Fireball, Irving and I finished eating to our satisfaction.

I got up from my seat, and looking at Fireball and Irving, who were lazily lying on the dining table, I said to them, "Come on. You are both supposed to follow me".

They weakly meowed at me without caring to stand up.

In an instant, I understood what was happening. They have eaten too much and are too lazy to walk on their own.

As they stood up, I was tempted to read their minds again. But, reading more than three minds would drain my energy. What a disadvantage.

But come to think of it. The moon goddess read six people’s minds a day, causing her death.

Didn’t her energy drain after reading more than two minds? She truly was daring. Well, she had no idea she would die and ended up becoming who she is now.

I watched Fireball and Irving head along the hallway leading to the living room.

Without doubt, I knew they wanted to rest on the living room’s sofas.

I let them be and went to my office.

Upon arriving inside my office, I walked towards my desk and bent down, bringing out the safe from there.

The safe unlocked after I put the password.

I removed the gold mines’ documents, and after finding the one I wanted, I returned the rest to the safe, locked the safe, and returned the safe to my desk. I mean, under my desk.

"Time to burn you, documents. Sorry. But, I can’t allow others to know about the location of the royal vault and details of how to open the royal vault. That’s too risky". I said and stood up, before turning to the door.

’Clara, I have a better idea. The fastest way to burn these documents right now is by using your firepower’.

I halted immediately when Elektra said that to me. "Wait a damn second." "Are you trying to tempt me to use my firepower?". I asked her with furrowed eyebrows.

’I was just kidding. Don’t mind me at all!’. Elektra chuckled nervously and said to me.

I can tell she is lying.

She meant every word she said when she suggested I use my firepower. She lied about it being a joke because the tone of my voice turned serious.

Why the heck would she want me to use my firepower? Didn’t she know that it was dangerous?

Ever since the moment I felt the strong urge to destroy, I have become wary of using my dark powers.

"Elektra, I need you to be cooperative with me. You know, I could use all three of my dark powers without any difficulties, compared to my powers of light, where I could only use my flying power and combat skills but suck at using my light magic. But, I need to be able to make my light powers stronger than my dark powers, so that my light powers would overshadow my dark powers. And I need your encouragement to be able to do that". I said to her and heard her sigh in defeat.

’My bad, Clara. I am sorry. It’s just that: I love watching you use your powers. Using your powers always makes you look cool. You know I have tried using your powers before, including your mind-reading power, but I couldn’t succeed in using them. Only you have access to them and are able to use them. And, I think that is for the best. I am reckless’. She said to me. Her voice was a little sad.

"It’s alright, Elektra". I told her, before leaving my office.

I am heading to the kitchen to find a lighter.

Burning the documents in my hands using my firepower would be a piece of cake. But at the same time, what if I lost control and got controlled by my dark energy?

My dark side that I never wanted anyone else to find out about would be exposed.

I arrived inside the kitchen, and, as usual, the chefs were inside the kitchen.

I went and took the lighter which was on the counter. "I am just borrowing this lighter. Have a good day, Chefs. And, for the record, the food was delicious". I said to them and did not fail to notice the way the chefs were trying to hide their smiles.

I left the kitchen, and on the way outside the mansion, I saw Fireball and Irving asleep on the sofas.

I didn’t bother them and went outside the mansion. Just a few feet away from the Alpha’s mansion, I bent down and burnt the documents.

I stood up and didn’t leave until the documents were burnt into ashes.

Staring at the ashes, I said, "The omega maidservants will take care of this mess".

The lighter mistakenly fell from my hand and it made a faint exploding sound.

"The omega maidservants would take care of this too". I said before leaving.

I was heading outside the mansion. It was noon, so I still had time to recruit young talented werewolves. And...

"There you are, Lady Valerie". I halted as I saw lady Valerie walking towards me. When I didn’t see Mara and Maya, I asked, "Where are they?".

Lady Valerie understood what I meant, so she answered me, "They went to dispose of the trash we took out of your room".

"Alright". I nodded at her.

"Do you need my assistance with anything, my Alpha?".

"Yes, Lady Valerie. For today, I permit you to have the same authority as I do. You have the omega maid servants and the royal guards at your disposal. Organise the grand hall and supervise every food that will be served tomorrow. Hire more chefs because those four chefs in the kitchen won’t be enough, as our citizens would also be allowed into the grand hall to witness everything that will happen tomorrow. Also, make sure the guests’ mansions are well arranged in case our guests are going to sleep over tomorrow".

"Understood, Alpha Anastasia".
