irving.

"Let’s just forget about them, Beta Damien. I have got something more important to finish". I said to him, and snapping my fingers, we all disappeared and arrived at President Michael’s family vacation mansion.

There, we saw the hybrid creature that was trapped inside a cage I had made earlier using my light magic.

Standing in front of the cage were the security guards of the vacation mansion. I was able to understand that they were the security guards of the vacation mansion because of their uniforms.

President Michael, his bodyguards, a few soldiers, like three of them, and Jace, President Michael’s eldest son, were also standing in front of the cage.

Even a giant red truck was parked close to the large silver cage, and two muscular men were trying to open the cage.

’The security guards must have been the ones who alarmed President Michael when they saw the hybrid creature’. I thought.

Anyway, I knew that the muscular men would not be able to open the cage, as the cage I created didn’t have any doors.

All four corners of the cage were tightly sealed and the bars of the cage were only an inch apart from each other.

"President Michael". I called him, and he turned to me as he heard my voice.

Everyone also stopped what they were doing and turned to look at me.

Even Jace, who was on a phone call, had to hang up the call after he saw me.

"Alpha Anastasia". President Michael said to me and walked towards me, together with Jace, his son.

As usual, the bodyguards stayed close to President Michael and also Jace, and were ready to shield them from harm.

I completely ignored them.

The minute President Michael stood in front of me, he pointed a finger at the cage behind him and asked me, "Are you the one responsible for killing that hideous hybrid creature, Alpha Anastasia? The security guards said that they saw the cage while they were patrolling, but strangely, they couldn’t find you anywhere in the mansion. So they assumed that the hybrid creature must have killed you before it strangely died".

A grin appeared on my face when I thought to myself, ’Kill me? I see. The security guards have no single idea what I am capable of doing’.
