Mr. Warner, Your Wife is Running Away Again!-Chapter 756: Might Be Pregnant Again

Norman Sutton stands in the middle of the stairs, wearily saying to Hazel Yates, "Mom, I’m really tired, I need to go up and rest."

Hazel Yates: "You’re tired from playing? Do you know how upset Lana was when she heard what you said? You don’t understand the situation with Lana’s family? Yet, you specifically chose those hurtful words? I tell you..."

"Mom, I know I was wrong." Norman Sutton half-heartedly admits his mistake, interrupting Hazel Yates’ nagging.

"Is this the attitude you have when admitting a mistake? Tomorrow, you should properly apologize to Lana!"

Norman Sutton doesn’t respond further and continues to walk upstairs.

Hazel Yates takes a deep breath in anger, and Phoebe King hurriedly comforts her, "Mom, don’t worry, I’ll talk to him tomorrow."

Hazel Yates: "He’s getting more and more out of line."

There’s a noise from outside, this time Evan Sutton is back.

Hazel Yates’s expression immediately improves a bit, her tone also softens as she asks Evan Sutton, "Luna, you’re back?"

Evan Sutton nods with a smile, "You haven’t gone to bed yet?"

Hazel Yates: "Audrey said she’ll sleep after finishing this movie, it’s almost over. You go upstairs to wash and rest, you’ve had a long day."

"Okay, you all should go to bed early too."

As Evan Sutton lifts his foot to walk upstairs, Hazel Yates suddenly calls out to him, saying, "Oh Luna, your aunt introduced a girl who’s just graduated from medical school. Now that you’re working out of town and have rare time off, do you want to meet her tomorrow?"

Evan Sutton pauses, hearing Audrey Sutton chime in with a smile, "Fifth brother, we saw the photo, the girl looks quite nice."

Hazel Yates agrees, "I heard you used to play together when you were kids."

Evan Sutton chuckles softly as he declines, "Mom, I haven’t considered anything about relationships yet."

Hazel Yates smiles and says, "Then I’ll let your aunt know. She just mentioned it casually, and I haven’t agreed to anything. I just wanted to ask your opinion after you came back."

Evan Sutton smiles lightly, "Let’s just take things naturally."

Hazel Yates responds gently, "Sure, but if you meet a suitable girl, you could consider personal relationships."

Evan Sutton replies affectionately, "Understood, Mom. I’ll go upstairs to shower then."

Hazel Yates: "You all should go upstairs early to rest. Shane needs to work tomorrow, and Audrey, don’t stay up too late."

Audrey Sutton cuddles next to Shane Warner, her eyes fixed on the TV as she responds, "Got it, Mom, it’s almost over, I’ll go to bed right after."

The movie is reaching its ending, with an unexpected twist in the conclusion.

Afterward, Audrey Sutton, Phoebe King, and Laura Yates continue discussing the movie plot as they head upstairs.

Stephen Sutton stays behind to turn off the living room lights, checks the doors and windows to make sure they’re securely closed, and then goes upstairs.

Upon opening the bedroom door, he sees Phoebe King standing by the crib, gently rocking the crib to lull Summer back to sleep after waking just while being settled.

Stephen Sutton quietly closes the door and asks in a low voice, "Awake?"

Phoebe King softly replies, "Opened her eyes a bit when I set her down, but she’s asleep again."

Stephen Sutton walks over, "I’ll take over, you go get cleaned up."

Phoebe King stands up beside him, looks down to smile at Summer, saying, "We think the daughter resembles you more."

Stephen Sutton gives her a side glance, saying, "You just realized?"

Phoebe King grins mischievously, saying, "Then if you dress in women’s clothes, won’t that be like seeing how your daughter will look when she grows up?"

Stephen Sutton’s eyes widen, "Go wash up!"

Phoebe King laughs as she walks towards the bathroom, muttering, "I’ll pick out a nice wig for you online later."

Seeing that Summer is settled in her sleep, Stephen Sutton gently tucks the blanket around her and walks to the bathroom door to speak to Phoebe King who is brushing her teeth, "Didn’t you say your stomach hasn’t been feeling well for these two days? Should we go to the hospital for a check tomorrow morning?"

Phoebe King takes a sip of the water in her cup, rinses her mouth, and says, "Who’s running to the hospital during the New Year? I guess I just ate too much rich food these days during the celebrations, it’s not a big issue. Besides, isn’t your fifth brother back? Let him check me tomorrow."

Stephen Sutton casually jokes, "Maybe you’re pregnant again."

Phoebe King’s hand pauses, as if Stephen Sutton’s words just awakened her, and she hesitantly asks, "When did I have my last period?"

Stephen Sutton: "You’re asking me?"

Phoebe King: "After giving birth to Summer, my cycles have been irregular, but I feel like it’s been a long time since my last period. Maybe I should indeed go to the hospital for a check-up tomorrow, could it really be pregnancy?"

In the next room, Audrey Sutton holds Anna and sits on the bed, watching Anna drink from her bottle with enthusiasm.

The sound of flowing water in the bathroom stops, and shortly after, Shane Warner emerges from the room wearing a bathrobe.

Audrey Sutton looks up at Shane Warner, joking, "Your son eats so much."

Shane Warner: "Isn’t he just like you?"

Seeing Anna’s sucking gradually slow down, with her eyes shut in sleep.

Audrey Sutton carefully removes the bottle and shakes the nearly empty bottle, saying, "Look at that, you made almost a whole bottle, and the little guy drank most of it."

Shane Warner seems uninterested in his son’s appetite, he walks over and checks on Anna sleeping in Audrey Sutton’s arms, and reaches out to pick up Anna, saying, "If she’s asleep, put her in the crib."

With that, he turns and places Anna into the crib beside the bed.

Shane Warner gently rocks the crib, saying, "She won’t wake up."

Audrey Sutton lifts herself to look towards the crib to make sure Anna hasn’t woken up, then tells Shane Warner, "You should blow your hair now, it’s already midnight. Dry it and sleep quickly, you need to work tomorrow."

"You blow it for me."

Audrey Sutton gets up to fetch the hairdryer, saying, "I find you sometimes really childish."

Shane Warner doesn’t respond, seeing Anna sleeping soundly, he walks towards Audrey Sutton.

Audrey Sutton: "Let’s go to the bathroom, don’t wake Anna by staying out here."

"Alright."
