MTL - Warhammer Inquisitor-Chapter 16 Frontiers of Empire: The Underhive Wars
Chapter 16 Frontiers of the Empire: The Battle of the Nest
The flames of the guns and the scorching red light of the laser gun echo each other, and countless physical bullets and light bullets fly each other. These deadly weapons originate from the most primitive killing instinct deep in human genes. Blooming dance in the abandoned factories of the low nest, this is the melody and dance of death.
The two waves of gang members in the low nest are venting their firepower on each other. These terrifying weapons that were created to be aimed at the enemy of mankind are now, and indeed most of the time, directed at each other.
Not long after the birth of human civilization, when we were still apes, the first ape made the first weapon out of stone and animal bones, and human civilization has been keen to use these creations against each other.
It's nothing weird, is it? No matter on the earth or after stepping into the starry sky, most of the time the harsh environment and cruel beasts are inferior to the human compatriots who are equally cunning and good at using tools and tricks, especially in this kind of place where there are only people.
Vito leaned against a steel support pillar, which had already been punched with several thick bullet holes. Solid bullets and laser beams bombarded the surroundings continuously, but Vito did not panic.
He just stood calmly among the corpses. There were already several corpses lying in this corridor. Most of them were either smoked after being hit by laser guns, or were **** and **** from being bombarded by solid bullets.
In the main hall of the factory below, the irascible members of the Hammer gang are operating the logging machine gun with a battle cry that is almost like a beast, and they are moving towards the other side of the hall in an irrational and crazy way. Abandoned lathes, and devout members after mechanical creations.
Vito cocked his eyebrows, watching the heavy logging gun shatter a walking robot that hadn't been equipped with armor plates, and the members of the piety who were hiding behind began to flee.
Although these poor creatures hadn't gone a few steps, they were beaten into a hornet's nest by the ensuing artillery fire and laser guns.
Vito stroked his chin and looked at the chaotic battlefield. He was sure that if the guys from the Mechanicus were here, they would have rushed in with laser rifles while cursing the heretical **** who blasphemed the soul of the machine.
"Looks like I ignited an underground war." He rubbed his chin and looked around the battlefield, looking for an opportunity.
And the Emperor forbid, soon he found it.
The members of the Pious Church shifted and retreated from one bunker to another, but the Hammer Gang obviously held more heavy weapons, constantly bombarding the members of the Pious Church, and they were beaten quite badly.
One of the buddies is being suppressed behind a piece of broken machinery. He seems to have been shot, clutching his **** arm.
Not far away, there was another member of the Pious Church who planned to break through to rescue him, although he himself was suppressed and could not move.
But judging from the results, he is probably the boss of a pious society, although I don't know if he lost his mind and rushed directly into the factory controlled by the Hammer Gang.
Or either these guys are too pious, because the shrine was burned to a frenzy by some heretics.
Vito stood up, and took out a strange small instrument from his waist, like some kind of imperial folk thing.
There is a Mechanicum logo imprinted on the black-gray streamer shell, Vito shrugged helplessly, "You have to let everyone know that you made those things, Priest Omega."
Vito scanned the arm of a devout corpse with a scanner, and the blue fluorescent beam crossed the surface of the coiled snake tattoo. Vito buckled it on his arm, and in the blink of an eye, a tattoo Exactly the same tattoo.
Vito looked at the sign, snorted jokingly, then threw the little machine on the ground, pulled out his bolter and pointed it at it, "Sorry, old Ou."
Gunshots sounded, mechanical fragments flew, Vito squatted down, and looked at the corpse and the surrounding corpses. There was a small golden olive logo under the coiled snake logo on their arms, which was similar to the coiled snake logo he had seen before. The logo is slightly different.
Maybe it is to distinguish the same gang branch? Well, at least Space Marines like to differentiate companies this way.
"The Emperor. You." A weak voice said, and Vito looked over. It turned out that the corpse leaning against the iron gate was not a corpse, but a weak and unconscious gang member?
Vito walked up to him and bent down. The latter looked at Vito weakly, with some confusion in his eyes, "Are you from our gang? A member of Mowen's subordinates? I don't know you."
"I just joined, man, of course you don't know me, and I didn't think much of it. Well, it's so exciting when you get in."
"My lord, this is an idiot's move, **** it, we are all dead, only you and me are left." He said weakly, "Boss Mo Wen is dead, you must go to warn."
He watched Vito stand up, smiling, "Correct your mistake, friend, there is only one left."
Vito raised his gun, pointed it at his head, and to the latter's surprise, Vito pulled the trigger.
The gunshots rang out, and now there is only one survivor left in the Morven branch.
Vito grabbed a laser gun from the ground and carried it on his back. He moved his arms, then turned around suddenly and jumped out of the corridor handrail.
Vito ran on a pipeline, the bolt gun in his hand began to roar and roar, and the bolt shot out from the muzzle with flames, almost shattering a head in the first moment.
Vito jumped down from the pipe on the right side of the main hall and jumped into a position of the Hammer Gang. Everyone immediately turned to look at Vito, but obviously, their nerve reflexes were not as fast as the Inquisitor's.
Vito started the killing dance almost immediately, and the bullets continued to roar, smashing heads and bodies to pieces.
The Hammers start firing heavily at Vito, but his speed is unbelievably fast.
Vito moved quickly. He rushed to the gang members with shotguns at lightning speed, and fired directly under the jaw with the bolter, smashing half of his face into mud.
Vito grabbed the falling shotgun, raised his hand and shot again, a gang member who was close to him flew out, then Vito rolled to avoid a flare shot, and got up on one knee after a few rolls Another shot, and the unlucky guy with the laser gun fell straight out of the bunker.
The suppressed devout members popped their heads, looking in the chaotic direction, he couldn't see what happened inside, he could only hear a burst of gunshots and screams.
He was surprised to see a man jumping up from behind the bunker, dancing on the barricades one after another, like an actor in a theater, firing casually while dancing.
He sometimes disappeared, and sometimes appeared suddenly, like a ghost on the battlefield.
Vito jumped up, landed after a spin, pulled out the steel pipe from the abandoned machine, and knocked over a member of the Hammer Gang.
At the other end of the bunker, the shooter with the heavy logging gun cursed in the rudest terms, turned the gun and poured fire in Vito's direction.
Vito rolled back, dodged the first shot, and then rushed to a solid bunker at a fast pace, heavy bullets exploding and flying behind him.
Vito hid behind a truck that didn't even have the wheels on it, and the felling gun violently bombarded the car body, smashing the car body to pieces.
The young members of the Pious Society did not hesitate, grabbed the laser gun in their hands and took aim. The flames of the laser gun pierced the air, instantly passed through the entire hall space, and instantly burned a hole in the shooter's head.
The suppressive firepower stopped, and at this moment, Vito stood up, aimed at the machine gunner with an earthen rocket launcher he found somewhere, and pulled the trigger that might explode at any time.
The rocket roared and flew over, instantly vaporizing the entire shooting position.
Vito threw away the bazooka and jumped out of the Hammers' position and ran back, while the young Devotional members fired non-stop with lasguns.
He killed several enemies.
Soon after a lot of furious cursing and roaring, a few strong men from the Hammer Gang pushed the heavy laser that was removed from the Chimera onto a podium.
One of the strong men immediately jumped into the design control position, and started to let the silent and terrifying machine soul roar, instantly bombarding and killing a whole row of devout members.
The bunker they were in was paper-like, and the younger members looked at the bright red lights of the cannons and yelled, "You better hurry up, buddy!"
He continued to raise the laser gun and shoot. He tried to kill the laser gun shooter, but the gun shield completely blocked the laser beam, which instead attracted the opponent's attention.
The young man looked at the laser beam aimed at him in amazement, but he was lucky, because Vito flew up and threw him down. The laser cannon passed over their heads, smashing countless mechanical components in an instant.
"Let's go!" Vito shouted, pulling the young people together and running together under the hot red light of the laser cannon. The fragments above their heads flew horizontally, and the laser beam almost completely turned into another straight line, cutting what they saw. everything.
Vito dragged the young man into the hideout of the gang boss. The wounded boss grabbed the young member with his remaining arm and dragged him to his side, so he was able to avoid his own attack. Both legs were smashed into pieces.
The three of them hid behind the bunker, red light flashed around from time to time, and the high temperature of the laser was getting closer and closer. It seemed that the bunker wouldn't last long.
"My Emperor! This is a stupid plan, Marshall, you are right, I should." The boss said and groaned.
The young Marshall leaned against the boss with a gun in his hand, "Don't say that, head, in the name of the Emperor, you tried your best to persuade that idiot Luft, and that idiot has paid for his stupidity."
"Although we all paid the price together." The young man said, retracting his elbow to avoid being burned by the laser, and the boss looked at Vito, looked at the young man, and saw the tattoo on his arm at the same time.
"One of Morvin's men? Kid, is Morvin still alive?" "No, I think he's dead, Lufter called us to help, but...well, it looks like I'm the only one left of my gang. "
"That idiot, he not only caused us a lot of losses, but also killed the faith brothers of other gangs! God is on! He must die!"
The boss cursed, but the machine gunner seemed to turn around and focus his attention on other places. Vito popped his head and looked, "Curse him later, Brother Marshall, help the boss go."
Marshall nodded affirmatively, picked up the laser gun on his back, helped the boss to evacuate to one side, and Vito stood up and watched the roaring heavy laser gun take off the laser gun on his back.
Vito set up the laser gun on the broken bunker, Vito's eyes pointed at the laser gun from the aiming slot, his breathing was extremely calm, and he held the trigger firmly with his finger.
One shot, only one shot chance.
Vito said that he took a long breath, his fingers pulled the trigger, and then pulled the trigger between the next heartbeat.
The light bullet crossed the battlefield, and the shot was accurate, leaping over the gap between the gun mantlet and the top of the gun muzzle, and piercing the shooter's head.
The people around were amazed, then another person was killed by Vito's headshot, a third, a fourth, and the rest fled the laser cannon in a panic, and got into the nearest cover they could find.
Vito picked up the laser gun, looked at the Imperial Skyhawk on the broken machine and smiled, "Thanks."
