After attaching the IV drip to Lucinda’s arm, I checked the time on my wristwatch. "9am". I muttered.

"I must hurry up and meet Alpha Anastasia! There isn’t much time left". I exclaimed in a low voice, and the second that I stepped out of the isolation room, I was greeted by countless nurses, doctors, and reporters, who were waiting outside the isolation room.

Reporters?!

Who in their right minds allowed the reporters into a damn hospital?!

"Doctor, are you the one in charge of taking care of the patient who was possessed by a demon? We heard that the patient is Alpha Dylan’s lover".

"Yeah. Is Alpha Dylan okay with you putting his lover in an isolation room?".

"Doctor, words have it that you were the one who declared that Alpha Dylan’s lover was possessed by a demon".

"Are you trying to tell the whole world that demons really exist when they don’t actually exist? Are you a believer of the words of the Lycan King 20 years ago?".

The reporters asked me so many questions in a row. Questions I wasn’t ready to answer. Actually, questions I don’t care to answer.

Ignoring the reporters, who were trying to suffocate me to death and blind me with their cameras and microphones, and destroy my ears with their very loud voices, I shut the door to the isolation room using my access key card that I brought out from my white coat’s pocket.

I returned the key card to my pocket, and shifting into my wolf form without a care in the world, I growled angrily and so loudly that everyone had to cover their ears.

Do not mind me for transforming into my wolf form. Since countless reporters were allowed inside the hospital instead of being outside, I guess there currently are not any rules which govern this hospital.

I dashed away in my wolf form. I was heading out of the hospital. Since I didn’t have the alpha’s phone number, I would have to meet her in person. Well, even if I did have her number, I would still have preferred to meet her in person, as it would be much more efficient to tell her everything that is happening, face to face.

Because I was in my wolf form, I arrived outside the hospital quickly.

Don’t mind me.

After arriving on the third floor of the building, since I was on the sixth floor previously, I entered one of the patient’s wards.

A patient was lying on the bed with his leg suspended in the air (maybe the bones of the leg were broken).

He was completely astonished to see me, since I literally barged into his ward in my wolf form. He pointed a finger at me but was too stunned to speak.

"Get well soon". I said to him, before running toward the open window.

"What are you doing?!". The patient probably panicked after realizing that I was going to jump out of the window.

"Don’t worry about me! I won’t die!".

The second I jumped out of the window, I yelled those words.

Just like I expected, I landed on all fours and did not break a single muscle or bone.

’My next stop is the alpha’s mansion!’. I thought to myself and shook my head. That was my way of stretching my neck.

I steadied my paws on the ground, and the front part of my body lowered to the ground a little bit, before I ran off, causing a great outburst of air.

As I ran and felt the cool breeze on my entire furry body, I could not help but remember the good old days.

I could still vividly remember all the werewolves, including rogue werewolves, I had defeated.

Don’t get me wrong. Despite being this strong, Rose was stronger than me. But, she isn’t stronger than me by much.

I was running along the sidewalk, and looking up ahead, in the middle of the road, I saw a wolf running along with some cars.

And, some figures were on top of its back.

The wolf wasn’t close to me, so I couldn’t sense its aura or presence to know who it was.

But without a doubt in the world, I knew that it was the Alpha.

I have watched the Alpha train with beta Damien at least once when I was on the border with the other doctors.

So, I recognize her wolf form and know that the wolf my eyes are seeing is her.

’Where is our Alpha going, Rebecca?’. Rose asked me.

She must have also recognized the wolf to be our Alpha.

’I don’t know, Rose’. I replied to her, and after the Alpha ran past me, I had to turn around and run after her.

I was surprised after Alpha Anastasia stopped running and halted in front of the hospital. The figures on her back got down from her back.

’No way. Could she have heard about the demon too? Is that why she is here?’. I wondered and shifted into my human form and approached her.

The closer I got to Alpha Anastasia, I realized that it was not her, but Alpha Elektra, her wolf.

Alpha Elektra shifted into her human form. She was wearing black boots, an ash top, a black long jacket that reached her thighs, and black trousers that almost reached her knees.

And her long golden hair was tied up into a ponytail.

At one glance, I noticed the Phoenix tattoo that was on the side of her right leg. Werewolves and humans talked about this Phoenix tattoo yesterday, but no pictures of this exact Phoenix tattoo were posted online.

I admit, today is the first time ever that I have seen this phoenix tattoo.

Honestly, I had the idea that Alpha Anastasia was the chosen child after I went to the border.

"Alpha Elektra". I said to her and bowed as I arrived close to her and saw that she was staring at me.

I don’t know why, but whenever I am in the presence of Alpha Anastasia or Alpha Elektra, I behave like a different person. I always felt the urge to respect and be loyal to them.

I didn’t even feel this way when Alpha Ashton was Alpha and was still alive.

I also did not feel this way when his father was still alive and was Alpha.

Could it be because she is the chosen child of the moon goddess who has now awakened her powers?
