Mr Alpha, I Am Not Your Typical Lady!-Chapter 87) Crying.
Chapter 87: Chapter 87) Crying.
Making porridge for Anders wasn’t a difficult task for me.
You see, when I was growing up, my mom taught me how to cook.
So, that makes me a professional doctor and a professional chef.
And oh, before you get confused, the mom I am talking about isn’t the moon goddess.
After transferring the porridge into a ceramic bowl that was on the counter, I kept the pot aside and grabbed a spoon that was made out of gold.
Actually, I couldn’t find any normal spoon in the utensil drawer.
Seriously, the shadows’ pack, especially the royal mansion, are fond of displaying their richness. But despite that, there are poor people like Anders out there.
I really should pay more attention to my duty as Alpha.
Before I leave for battle, I must at least build a large house for the homeless and fund the werewolves in need and establish them using some of the gold mines’ gold, so that they will be able to fend for themselves in the future.
I put the gold spoon together with the porridge, and took the ceramic bowl with me out of the kitchen.
When I arrived inside the guest room where Anders was, I saw him sitting in the same position on the bed.
I went and gave him the bowl of porridge while saying to him, "Make sure to blow it before you eat".
Anders collected the bowl of porridge from me with hesitation.
’What a proud brat’. I thought.
After I turned away from Anders, I went ahead to carry the single-seater sofa which was in the center of the room and faced a wooden round modern table.
As you guys already know, werewolves are pretty strong, even omega werewolves are considered stronger than humans. Well, not all humans, as omegas are the lowest rank in the world of werewolves.
Thanks to my werewolf body, carrying the sofa was as easy as cooking noodles. Ha. You see what I did there? Noodles.
I returned to Anders’ side and kept the sofa in front of him.
Before I could sit down on the sofa, I stared at Anders and my eyes widened in disbelief when I saw the empty bowl that was on the edge of the bed and also saw Anders cleaning his mouth using his right palm.
’Gosh. This kid was not hungry, Clara. He was starving! It hadn’t even passed a minute, and he finished everything in the bowl!’. Elektra exclaimed.
"You have quite a big appetite, Anders. Do you want me to make you some more porridge?". I remained standing as I asked him.
Anders shook his head upon hearing my question.
When I sat down and was staring at Anders, before I could say anything, he suddenly said to me with a serious look in his eyes, "I will repay you for saving my life and for the food, Alpha Anastasia".
"Anders, don’t look at me in that way again, just like you did earlier. I find it rather uncomfortable". I said to him, indirectly warning him.
Anders was a smart and weird kid, so he clearly understood my warnings and changed the serious look in his eyes to look harmless.
I added, "Why don’t you like others helping you out for free?".
I intentionally asked him this question because I was now convinced that he disliked being helped.
I knew for sure that there must be a backstory as to why he dislikes others helping him out.
Or maybe he is just a proud kid.
Anders lowered his head, and I saw him clench his fists. ’Oh. So is there really a backstory?’. I thought as I kept on staring at him.
Suddenly, he stood up, confusing me. He bowed before me and said, "Alpha Anastasia, I thank you for saving my life and for the food. If you don’t mind, I will repay you somehow if I earn enough money. Until then, please be patient with me".
’What the heck is wrong with this kid? Are you sure he is alright? Did the person who injured him hurt his head too?’. Elektra said to me, and I imagined her frowning.
I don’t blame her. Anders’ action is strange and annoying.
I must get to the bottom of this tonight before I leave for the diamond-heart city tomorrow.
"Where do you think you are going, Anders? Return to the bed and answer my question". I glared at him and said as he started to leave.
He halted before turning to me. Tears escaped from his bright blue eyes.
I was stunned.
Why was he crying? Did I say something wrong? I thought he was a tough kid, so why was he crying like I bullied him?
"Why are you doing this to me, Alpha Anastasia? I did nothing wrong to you!". He raised his voice at me and cried even louder.
I stood up from the sofa. After standing only a foot away from Anders, I pulled him towards me and hugged him. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
My action made him cry like never before.
I finally understood Anders.
Someone must have hurt him deeply and crushed his spirit. That is why he is acting as if he does not need anybody’s help.
I decided to be patient with him. When he calms down, I will continue to persuade him to tell me everything. I would help him.
It took a while before Anders stopped crying and calmed down.
A kid will always be a kid after all.
I made him sit on the bed, and I sat beside him, not minding the single-seater sofa.
"Anders, I don’t have any idea what hurt you. But I can tell that it made you who you are today. You don’t like anyone helping you out because something happened, right? I want you to know that I sincerely want to help you and take you under my wings". I said to him. My voice was calm and gentle, as I wanted him to feel safe and not pressured.
Anders wiped the tears that escaped from his eyes using the back of his hand. When he finished doing that, he sniffed his nose, before he began to say to me without looking at me, "My- my parents died because they accepted the help of others".
"Continue". I said to him and paid absolute attention to him.
