Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend-Chapter 250: A Failure to Launch
The moment Titus pounced on Halle, she began to panic.
She tried to push him away and said with a trembling voice, "Titus, get off me."
"Halle, don’t shout. I won’t do anything to you. I just want to talk to you. Please forgive me."
Titus put his hands around Halle’s shoulders. He easily controlled Halle.
Halle tilted her head and tightly held the clothes on Titus’s chest with both hands, trying to prevent him from lowering his body to approach her.
"If you have something to say, then say it. But get off me first."
This was the Anderson mansion. Although today was Margaret’s engagement banquet and everyone was in the Main Courtyard, Halle knew that if they were seen by the servants like this, it would harm the reputation of the Anderson family.
She had already caused enough troubles for the Andersons. Halle disliked Titus’s approach, but she could not anger him at once.
"Are you willing to forgive me and listen to me?"
When Titus saw that Halle did not resist, he felt happy.
He knew that as long as he put in more effort, Halle would forgive him.
"Alright, can you get off me first? I can’t hear what you’re saying."
Halle pursed her lips, and her brows furrowed.
She didn’t want to make any noise with Titus. Hilla and Emily were upstairs.
"Alright, I’ll let you go. Let’s have a good talk."
As Titus spoke, he slowly got up full of joy.
Halle quickly pushed him away and quickly retreated to the corner of the sofa.
Titus saw her rejection and wanted to pounce on her again. Halle quickly stood up to dodge and said coldly, "If you have something to say, just be quick."
"Halle, can you give me another chance? I know what I did was wrong. I will make it up to you. I promise that you are the only woman that I love. We will live together with our daughter."
Hearing the word ’daughter’, Halle’s eyebrows suddenly tightened.
She did not know why Titus wanted to remarry her. He clearly knew that Emily was not his.
"I am good on my own, and we have divorced. I hope that your family will not disturb me again."
Halle was calm and decisive. Titus didn’t get the answer that he wanted, and his face immediately sank.
He clenched Halle.
"Why? Aren’t you afraid of being laughed at by others Aren’t you afraid that other call Emily a bastard?"
"Emily is not a bastard. Titus, you can say anything about me, but I won’t allow you to talk about my daughter like this."
Halle bit her lips. That word deeply stabbed into her heart. In the eyes of someone like Titus, her daughter would never be treated fairly.
Titus just liked most men in the world. When they liked you and wanted you, they could tolerate everything, including that you had a child with someone else. He would promise that he would consider your child as his own.
But in fact, when they began to hate you, they would also hate everything about you.
"If Emily is not a bastard, then what should I call her? Right after you divorced me, you gave birth to this little girl, and no one will believe that you did not betray me!"
"Titus, what are you trying to do? Even if I betray you, we are already divorced. Please get out immediately."
"Get out? Why should I listen to you?"
Titus lowered his head, and a cold smile appeared on his face.
He knew that it was impossible for him to make Halle change her mind. Halle had always been very stubborn.
Even the way she looked at him was filled with disgust.
Halle did not expect that Titus would change his face so quickly. A few minutes ago, he was begging her for forgiveness, but now he was insulting her daughter.
"Halle, do you know? I wanted to have a good talk with you today, but why don’t you listen, and why do you have to reject me?"
"Do you know how miserable I am now?"
Suddenly, Titus looked up, his red eyes full of anger.
Halle was shocked and took two steps back.
"It’s all because I divorced you. the Anderson family gave you more than half of the property of the Tyson family. That bitch thought she couldn’t live a good life and ran away with all my money. I was so good to her that I didn’t even dislike her getting pregnant with a bastard. How can you women all treat me like this?"
Titus’s words seemed to be incoherent, but Halle’s heart skipped a beat. According to what he said, he divorced her for that woman, Titus truly loved that
woman.
Halle sneered, but she was afraid that Titus would target her again!
"What are you women thinking? You have been pregnant by other men. I kindly accept you. Why don’t you cherish me? Why don’t you forgive me, Halle? Who else is willing to accept that bastard?"
"Titus! I told you, don’t ever call my daughter that."
Halle clenched her fists. If she had Hilla’s martial arts skills, she would have broken his legs.
"I am satisfied with my life. I don’t want to remarry you. It’s not your business whether my daughter has a father or not."
"Not my business? Are the men outside better than me? So you would rather give birth to a bastard for them than get back together with me."
However, in Halle’s eyes, he didn’t look like he wanted to get back together with her.
Halle already had an antipathy on her face, and she was out of patience. She was afraid that people upstairs would be woken up by them.
"That’s enough. You are drunk."
"I didn’t drink at all. Women like you only care about sex."
"What nonsense are you spouting?"
Perhaps Halle felt that Titus was not abnormal, but when hearing this, her face flushed with embarrassment.
"Nonsense? I know what you are up to. You just like to sleep with men. If those men satisfy you, you are willing to have bastards with them."
The B word stabbed Halle’s heart over and over again. She angrily rushed forward to slap Titus, but he grabbed her wrist.
"Are you going to listen to me after I satisfy you?"
"What are you doing?"
Halle panicked and wanted to dodge. However, Titus hugged her and pressed her firmly on the sofa. His hands began to tear her clothes.
...
Halle was completely frightened by Titus.
She had never encountered something like this before.
The only experience she had was that indulging night. Her relationship with Titus was always cold since they got married. She even felt that this man seemed to hate her.
She used to hope that they could live as a normal couple with conjugality. She had even swallowed her pride. But at that time, Titus disliked her.
Later, she had no feelings for this man and found that even when he touched her, she felt disgusted.
The more Halle resisted, the more rude Titus became.
"You women are so cheap. You like to sleep with men so much. I will satisfy you."
"Titus, you bastard, let me go!"
Halle slapped on Titus’s face, but the man did not stop.
"Go ahead. The louder you go, the better it is. Call all those people over and let them see how horny you are."
Halle had thought that there were many malicious intentions in this world, and she would be an injured one.
She had thought that there would be many unpleasant words on her. She had also thought that she could try to ignore them.
However, Halle only felt wronged today. She couldn’t ignore others’ malice as she thought.
At least when Titus insulted her, she would feel furious and sad.
As Titus had said, she did not dare to shout out as there were people upstairs that she cared about.
She could only try her best to resist, but in the end, she could not defeat an adult male.
When the clothes on her chest were torn apart, she felt despair.
...
"Mom, are you crazy? How can you let your daughter stay in the same room as this kind of person? It’s not safe."
After Julian came to River City, he had been staying in the hotel. But somehow, Orlenna invited Julian to stay over after the Andersons’ engagement party.
Margaret thought her mother went crazy. She couldn’t handle it.
Even if he had to stay over, there were so many rooms in Anderson’s mansion.
Margaret couldn’t understand why Orlenna wanted Julian to live in her room.
Why did her mother want her to sleep with Julian so much? Was she adopted?
Orlenna raised her eyebrows and said coldly, "Who is in danger? I think Julian should be protected instead of you."
Margaret sucked in her breath when she heard Orlenna said his name in such an affectionate way.
Was it not terrifying enough to call him son-in-law? Why did Orlenna scare her?
The engagement banquet was her compromise with the Andersons. As for sharing a bed with Julian ... how could that be possible?
"Mom, if you are so worried about his safety, why do you arrange for him and me to sleep in the same room? You can let him sleep in the guest room."
"Why bother? You two had slept together in the hotel. Don’t you think it’s unreasonable to sleep in different rooms on purpose now? Margaret, don’t tell me that you feel embarrassed."
Orlenna rolled her eyes at her. She didn’t feel guilty at all for sending her daughter to another man’s bed.
"I can lose my reputation, but not my virginity... That is a huge sacrifice!"
She thought that today’s engagement banquet was just a formality, but now it seemed that it was not the case.
Margaret thought bitterly, "Mom is serious. She does want me to marry Julian. But I don’t. It is clear that Julian has a conspiracy."
"What kind of sacrifice do you make? Why do you feel wronged to get married? Do you want to be a failure to launch and live in the Anderson’s for a lifetime?"
Orlenna said dismissively as if Margaret would never get married and was gonna die an old maid.
Margaret was used to being criticized by Orlenna. But she also held a little resentment. She could not help but mutter in a low voice, "We are rich. It won’t cost the Andersons much to support me for a lifetime."
"Do you hear yourself? Support you for a lifetime? You wish! Get married as soon as possible."
"Mom, am I adopted? All the other mothers feel bad when their daughters get married. Why are you only afraid that I can’t get married? Is our Anderson family almost broke, so I have to marry the Jorgansens for advantage? The Jorgansen family doesn’t seem to be very wealthy. What if I get aggrieved when I marry the Jorgansens?"
Margaret tugged on Orlenna’s sleeve and shook it. She put on a wronged face as if she could not bear to part with Orlenna and didn’t want to get married.
Orlenna pull her hand away and said mercilessly, "How old are the other mothers’ daughters? How old are you? I’m not scolding you, Margaret. You’re already in your late twenties. Have you ever had a boyfriend?"
Her words went right to the sore point of Margaret. She clutched at her chest as if she suffered a broken heart.
Couldn’t it be she never had a boyfriend before? It showed that she was a decent, well -behaved young lady. She didn’t expect that she would be disliked by Orlenna in this way. It was heartbreaking.
"Mom, you can’t just let me marry anybody you see just because I haven’t had a boyfriend."
"Did I just choose a random guy for you? Didn’t you go to the hotel with him?"
Margaret wailed in mind, "Can you stop mentioning this matter?"
"Anyway, I don’t care. If he enters my room tonight, I ... I will jump off the roof and kill myself," said Margaret firmly.
She snorted, ignoring Orlenna, and ran away.
Orlenna stared after her and sighed slightly. She said sentimentally to Bruce who had sent the guests and was back, "No matter what, she has been my baby daughter for more than twenty years. And now this damn girl is going to get married."
Orlenna was also unwilling to be part with Margaret!
Looking at the worried Orlenna, Bruce wanted to say something. But in the end, he did not say anything to comfort her.
He was not good at comforting others, especially his mother.
"Forget it. It’s a good thing that she can get married. I just don’t know if this Jorgansen boy will treat her well. He shall not let her be wronged. Finally, there is someone willing to accept her stubbornness. Hope Julian won’t get angry with Margaret and run away."
Orlenna said to herself. Although she was about to go back to her room, it was obvious that she kept glancing at Margaret’s room.
She was afraid that Margaret was too willful and would not obediently get married.
Since Margaret said she was going to get married, Orlenna hoped that her daughter could have a good relationship with this man.
...
Hilla heard a noise from her sleep. When she woke up slightly, she saw the door was slightly open. She remembered that she was afraid that Halle and Emily would be uncomfortable here tonight, so she kept the door open and paid attention to them.
Hilla checked the time. It was almost time for the banquet to end. Hearing the noise coming from downstairs, she got up and went downstairs.
With a crash, a man rolled down from the sofa to the ground.
His clothes were also thrown down. He immediately covered himself in a panic.
On the sofa, Halle’s eyes were red, and tears poured from her eyes. Her clothes were also torn to pieces, revealing a large expanse of her fine skin.
She looked at the man on the ground who was in a sorry state and suddenly laughed bitterly!
